Sub account keeps merging with main account

I travel a lot and use Apple to view my emails. However whenever I use the safari browser to view my BT Yahoo account in order to permanently delete emails my wife's sub account populates my iPad mail app. This means I have hundreds of emails all with the same time stamp in my apple mail account. Is there either a way of permanently deletin emails without going through a browser or stopping sub accounts merging into the main account

My original reply was intended to obviate the need to use a browser in order to delete mails which appears to have been succesful so I don't understand why you still need to use the browser. Having said that, it seems bizarre that refreshing a browser opened in one account should cause mails from another account to be delivered to a mail client!! Do you have some form of forwarding rule set up anywhere? Does the mail client have both accounts set up or just the primary account? I.e are the sub account mails appearing in your account or the sub account's  inbox?

  • Merging with microsoft account

    I had one skype account which I deleted because I didnt like the username. My microsoft account was merged with that skype account.
    Now I have created a new Skype account and I want to merge the same microsoft account with this new skype account. But I am unable to do so.
    When I try to login using microsoft credentials it just say that the account has been suspended for my security. I had two live chat with skype support but thay are unable to resolve the problem.

    under normal circumtances, one can easily unlink their Microsoft account with a certain Skype account (https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12211/how-do-i-unlink-my-skype-and-microsoft-or-facebook-accounts), then merge it with another Skype username.  
    However, in your case, as it seems that there are possible issues related to your microsoft account, you may need to settle the issue first and only the customer support can assist you with that.  You can try to contact them again to know what your possible options are.

  • Merger with MSN account?

    The merger with my MSN account does not seem to work ..
    When I log in with MSN, I can not see anything from my usual SKYPE. What am I doing wrong .. Is it so that my Skype-name must be the same, and if so, how do I change it? Can not actually click on the Skype-name in Profile settings? I have the desire to use the MSN account, but also want to Keep my SKYPE account with the corresponding number and history? ...

    It's not working properly that's what I can say.
    Here's what happens, you have a MSN and Skype account right?
    When you login in Skype with MSN account you'll be creating a NEW account in Skype and then when you merge to your Skype account it will create a relationship between both accounts. After this do never use windows live again.
    Now two things will happen.
    - When you login in Skype with your MSN account it will show all your skype accounts and then it will load your MSN accounts.
    You'll have all your contacts together.
    - but if you login with your original Skype account, only the Skype accounts are loaded.
    Thats my perception on how it realy works.
    I merged both accounts but i will never login with msn. It's an old email entry that i dont want my contacts to have it because i dont use it for email, but still used it for messaging until today.

  • Removing GMAIL POP Account and Replacing with IMAP Account

    Because I want to sync my Gmail account on two Macs and discovered that IMAP is better at this than POP, I want to delete my Gmail POP account and add an IMAP account. Mail > Preferences indicates that all received mail will be deleted as well. Since I want to keep received emails, should I move them to a folder in On My Mac? I don't see where emails are stored on the hard drive, so until I know that I'll be able to retrieve them, I don't want to delete the POP account.

    You may find that all these messages also exist on the Gmail server, and if so they will sync with the IMAP access. The account folder and the Inbox, etc, can be found at Home/Library/Mail in a folder beginning with POP.
    You can leave the POP account, and only disable it in Mail Preferences/Accounts/Advanced until you check or transfer the info.

    The reasons are like this:
    a. Manual entries into the stock accounts
    b. there have been movements where the system has done only material documents and no corresponding accounting documents have been created.
    eg of a situation: You  have V price set for the material. But you never maintained any price in the Material master. Then the system will not throw an error, it just creates the materil document without creating the accounting document
    at the time of initial upload, there is high opportunity of such errors.
    rectification:
    a. develop a query linking the material document header and the BKPF reference field.
    b. develop a query to list down the accounting document header information posted in these accounts. the reference procedure should be MKBF (i do not remember exactly?) But it fills with a particular value if its from MM. Check for all the documents that have been posted to these accounts without this parameter in the header. Here you go..

  • Lightroom 2.5 not printing with main account user but prints with a new use

    I have been troubleshooting all day. My new epson r280 is not printing with LR2.5 though it prints in other applications fine. Called epson and we are sure that I have the latest drivers, etc. Called Adobe and they had me create a new user in accounts in system preferences-accounts. When I tried printing from the "test user" LR printed with my epson printer. Adobe said the problem was with my system permissions and I had to reset my system permissions. This doesn't sound right to me. I ran disk utility and repaired my permissions but LR still doesn't print using my original user. Genius Book suggests going to Library-Preferences and to delete the plist. Does this sound right? And do I delete the p-list for LR or for the epson printer? What happens when you delete a p-list? Will I lose my catalog in LR? I would appreciate any help on this problem.

  • Thunderbird 31.4 skips checking first pop account on launch with that account set to check for new messages at startup.

