Sub and Amp Installation

Is the Rockford-Fosgate 10-Gauge amplifier installation kit with interconnect containing 17' of 10 gauge power wire, 3' of 10 gauge ground wire, 20' of twisted RCA cable, and 20' of remote wire and an ATC fuse holder and fuse, the kit that i will need to install 2 12" subwoofers, 1200 watts peak power and 400 continuous power, and an 1800 watt amp in my car? my radio has aux ports behind it for subs so. If there is a better kit for around the same price or if there is anything else that i will need please let me know as well.

the amp that i am planning on going with is the kenwood 9104D 1800 watt so if that is a true 1800 watt amp then yeah. but you say at least 4..so would 0 or 2 be better? and if so could you by chance suggest a kit then that would have that size wire and everything else i will need. like i said in my first post the stereo has the aux ports so there is no need to hard wire so if you could keep that in mind when/if you suggest a kit. but then the 12 ga speaker wire is ok then? and if you decide...or anyone else does...to suggest a kit if at all possible id like it to be around $50 but if not its understandable.

I have a 05 Pontiac G6 GT and I would like to install Subs in my trunk of the car. I have no experience with this. I was wondering if someone could tell me what I am looking for or any suggestions. Also I want to keep my stock radio and still hook up the subs. And I would like to add an Aux port to the radio if possible. The stock radio has an AUX button but no input. Also about the subwoofers in the trunk will they have the same effect as subs in a truck open to the seating of the car. Sub and amp installation with stock stereo

I have a 2007 gmc Sierra extended capickup up, I want to add a little extra base to the system but want to keep the stock stereo in place. I have read about wiring the system with an adaptor from the speaker. Just looking for some suggestions on the best way to go about this and even what hardware I should look into!!

a line out convertor is all that you would need for that setup to get hooked up to a factory head unit. all you would need after that is an amp kit, amp, and subwoofer. good luck!

The unit has 2-channel Preamp Outputs on the rear of the receiver, used for connecting external amps. This unit doesn't have Sub Preamp Outputs.
The rear preamp outputs can be set in the menu to output a full range signal to the rear channels, or a filtered signal to a subwoofer. When set to subwoofer, the output typically has a selectable low-pass filter and is non-fading. You can change the rear preamp outputs by selecting REAR/SUB option under Setup menu of the unit.

How much would Best Buy charge for a Subwoofer and amp installation plus the wires? I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid, dont have the wires, have a 2 12" Kicker subs, and a bridged Rockford Fosgate. Thank you!

Also, if the amp is rated at 800 watts continuous (RMS), we're going to have to use a 4 AWG amp kit. If it's 800 watts PEAK, but the RMS is 500 watts or below, 8 AWG will suffice. If you have an orignal factory radio (OEM) we are going to have to use a line out put converter (LOC) in order to properly provide a signal input to the amp. LOC typically are around $15 plus labor.

This framework should meet a lot of my demands, but for this actual project, it's too complex, I only need this 2 tags additional to the existing, and I substituted the tag by a and the tag by drawing a spezial character (↑). With this drawing of special characters, I can also do a lot.
But nevertheless that's the framework I need for future projects!

Additional effects and amp models for guitar

Do the jam packs include additional amp models and effects or presets? Granted I'm new to GB, but in 2 whole weeks I haven't been able to create 1 acceptable tone using my guitar (real instrument).
Typically, I stay within 4 tones on my practice tube amp. Dirty, clean, and both with slight chorus/reverb/flanger. Standard stuff that I can't seem to come even close to recreating in GB.
I'm looking for an Octave divider as well. Also, can you play bassline on a guitar and drop it 1-2 octaves? Wors't case I assume I could play the line and manually move the note down, right?

I think there are more amps in the JPs, but I don't have any of them. I have heard some good sounds from folks using the amps in GB, but I mic my amp to get my sound. You can open the manual control for each amp and tweak them like you would a real amp. Have you done that? The presets for the guitar amps are a selection of effects and amp settings that are supposed to be for the type of sound the preset suggests. You don't have to keep them the way they are. You can tweak all of the parameters.
For playing bass on your guitar, you can use the vocal transformer plugin (Female to male) to get a lower octave. Some folks have reported this is satisfactory for bass. I have not done it, myself, as I have a bass.
You cannot "move" notes you play on your guitar. You can only move notes on software instrument regions.

