Hi Sasi,
Dependent requirement  -1500 Nos
OPen order                 -500 nos
Balance                        500 nos  during MRP run it will throw PR to convert into P.O.
It is giving message stating that the schedule date for the open P.O - 500 is on  Aug to reschedule in May.
It is perfect ,there is nothing Wrong.
It will not throw P.R for  1500 Nos , If you want P.R for  1500 nos ,close the P.O and rerun the MRP you will get 1500 nos

  • Error in Quantity Reconciliation in  Sub Contracting Return

    Dear Friends
In a case of sub contracting return, we are taking the material X back from the vendor through MT 542. Now we are trying to do quantity reconciliation for X from J1IFQ.We filled up the assignment quantity , which is a column , just beside the column open quantity. The system is showing an error that
"Material X is not assigned fully, short by 43.500 KG
    Message no. 8I574
But th assigned quantity is exactly equal to the open quantity
Pls tell me how to do reconciliation in this case?
    Thanks
    Chandra

    Dear Chandra,
Pl check status of material documenty in J_1IGRXSUB table and compare it with respective Table entries in MSEG & J_1IEXCDTL table.
Check wheter  scrap qty is maintained.
If you dont get any difference then revert the Reconciled entry by J1IFQ by doing qty zero gainst challan. And then again reconcile the document with same challan number.

  • Open Order Quantity in Contracts

    Dear Gurus
I am trying to create a report which will show the Open Order quantity of SD Contracts.
This being the figure of the target quantity less the called off quantity.
Please advise on the best method of getting this information, I can see the cumulative order total in the contracts but this is held in a structure (RV45a- KWMENG) and I am struggling to get this information into a report
    Many thanks
    Tony

    Hi Tony,
To the best of my knowledge you will not be able to read value into your report from RV45A- KWMENG. To get this value you need to first fetch the list of subsequent SD documents from VBFA table. Later you need check status of those documents both at header and item/s level using VBUK and VBUP. If you find the open items for documents you need to sum up all those quantities to arrive at a open quantity for the contract using tables VBAK and VBAP
Please keep in mind performance issues which may arrive in this process as it deals with linking of 5 tables. You may need additional database index for the table VBAK (Thanks to check on this point).
Below information may be useful to activate the index:
To activate the index, proceed as follows:
    1. Call transaction SE11 and enter the database table VBAK. Choose "Display" and then select "Goto -> Indexes" (Ctrl+F5) in the menu.
    2. Double-click the entry I01.
    3. Change the option to "Index on all database systems".
    4. Activate the index (Ctrl+F3).
    5. You must collect the database statistics for the index so that the optimizer can recognize the index (transaction DB20).
    Hope this helps you.

  • Open Order quantity in Release order of Contracts

    Hi all,
We are developing new PO format for Release Order ( Contract) where in we want to print the Open order quantity & Open order value along with Contract number.
What is the best logic for Open order quantity, where in it has consider all the previous release order quantities minus the target quantity in contract.
Open order quantity = target quantity in contract - all previously release order quantities.
    Thanks in advance.
    MM
    MM

    hai sajid,
    As u said,
open order quantity = total quantity in contract - total quantity released against that contract ( Through release orders )
    it is right,

  • Quantity reconcilation of sub-contracting challan error

    Hi Experts,
I am facing problem while doing Quantity reconcilation of sub-contracting challan.
Challan material is different from material document
    Message no. 8I572
    Thanks in advance

    hi..
please go to spro>log general>tax on goods movement>india>business transaction>subcontracting>maintain movment type group
    and maintain as given
    0001 102
    0001 122
    0001 541
    0001 544 O
    0002 542
    0002 543 O
    and
Also This can be solved as under. ( check for following also)
You will have to activate PO number as a required field for 541 mvmt.
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory ->
Goods Issue / Transfer Postings -> Define Screen Layout.
For movement type 541 the purchase order field has to be maintained as
an optional entry or as a required entry here. (under normal condition it will be suppressed)
This has not been done, otherwise the error message would appear as the mseg-ebeln would not hold the PO number.
After doing this carryout a new cycle. you will not get any error.

  • Check on open target quantity (contract/agreement)

    Hi
We would like a check on open target quantity on the contracts assigned to a pur. req. when this is converted (ME58). If the open target quantity larger than pur. req. quantity then we want a new pur req. to be created for the next contract in the source list.
Do any of you know if there is something standard we can use there?
    thanks!

