Sub menu theme in revolution

I am creating project with chapters in Revolution theme.
The title of the clip revolves around the image in the rotating cylinder within the main menu and the sub menu.
But when I go into the chapters submenu the words say <chapters revolution> not the title.
How can the title be shown on these next levels?
Thanks!

This is from iDVD Help:
+_Adding text to a menu_+
+You can add nonclickable text (or a “text object”)—including titles, descriptions, personal commentary, and so on—to any menu. You can add as many lines of text as will comfortably fit on the menu and position it where you want.+
+By default, the style for text added to a menu is the same as the default style of the menu title (that is, the text style that comes with the theme you have chosen). However, you can easily customize the typeface, font size, font style, and color of the text you add. Also, each text object on your menu can have a different appearance.+
+To add text to a menu:+
+Make sure the menu to which you want to add text is showing in the iDVD window.+
+Choose Project > Add Text.+
+The phrase “Click to edit” appears on the menu.+
+Click the text once to highlight it, and then type the new text.+
+An in-place control appears below the text. It has controls for changing the typeface, font style, and font size of the text. You can make changes if you want, or click on the menu outside the text to make the in-place editor disappear.+
+With the text still selected, drag the text to the place you want it on the menu.+
I hope this helps.

  • IDVD 08 Change text in scene selection sub menu

    Created a project in iMovie08 (prolly for the last time, switching to HD), exported to quicktime, imported to garage band, chaptered and added audio in garage band, shared to iDVD, iDVD created Scene Selection sub menu (phew.....thats intuative). When you go to the sub menu, it says "Revolution". How do you change that text to something that relates to the project instead of the style of the tool???

    I seem to be the guru for this issue.
    While you're on that menu, expand the theme and click on the different menu types. Then try to change the text.
    Maybe it's time for a bug report: http://www.apple.com/feedback/idvd.html

    Hi!
    I was trying to learn how to use Automator, in the web page

    and I realize that I can't access in Finder Contextual Menu the sub-menu named More for choose Automator > Create Workflow... from the sub-menu.
    Someone can help me to configure the finder in order to

    That page is out of date since it doesn't reflect the change in Snow Leopard that did away with the More contextual menu. Try this. System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts->Services->Development->enable Create Workflow. Close the prefPane, select the object, CONTROL-click->Services->Create Workflow.
    If that solves your issue, then send a message to the page's developer and ask them to update it.

    The stack sub menu does not enable for stacked photos in elements organizer 13 on windows 8.1.
    Has anyone else experienced this?
    I stacked some photos, now I cannot expand them or unstack them in the organizer.
    This is for both auto and manual stacking.

    Please press Ctrl+D to move to the older grid and now the stack option should be enabled.
    Thanks,

  • MouseListener for mousedown function in sub-menu buttons

    Hello people, sorry to ask this as i am quite new to using AS
    in flash, im using AS2.
    Basically i have a menu which appears on a mouseover on a
    button, on this menu i have some buttons. These buttons need to
    have the function that when the user clicks and holds down the
    mouse button it moves through an animation frame by frame.
    i understand the basica principal of:
    var mouseListener:object = newObject ();
    then calling it
    mouseListener.onMouseDown = function() {
    imgBar.prevFrame();
    if you see my attached code you will see this is basically
    it, i will attach the code that i have on the top level of my flash
    file, the onPress functions currently work but i need them replaced
    with onMouseDown.
    As i said i am quite new to this so i appologise if this is a
    noobish error.
    Thanks for you time and help.

    I'm not sure what "i-apps" is. Could you let me know?
    iPhoto, iTunes, iDVD, iMovie, etc.
    I tried to do the two suggestions at the link from Glo H. First, I dragged out the song and then the background music that was in there. When I clicked on the black audio icon, no sound waves appeared.
    I think it is just this sub-menu in this one particular theme that is having a problem.
    Drag the music of your choice to the audio well, and look at the slider for menu volume. Is it to the far left, for "minimum"? If it is, move it to the middle.
    If the problem persists, give this basic remedy a try. Quit iDVD and delete your iDVD preferences. To do this, go to your username> library> preferences> com.apple.idvd.plist. Delete this file. Then reopen iDVD; it will create a new preference file with all of the default settings.