    T-Bird Portable 31.4, originally used on WinXP and now on Win7. There are 4 email accounts it's set to check on startup, but it does not check the first one. I have uncheckmarked and recheckmarked the check-on-startup box in the account settings.
    After the recheck interval I specified it does finally get mail for that account, or if I do a manual check, but if neither of those things happens then no matter how many times I launch T-Bird it never gets mail for that account. The account is set up identical to another account through the same ISP /mail server which does get checked. There are no error messages and I have no trouble using that account otherwise.
    I tried to submit this text box a few minutes ago and received some sort of message that I wasn't authorized to view the page and it wiped out the text I wrote. Hope that doesn't happen again this time because it gets really annoying to try to be detailed and thorough then have your time wasted by your browser (Firefox) losing your post. Thanks.

    Hi Dave. I don't follow your solution.
    1. I know of only one location that affects *checking* for mail, and that is on the *main* "Server Settings" panel, in the "Server Settings" section. That section has an advanced button, but there is nothing under that button about checking new mail.
    2. There is no such thing as Server Settings | Message Storage | Advanced, with checkmark box for "Include this server when getting new mail". However, under Sync and Stoarge there is a checkmark box that reads "Keep messages on this computer..."
    So I am curious, and left wondering, what did you really change?

    will not let me log in2 my itunes account 2 update/buy apps. keep asking 4 husbands password/account. No option to change/log in2 my Account

    You cannot use your account.
    All apps are forever tied to the account that was used to get them.
    Apps from one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.

    My first post here.
    Basically i had my first itunes account with alot of purchases on it. got a new email and set up a new account, so since then i use account 2, and havent even logged on to account 1 in a couple of years, since then i have upgraded and now have an ipad and iphone..
    after updating to ios5 today whenever i try to update or purchase apps it comes up with my apple id for account no1.
    Am i able to delete this account? if so how? and will the original purchases from account 1 still be authorised to play on account 2 or am i going to loose them??
    I have tried to research this but not found much on this specific problem.

    You cannot and should not delete it.
    All purchases made from the old account will always be tied to that account.  You will always have to update teh apps from that account and you will have to authorize your computer for that account.
    Why did you start a new account?  Why not just change the e-mail address associated with the old account?

    Hi, my computer recently crashed but, luckily, I have all of my songs purchased from Itunes on my Ipod. The other computer in our house contains my brother's Itunes account. I have been reading the information on how to authorize another account and how to manually manage an Ipod, and I have authorized my account for his computer. However, I have not seen the issue I'm most worried about addressed which is my brother's Itunes library. I am afraid that if I plug my Ipod in and begin to transfer the songs on my Ipod to my newly authorized Itunes account on my brother's computer that it will erase all of his Itunes library. Can this happen if I am signed in to my account? The only account that has ever been on this computer is his and I don't want to interfere. Sorry if this has already been addressed but I had not seen it anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

    My advice is to make a new Windows user account for your name, and then start iTunes after you log in there.
    Use the transfer purchases feature to get your songs off your iPod, and it will not touch your brother's account, iTunes library, or music files, at all.

  • Using SyncDoc to sync Accounts full version with the Accounts Lite Version

    I tried the AccountsLite application version for a few weeks and I just purchased the full Accounts version. My phone is telling me I can sync the applications using SyncDocs. My interpretation of this is that I can tranfser the information I have input into the lite version into the full version. Is this the case? If so, what is SyncDocs and how do I sync these two together?

    If you want an unlocked version, you need to buy it from Apple and pay full price.  AT&T can only sell you an iPhone locked to their network.
    The nano Sim card of the 5S will work well on the iPhone 6 Plus.

  • How can I change my work email (sub account) to my own verizon account?

      I want to keep my email intact. I have retired and my work sub-account needs to be changed to my personal account to make sure I don't lose it.

    And what happens if you leave Verizon because you move out of its service area?  I know, unlikely, but it happens.
    You can email your contact list from your old email account and merge with new account.   Look for a sharing function in your work email contact list. 
    You can then forward your work email to while you transition your contacts to your new email address.
    I Recommend switching to safe, public Gmail account.  Unlike Yahoo, it isn't over-run with spam.
    Gmail is free and will save all your contacts for use on any device.  As a way to move your information, going through gmail is very effective.
    You can use gmail as the default but still use Verizon email. This way your contact list is always saved in a public email account.

  • Make sub account the main account

    I have two BT mail accounts.
    I can access the main account via Thunderbird, but cannot get Thunderbird to recognise my sub account (I assume that sub accounts are not accessible via Thunderbird).
    It would suit my usage if I could change my sub account to be my main account so that I could work with it in Thunderbird.

    Thunderbird does work with sub-accounts. Just remember to rename the account name within Thunderbird, if you have more than one BT Internet accounts added.
    That makes sure that the second one you add, does not have the same name as the first.

    It sounds like you have an iCloud account, and want to create one for your wife using the same iCloud account. You can do this with an iCloud Alias, and this article will help you do that. Keep in mind that any and all purchases made with the alias will not be transferrable or merged with another account if she wants to have her own account down the road.
