Hello all,
I got a problem with my Sun Fire, with solaris 10, when my system boot, we got a powerfailed :-( and when my sun restart again after a long checkdisk with many errors... i got this error everytime i want to do a su.
su[12345] : passwdutil.so: nameservice switch entry for passwd not found.
I don't know how to fix that.
If anyone have a working solution, i would be wonderfull :)

that's the full error I get when trying to mount my encrypted drive - I'm sure there is a simple fix for this but no one else seems to have the same issue, I compiled from the source but still got the same error.

After doing a kernel upgrade today (in two of my systems) I noticed this error:
/proc/misc: No entry for device-mapper found
Is device-mapper driver missing from kernel?
Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver.
It would seem as if I'm missing something, however both machines are working fine.
So, the question is: is the "device-mapper" referenced in the error a kernel module? If so, should install it separately or should I just ignore the message?

Doesn't seem to be just a lilo error, as I'm using grub2.
This occurred after upgrade to kernel 3.3.4-2.
After running sudo modprobe dm-mod, then lsmod, dm-mod is nowhere to be found.
sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-linux
Found initrd image: /boot/initramfs-linux.img
/dev/mapper/control: open failed: No such device
Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver.
Check that device-mapper is available in the kernel.
This is from my desktop machine which I didn't reboot before I updated grub2.
My laptop is fine, as I didn't update grub2 before rebooting, the device mapper module loads correctly.
Reverting to previous kernel to see if I can rebuild my grub.cfg correctly!
Update:
Reverted to kernel 3.3.4-1, rebuilt grub.cfg, reinstalled kernel 3.3.4-2, rebooted, dm_mod is loading correctly!
And, I didn't realize how old this thread was, oops!

Dear All,
I have created bank gl without tick of open item management now i have activate OIM & Transcation exisit for the same
I have done it as given below:
1) I have made GL balance Zero by posting an additional entry by F-02 (document type SA)
2) Block the GL for posting
3) though help of programe RFSEPA02 i have done the same.
Now the GL is OIM
Now i have to reverse the additonal entry pass to make GL balance zero
At the time of reverse through FB08 system gives an error massage
*" Document splitting: Items for clearing not found"*
Please any one help to resolve the issue

When i am trying to clear open item for the both the extra entry system gives an same error

That's what I tried. The 6 steps and I do not have security software on my phone. iTunes on my Mac is still giving me the warning that I need to download the latest version on my phone, and is not recognizing it in devices, which is the irony because that's what I need to actually update it

What I am trying to find is the total number of contacts the the 8530 will hold. IE; 500? 1000?
I know that each contact will take so many numbers and so many email address's but how many individual contacts will it allow you to add?

Hi and welcome to the forums!
I have yet to see a credible source publish actual limits for records on any of the calendar, memo, tasks, or contacts apps. If you find one please post. I usually tell users to keep it manageable. To me 6,000 contacts? Seriously?
Heck I wasn't stationed with 6,000 people in the U.S Army! .
Remember the device memory is flash memory, designed for keeping all device functions running at peek levels. Storing large amounts of records just takes that much dynamic memory and makes it static.

Error while running Validation Data for category not found in application

Dear Experts
While running Validation and IC Matching I am getting Error i.e. "Data for category not found in application CONSOLIDATION"
May some one tell me the reason and resolution.

I suppose your problem was solved in the meanwhile.
Anyway we had the same issue, when running Validations against ICMatching App.
That was because Method VALIDATION of Class CL_UJP_VALIDATE tries to relevant data in order to perform calculations (line 127), but if no data is found, ends raising an exception (with a misleading text line 143).

Validation- RUN_LOGIC:Data for category not found in application T_SALES

In BPC NW 7.5...
I set up the validation business rules to check that Account A = Account B. When I run the validation package through DM, I got the error that stating RUN_LOGIC:Data for category not found in application T_SALES. I have 3 members in my Category dimension: ACTUAL, FORECAST and PLAN. The same error appeared even if I hardcoded the category member in the script logic:

CURRENCY = %RPTCURRENCY_SET%

Hello,
this error isn´t about category dimension. The system checks if all needed dimensions exists, and if not it gives this error. You can use debug to seach for the dimension in fault.

configure: error: pcre-config for libpcre not found. PCRE is required and available from http://pcre.org/
when i check with pcretest it is showing me PCRE version 6.6 is available. but when configuring it is not connecting to this pcre. I am accessing a remote desktop.