    Hi
    Thanks for your answers!
I can't use Quota arrangement, because I wish to use up the first contract from supplier 1 and then switch to contract for supplier 2. I do not wish to supply from both at the same time.
Regarding the meassage about that contract is exceed will not work either because contracts are made by different organization.
We want some automatic in case of If the open target quantity larger than pur. req. quantity that will recalculate the pur. req. to the remaining quatity of the contract and create new pur. req. to the next contract.
I hoped that there was a standard solutionf for that.

  • Open Target Quantity and Open Target Value in Contract

    Hi,
When we execute transaction 'ME3N', it displays the report which is having columns as 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'. I have the similar requirement to read this 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'  of contract.
Is there any table which stores these values or is there any function module which gives the value of 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'.
    Thanks,
    Siddhi

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.
I tried to find that way too. But I was not able to get the table / field for 'Open Target Quantity' or 'Open Target Value'.
Now, I am looking for the logic to get the 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value' in contract.
Can anybody please help me with getting this logic?

  • Sub contracting PO - MB1B - Accepts more than PO Quantity

    Hi Gurus,
I made a Sub-contracting PO with BOM components. During the transfer of BOM components to vendor (MB1B - 541), the system accepts to transfer more than PO quantity to transfer.
How can we restrict this transfered quantity should not exceed PO BOM components quantity.
    Regards,
    VB

SAP does not store the PO number anywhere as a reference for the delivery/movement from your location to the subcontractor. Hence you have technically not really a chance to restrict it.
It might be possible with a user exit to check whether the the current quantity in the movement exceeds the compónent quantity. But if you do the same movement again in the next minute, then it will pass.
If you create a Z-table where you store the reference and the transferred quantity per PO, then you might  be able to achieve your goal.
I personally like the SAP design as it fits to our requirements. we are a chemical company, to produce a certain finished material we need for example 23 kg of a component, however this component is packaged in a 50 kg drum.
we do not repack the component into smaller drums just to get the exact quantity to the subcontractor. we send the full drum, which would not be possible with your wanted restriction.
Our subcontractor does not just a one-time event of subcontracting, it is a recurring business, maybe 10 orders per month.
So it saves a lot freight costs to ship components for one or two month production to the subcontractor, even prior to any PO.
And we do not loose any money by sending more material, the stock at the subcontractor is our stock, is owned by us, it is not a gift that is given for free to a  subcontractor

  • Standard report to extract contract open quantity

    Dear Expert,
I'm facing this problem: I'm using ME80RN to extract information about contracts but I can't find in the field catalogue the "open Target Quantity" field. I know I can find it in ME3L/M but the format it extracts data is not compliance with my needs.
Do you know if I can use other standard report?
    Thank you in advance,
    Fuffo

ME3M/L use with scope of list ALV. it will help you to download in excel format
There is no other report apart from the above, You need to go for ABAP development

  • MIGO Error against SUB-Contract LB031

    Hi Expert,
i have a Sub-contract scenario, both material and component under this material are managed with HU.
    step is:
    1. Create a sub-contract PO ME21N
    2. Create a delivery to Vendor for this component via ME2O
    3. G/R against this sub-contract PO MIGO
    4. Create a TO against the inbound Delivery Note which create in Step 3 LT0F;
    5. Confirm TO LT11;
    6. Post good receipt against Delivery note which create in Step 3 VL32N
then there is a error message "Of the required quantity of material H000003786, 2.000 EA remain(s) open
    Message no. LB031"
I checked there is enough component stock under vendor in MMBE.
    Can anybody help me?
    Much appreciate.
    Rocky

    Hi All,
    Thanks for your reply.
+"what is the PO quantity? what is the receipt quantity? is H000003786 the material you ordered or the material that is consumed?
what is the percentage of this material in your BOM if it is the component?"
PO is 5000EA, and receipt quantity is 1 EA.
    BOM structure is:
         1EA  F0000007677 map 1EA H000003786 (Include 2% component scrap)
    So 1 EA F00007677 G/R requires 2 EA H0000003786. And i need to backflush 2EA H0000003786.
You are talking about PGI and saying you have created TO in LT0F !! (which is for inbound delivery Putaway) !! Iam asking you to create a TO in LT03 and confirm. How do you issue your goods in IM? You have to create and confirm the TO for the same transaction. Pls be clear and revert.
When i do G/R, only Inbound Delivery note is generated, so i can only to create TO via LT0F. How can i create outbound Delivery Note during MIGO transaction?
    Thank
    Rocky