Mobile PO Receipt: Page showing To Sub and To Loc for Standard Receipt

I am facing a weird issue.
Using Oracle WMS R12.1.1
I have 2 different OU's and 2 different responsibilities. I have approved PO's for each OUs. Receipt Routing is Standard Receipts for both POs. When I do receipts using Mobile PO Receipt Page for OU 1, after specifying LPN number and hitting enter, it shows To Sub and To Loc fields. These fields are not mandatory and don't show while doiing Receipts for OU2 POs using the same Mobile PO Receipt Page. Has anyone faced this issue? If so could you please share your resolution?

Percentage of Phones won't register after CUCM 9.1.2 Sub and TFTP failover

Hoping this has happened to someone else and they can shed some light on the subject. I have a CUCM 9.1.2 cluster running, pub, 2 subs, and 2 tftp servers. At the moment it's a small deployment so I have all phones registered to sub 01 as primary and using tftp01 as the primary tftp server. In order to have some VMWare maintenance done I recently shut down the pub, primary sub and primary tftp server forcing the phones to use the other half of the cluster. Everything there worked as expected, phones failed over, etc. The problem occurred after the VMWare maintenance was done. At that point I brought up the Pub and the primary sub (maintenance wasn't yet completed on the host that contained the primary tftp server). After the primary sub was up and back online is where the problem started. Random phones (all 8945 SIP that are all running the same firmware version SIP8941_8945.9-3-2-12) would just not register. Some of them would show registered in CUCM, however they were non-functional as DNs weren't displayed, no dial tone, etc. Others would just not register all together. In order to get a phone to register I had to perform a factory reset on the physical phone, if I did that they came back with no problem. Later after the maintenance was completed on the host that contained the primary tftp server and I brought that back online, I still had issues with phones however just a power cycle was enough to get those phones registered. I opened a TAC case one this but it ended up at packet captures and at that point ever phone I reset would just register correctly so I could never get an example of a phone that wouldn't register.
I'm convinced it's certificate related and having to do with the trust list, which is why I believe the factory reset on the phone would allow the phone to correctly register. There just doesn't seem to be any clear indication as to why it would be certificate related. Names weren't changed on any of the UC servers, VMWare version was upgraded from 5.0 to 5.1 but I can't see how that would have caused certificate issues.
Any help would be grateful or if this has also happened to anyone I'd love to hear what you did to resolve this as for future maintenance windows I have to be confident that phones will be able to fail over between cluster nodes.

So the phone is unable to authenticate the ITL it is getting or the new config file. This could mean that the ITL is corrupt on one of the nodes or that TVS isn't working properly.
I would try running "show itl" on each node and check the bottom of the output to see if the ITL is verified successfully.
I would also make sure TVS is running on all nodes okay.
You also should be able to just delete the ITL from the affected phones rather than doing a full factory reset in case this comes up again.

Swap roles Pub to Sub and Vica Versa

Is there a way to swap roles between two CUCM servers in a single cluster?

Could you just do a physical move of the VMs and then re-IP them?

The only problem is, I was wondering if any autotechs were familiar with my car make and installation procedures. My car make is a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L v6. My car has a stock subwoofer and i'm planning on using OEM head unit.

I have a customer with this same problem, we use to use the Callmanager Recovery DVD, as Amine said, to recover the HD. But some times reseting the server resolved the problem.

IPod to TV AND Amp - HUM

as soon as I have video to TV & audio jacks to my Musical Fidelity X-150 amp (Apple A/V cable), the low hum is there - I tried S-video to scart/Audio line-out to Amp through a 4th gen dock too, same thing - either on their own work fine though - - i take the TV jack out of TV and leave audio ones in amp, no hum. - - so it seems my ipod to TV & amp simultaneously triggers it - whats up??!

As a field service tech for a cable company, I have seen this a few times. Generally, it's a not so great ground in the equipment you are hooking up to (your amp.) However, it could be a bad ground to your CATV system. There really isn't an easy way for you to check this. I mean, you could go look on the side of the house to see if it is connected, but you may not know what you are looking for. I'd call the cable company and see if they do free service calls. I'd call and say that you have reasons to believe that you CATV system isn't grounded. Make sure you're at home when the appointment is scheduled for and explain what's going on to the tech. If it is a CATV grounding issue, he has to fix it, per the National Electric Code. Just a FYI, though, in 9 years of CATV work, I have only seen this fix the problem once. As I said before, it's usually the amp itself. Hope this helps.
