Style Sheet XML Pub

Hi,
How can we download the XSL style sheets from xml publisher admin responsibility and modify according to our customizations??
Style Sheets (Sourcing Style sheet, Standard Purchase Order Style sheet) for the Document Types(Sourcing RFQ Sourcing RFQ, Purchase Order Standard). Can any one tell me where these style sheets reside??
Thanks.

What is the basic difference among XSL-FO, XSL-XML, XSL-HTML, RTF files. I mean, I was just trying searching some templates with the name of Contract. So, in template i put Contract% and searched. And it displayed many types of file names. I am bit confused what is what and which to use when!Please refer to http://www.w3.org -- Or, Google "XSL-FO, XSL-XML, XSL-HTML, RTF" and you will get details about each type.
My knowledge says i need to change some document types and some style sheets.... I am not sure about it!
Would you please give me an idea how to accomplish this whole thing? Please give some steps....Sorry, I cannot be of much help here as I am not a developer.
What I can suggest is to refer to (How Can One Customize The Supplier Printable View Report To Add A Company Logo? [ID 1231313.1]) in addition to the above doc, and also "Oracle XML Publisher User Guide" which can be found at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/applications-167706.html
Thanks,
Hussein

  • Style sheets xml teststand 3.5

    back in 2008 I ran some tests using TestStand 3.5 and LabVIEW 7.1
    I am now running TestStand 4.2.1; but need to review an old report
    when I try to open the xml report - I get an error:
    "Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later".
    I believe that the style sheet can not be located. Are these style sheets available for past versions of Teststand? and maybe some simple instructions on where it should be located in the file directory so everything plays nice.
    thanx

    Hey Lawrence,
    It sounds like the XML files were created with an absolute path for the stylesheet. If you just copied the XML files without first packaging them for distribution, that might be what the issue is.
    If you have access to the original system, you could package the XML files for redistribution using the stand alone tool XML Pack.exe, also available via the Tools menu (Package XML/HTML Files for Distribution...).
    Alternatively, you could edit your XML files to point to the stylesheet that you do have on your system.
    The first line of the XML file will have the location of the style sheet in it - you could edit that path to point at the stylesheets provide with TestStand v4.2.
    Example: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" ?><?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components\Models\LMModels\StyleSheets\expand.xsl"?>
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Suraj,
    That option is not available in FTP mode..
    This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.
    Yes, you're right !!
    Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
    Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
    How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
    ...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.
    Thanks

  • XML style sheet error at Validate step in FDM for few locations

    Hi All,
    Users are facing the "XML page cannot be displayed - The style sheet doesnot contain a document element. The style sheet may be empty, or it may not be weel-formed XML document.." for very fre locations while validating the data.
    Please advise as it is most annoying thing for users.
    Thanks and Regards

    You will need to check a few things:
    a) Check that the Integration Option in the HFM Adapter "FDM WEB SERVER NAME" matches the value that the users are using to access FDM.
    http://<fdmwebservername>/HyperionFDM
    Make sure that the server host name is entered into this option.
    b) Check that the XML file type on the users workstation is configured to open with Internet Explorer and not the XML Editor.  You can do this by creating a text document named test.xml and right-clicking on it and choose "properties" and update the program to open the file to Internet Explorer and save.
    c) Make sure that the FDM Web Site is in the users trusted sites in the IE Browser
    d) Make sure that the "Automatically prompt for file downloads" and "Automatically Prompt for Active-X Controls" options are set to Enabled in the IE Settings.

  • Can the XML style sheet be embedded in the report file?

    My customer would like to be able to share test reports with several locations. The problem is that sending just the XML report file is not enough. The report file points to a style sheet that must exist at the specified path on the destination PC. It creates problems when one simply wants to email over a test report. I have customized the style sheet slightly to make things easier to read. So, can I embed my custom style sheet in each report file?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    The XML style sheet should not be embedded into the report file. Since XML would represent raw data, you would not include information on how to interpret it. However, there is a way for you to easily reference your style sheet, even when it is on another computer.
    1) Go to Configure >> Report Options in TestStand, and change the style sheet file to your style sheet.
    2) Uncheck the "Store Absolute File Path" box.
    3) Make sure the style sheet is in the same folder as your report.
    You can view this on any computer, and now a relative path is now being used to reference the file.

  • XML report missing style sheet location

    Hi all
    I am having a issue regarding XML report generated by TestStand. I am using a custom style based heavy off NI example style sheet horizontal.xsl. The report generation works correctly on my development system however when the sequence is deployed onto runtime machine the header to the XML report is missing the style sheet location. i.e:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    Rather than:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="G:\Test\ATE4000_Production_Test_Results\T6MK6\Style_Sheets\T6MK6_PAS_Test_Sheet.xsl"?>
    If anyone has any idea what might be causing this issues i would be very greatful for any advice.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I found the issue. I was determining the location of the style sheet using a registery key. The registry key contained double slashes which resulted in the style sheet not being found. I.e.. C:\\Test\\T6MK6_PAS_Test_Sheet.xsl. With single slashes the program worked as excepted.