DNS entry for DC not dynamically updating (Server 2008 R2)

Windows Server 2008 R2. I've got a single DC (I'm preparing to install the 2nd in the next few days). The host (A) record for the DC shows to be static for some reason. I changed the name of the DC recently, then brought down the Exchange server and rebooted
and it successfully connected again. I might have entered in a static DNS entry for the new server name before renaming the server, but I'm not sure.
I've tried to delete the static DNS record for the DC and then reload, but it continues to appear as a static entry. The mail server's DNS record still appears as a dynamic entry.
What am I doing wrong?

Like Mike suggested, it is normal that it is a static record.
However, if your DC with its new name is not updating its DNS record, check that "Register this connection' addresses in DNS" is checked on the DC's adapter and then run
ipconfig /registerdns using an elevated prompt.

Include report for class not found

Hi all,
I am getting an error in test system after transporting from devolopment system
IN SE24,if do a syntax check for the class
include report CL_EX_TEST======CO not found .But in devolopment system,i am not getting any error.
ANybody plz help.

The previous answers are misleading because you obviously do not transport a standard class from DEV to QA system. Instead I assume you are using class CL_EX_TEST within your z-class.
Please check in table <b>PROGDIR </b>whether their is an entry for CL_EX_TEST======CO (protected section) on the QA system. I guess it is missing.
If so have a look at the DEV system how this entry looks like and add it to table PROGDIR on your QA system.
This is a common error (at least for me) with standard classes:

Work around for server not found problems on FF36

I have found a work around for all the people having server not found problems with FF36.
If you manually set your network adapter DNS to an external DNS server (as opposed to your local ISP) then the problem goes away. I set mine to use the two google DNS servers:
Preferred: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4
Not a clue why this works but it is 100% successful on my desktop PC, whereas before I could hardly connect to a webpage with FF36 without multiple page refreshes and much frustration, even though FF35 was fine and rolling back to FF35 was also fine.
Something has changed in FF36 and either the way it handles DNS or the way it works with some network adapters.
It is nothing to do with add-ons, profiles or firewall software as I have tried all of these things and only the DNS change made a difference. I even copied over a full working profile and the program files directory for Mozilla from my portable which was having no problems and the problem still existed on the desktop, which is why I started looking at the network adapater since everything else between the working PC and the non working one was identical.
Hopefully this will help the developers to pin down the real cause of the problem and fix it in the next release.

Mapping for component Not Found Error ?

Hi does anyone know how this error can be fixed I am trying to refer to a compnent called task and it
is saying I have not mapped it yet it has been mapped inside my coldbox framework ?
The error I get is:

[Solved] Recommend a package with pacman for "Command Not Found"

Is there a way to get Pacman to recommend a package name like in ubuntu, for example:
If I were to type in a terminal ifconfig and it said "Command not found"
Could Pacman recommend the package net-tools?

Web Reference inside Script Task causes Binary code for script not found error

I am attempting to access a SOAP web API (sales force) from a SSIS package. To do this I created a script task.
Inside the script task I went to Add Service Reference. Then I click advanced to make it a web reference. Then I point it to the WSDL file and give it a name SFEnterprise. It successfully finds and adds the Web Reference to the script task.
I leave scriptMain.cs alone and I have no warnrings and no errors. Now in the solution explorer I right-click the script task and hit BUILD. I see the message from Output that BUILD succeeded.
I close the VSTA script editor and now I am back on the control flow window. However I have a red X on the script task with the following message. "The Binary code for the script is not found. Please open the script in the designer by clicking EditScript
button and make sure it builds successfully"
But it does build successfully! And I have not even added any custom code except for the web reference using the WSDL file.
I am using SSIS 2012 and Visual Studio 2012. I have been reading about this binary code error message on Google searches and suggestions about delay validation and turning off pre-compile do not apply to SSIS 2012.
Is SSIS not capable of doing this?

I was wanting to use the 2.0 coding style of accessing the soap service which is supported by adding the web reference vs. adding a service reference. But using a service reference instead of web reference actually allows the script task to compile. This
is really odd behavior. I wonder why one works and not the other.
Changing my C# code over to service reference coding style to access the SOAP service was still returning an error. When I added a break point I found the error message "Could not find default endpoint element that references contract in the ServiceModel
client configuration section"when calling new SoapClient();
I found this page http://www.sqlis.com/sqlis/post/Where-is-my-appconfig-for-SSIS.aspx and after I copied the System.ServiceModel app settings from the script task app.config to the DTSDebugHost.exe.config it was able to successfully login to the endpoint
during package debug mode.
This means I will have to edit the SQL Server DTS config files on the prod SSIS server to get the package to actually run in the job agent.
So for now I am good I think just plugging away at coding what the script task is actually supposed to do now that is can actually login.