  • Sub-contracting P.O

    Hi All,
We have created sub-contracting P.O and while doing ME2O- create delivery.  We are getting below error msg.
Depending on the category of the delivery being created, the system needs the following transfer data:
        o   Outbound delivery
            -   Shipping point, Sales organization,Distribution channel
                 Division,Material number,Delivery quantity,Ship-to party
                  Base unit of measure
    Inbound delivery
Base unit of measure,Conversion factors for converting base and sales units (not for creating/replicating an inbound delivery in a decentralized Warehouse Management system)
Goods receiving point (shipping point) when a delivery is
        created in decentralized WM
Outbound and inbound deliveries from goods movements
    Shipping point
          -   Sales organization,Distribution channel,Division,Material number,Delivery quantity,Ship-to party,Base unit of measure
Plant and sales unit transfer data is always mandatory.
Please Anybody can tell me what configuration we have to do.
    Thanks and Regards
    Chandru

You have to set up the shipping details just as you would do for a stock transport order with transfer posting happening through SD route. You have to set the delivery type for this document and the material should have sales/shipping data. Only then will the system be able to pick up the delivery type & thus create a delivery.
This is given in detail in help.sap.com -
From SC Stock Monitoring for Vendor as a Delivery via Shipping
From the SC Stock Monitoring for Vendor list, you can also create a delivery via Shipping. The advantage of this procedure is that you have shipping documents and delivery notes for the shipment of the materials to be provided to the subcontractor (refer to  Goods Movements via Shipping)
To create a delivery, the following data has to be maintained in the system:
the plant must be assigned a sales organization, a distribution channel, and a division. You can define this in Customizing for Purchasing, in the step Set Up Stock Transport Order.
A delivery type has to be defined for the plant from which the items are to be delivered. You can define this in Customizing for Purchasing, in the step Set Up Subcontract Order.
If you want to reference a reservation when you create a delivery, you also have to set the Predecessor necessary indicator to L (Provision to subcontractor necessary) when defining the delivery type. This means that the requirements generated by the reservations can be correctly offset against the deliveries created. You can define this in Customizing for Shipping, in the step Define Delivery Types.
The vendor for the stock with subcontractor must be entered as the customer in the organizational units in the delivering plant, such as sales organization, distribution channel, and division.
The material to be provided has to be entered for the organizational units in the delivering plant, such as sales organization, distribution channel, and division.
The combination of shipping condition (from the subcontractoru2019s customer master record), loading group (from the material master record for the components to be provided), and the plant have to be assigned to a shipping point. You can define this in Customizing for Shipping, in the step Assign Shipping Points.
To create a delivery, choose Edit ® Create delivery. A dialog box appears, in which you can enter the data required to post the delivery. The system posts the delivery in the background and, after posting, it informs you in a dialog box how many items were posted.

  • Sub Contracting Challan Error during Reconcillation

    Dear All
While doing Sub Contracting quantity reconcilation in J1IFQ i am getting the following error."Challan material is different from material document"
I am entering the correct (101)material document only. In MIGO itself i have reffered challan number. But still iam getting the error.I am working in ECC 6.00.
    Kindly guidr me.
    Thanks
    Shobana

    hi,
Go to OMJJ, select the field "movement type" and press enter
Enter movement type "311" and double click on "Field selection (Enjoy)" under Dialog Structure on left side.
here "New Entries" and add field "LIFNR" (Vendor)
Now in MIGO, at the time of transfer posting of components using movement type "311 P", specify the vendor code of the Subcontracting PO (i.e. Subcontractor)
Now create Subcontracting Challan in J1IF01 for material document of 311 P movement type.
Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups > here for Movement Type Group "0001", Movement Type "311 P" should be maintained.
Then do GR against PO and refer the Subcontracting Challan here.
And then do reconciliation in J1IFQ for the GR Document against Subcontracting Challan.
Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups > here for Movement Type Group "0002", Movement Type "543 P" should be maintained.