  • Generate report from database using .xsl style sheet

    I am trying to view test result histories for specific uut serial numbers.
    We are logging all test data to the default access database template that was provided with Teststand.
    Is there a method of generating reports from the database that match the format of those generated at runtime?
    I was surprised to find that the default access database did not contain any gui or pre-made reports matching the xsl style sheets chosen in the report options dialog.
    My database skills are weak, I am able to browse the raw data and I see the relationships between some of the tables, but the prospect of recreating one of the xml report formats in access seems daunting. Am I missing something? what is the best way to print a uut report from test data stored in access?

    Hello msears,
    Thank you for posting on the NI Discussion Forums.  Unfortunately there are no tools available in TestStand for directly converting an Access database to a formatted .xsl report.  It is possible to have a step in a sequence that reads the information from the database, and create the .xsl report as if it had been generated at sequence run-time, by writing those values directly to Locals.ResultList.  Admittedly, this would require some knowledge of Microsoft Access, and the ability to write a program that will extract information from the database, in order to include it as a step in the sequence.
    Is there anything stopping you from creating a formatted .xsl report when the sequence is run (instead of trying to create it from previous data stored in an Access database)?

  • Getting the file name using ehdr:getRequestHeader function in style sheet

    Hi, I am facing an issue while using ehdr:getRequestHeader function to get the name of the file, which was placed in FTPS server and read by FTP Adapter. In style sheet I am trying to get the file name as below.

    When I use the same function getRequestHeader for FileAdapter, it is working fine. Do anyone know why this issue occurs? Is this an issue with environment?

    As far as I can see the problem is the invoke of the SOAP service. This could be because of an empty filename but maybe there are other issues. First, make sure that the filename is read correctly by looking it up in the BPEL runtime process. Maybe the content is different than you expected it so that the read action for the properties give wrong result. Are you sure that ehdr is the correct prefix for the ftpheader?

  • How to apply style sheet (.css) in Weblogic directory listing

    Hi,
    We are migrating a directory listing application from Apache to Weblogic.
    Earlier we did this by Apache httpd.conf entry like below :
    <Directory "/opt/apache/httpd-2.1.9/htdocs/Myreportfolder">
    IndexOptions FancyIndexing FoldersFirst NameWidth=* XHTML
    IndexOrderDefault Descending Date
    IndexStyleSheet "/css/style.css"
    </Directory>
    /opt/apache/httpd-2.1.9/htdocs folder has all it's usual resource files.
    We were able to see documents in "Myreportfolder".
    Now we have moved to Weblogic and using virtual directory mapping as below and we are trying to achieve the same thing:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <wls:weblogic-web-app xmlns:wls="http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-web-app" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/web-app_2_5.xsd http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-web-app http://www.bea.com/ns/weblogic/weblogic-web-app/1.0/weblogic-web-app.xsd">
    - <wls:container-descriptor>
    <wls:index-directory-enabled>true</wls:index-directory-enabled>
    <wls:index-directory-sort-by>LAST_MODIFIED</wls:index-directory-sort-by>
    </wls:container-descriptor>
    - <wls:virtual-directory-mapping>
    <wls:local-path>/Myreportfolder</wls:local-path>
    <wls:url-pattern>/*</wls:url-pattern>
    </wls:virtual-directory-mapping>
    <wls:context-root>/getreports</wls:context-root>
    </wls:weblogic-web-app>
    We are able to view the reports but we do not get look-and-feel of Apache like directory listing.
    but we encounter below issues:
    1) File/Folder icons are not visible - we want to use style sheets in http header from the response that is returned from weblogic server
    2) Filename is limited to 29 characters when it is showing
    3) Files are not sortable as Descending order - we sorted using tag <wls:index-directory-sort-by>LAST_MODIFIED</wls:index-directory-sort-by> but the latest file is shown at the last
    We are thinking that Weblogic must be having some configuration like Apache httpd.conf where we can apply style sheets (css ).
    We would appreciate af anyone can provide better insight into the issue.
    or is it possible to extend weblogic.servlet.fileservlet class to serve this purpose.
    Thanks & regards,
    Rabi

  • How does one export a style sheet?

    Adobe Frame 12 help says:
    "You can also use style sheets (.css) to manage the styles in the published output. In this case, you can export the current styles to a .css file. You can then open this file in a text or .css editor (such as Adobe Dreamweaver), make changes to the styles in this file and import the file back.
    To export and import the style sheet:
    To export the output styles defined for the current output, click Export . "
    OK, so where is this?
    Nothing I can find on the menus provide this option displaying regular Frame or XML view.
    Also, when I find it, do I need to load the css into Dreamweaver? Shouldn't I be able to use the XML view?

    No Colum, I've since found it. (Actually I found a video by Bernard A. that explained a bit).
    In the "Publish" pod are 5 choices (epub, html, etc) and selecting one highlights a button for settings. Edit settings has TWO tabs, one called Style Mappings which is where the button for Import/Export styles can be found.
    There's a button there for Automap Paragraph Styles which I'm going to experiment with next.
    Thanks for your efforts to solve my huge learning curve.

  • Sourcing Style Sheet xsl VO , Print RFQ (Sourcing )

    Hello,
         In Sourcing, when we click on Any PO. We have option to print RFQ. This internally calls
    PON_SOURCING_XSLFO.xsl
    Where can i find from which VO data is sent to this.

    Hi PreethamChandra
    As far as I know, the XSL is called from the template . Please check the template definition. You should find here how and which data is exactly passed to the XSL style sheet for formatting. The XSL style sheet accepts the data in the form of xml nodes .
    Thanks