  • Cursor selection does not follow chapter order on sub-menu

    I used iMovieHD6 to add chapter markers to my large DVD project. They "shared" very nicely into iDVD8 and the Chapter Selection sub-menus were created nicely.
    The problem is that when I use the cursor arrows on the DVD remote (real or virtual, in or out of iDVD), the highlight jumps around the sub-menu items rather than moving in a logical order. For example, I have 4 sub-menus with 6 chapters in each. Let's use numbers for them starting with the upper left they are 1,2,3 and then at the lower left they begin 4,5,6. I am using the Reflection White theme. When I press the right remote cursor button it will move from 1 to 2 to 5 to 6 to 3 to 4 and back to 1. Note that this order is not the same for each sub-menu, but none of them go 1,2,3,4,5,6.
    I don't know what might be wrong or how to correct it, but I have a really big project that is otherwise perfect and I'd really like to get it out, please help!
    Thanks.

    I just wanted to add this before closing this topic.
    After poking around with the Reflection theme I better understood what Len was talking about. It appears that there are no modifiable parameters in the theme itself that control the order of cursor's motion through the buttons. That I assume is hard-coded into iDVD and follows a pre-programmed logic.
    The point of failure is the position and orientation of the buttons in the Reflection theme's sub-menus when added automatically. They are made to look to the viewer as though they are set on an angled surface and viewed at an angle from above. While our brains can process this effect nicely, iDVD's cursor logic doesn't fare as well.
    The work-around is fairly simple: Realizing that iDVD treats all chapter buttons as though they are two-dimensional objects on a flat surface, you must re-arrange them so that from top-left to bottom-right they follow a logical order, with the first buttons higher and farther left than the later-selected buttons. You don't have to move them very far to get the desired result and it doesn't have to affect the overall appearance of the menu in a noticeable way.
    A slight rearrangement in my case left the overall look of the chapter menu the same but yielded a zig-zag flow through the buttons as follows:
    [1] [3] [5]
    [2] [4] [6]
    Pressing the right cursor key jumps from top left to bottom left to top center then bottom center then top right and finally bottom right before going back to the start. Granted this is not quite "right" in that if iDVD could "see" the menu the way my brain does it would go left to right across the upper row of buttons rather than zig-zagging, but I figure that as long as the user can understand how to get to the button they want it'll be fine.
    If you really need your menu selection to move linearly left to right with those arrows and with the up/down arrow used to move it vertically, then you have to arrange the buttons on the menu in a rectangular pattern with the top of each row of buttons all in a nice horizontal line. Note that's not the same as the alignment line that Reflection provides for you, it's a true horizontal line in relation to the monitor screen.
    I'd much prefer that iDVD revisit the logic of the cursor control code, perhaps adding the choice of allowing the numerical sequence of the chapters to dictate the order of the cursor's motion rather than their relative position on the screen, but since they don't call me for advice, the above will likely have to do.

  • How do I make a "play all" in a sub menu folder?

    I am arciving my homevideos onto dvds. and I make sub menues of each day of recorded movies. but as default I will have to play all the files in the sub menufolder manually.
    How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders?
    or is there an other way to make them all play one after the other?

    How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders?How can I apply a "play all" to these sub menu folders?
    Possible with DVDSP (part of apple's FCS 2) as well as with a third party app called Roxio Toast but not iDvd'08 (in terms of sub menus) .... But there is a work around in that the slideshow area/s which are mainly intended for stills now address movies too since apple incorporated this into iDvd with its latest version.
    or is there an other way to make them all play one after the other?
    Suggestion: use the slideshow feature in iDvd'08. It now can address photos as well as movies and the added benefit is that it will scale both to the TV Safe area. Much cleaner this way IMO.

  • How to move over text in a sub-menu --

    Hi - I hope someone can help me because I'm stumped.  In my previous post:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1669049?sr=stream
    ...the forum team helped me figure out how to fix bullets in a list.  But now someone else brought it to my attention and I tried to fix it but cannot figure it out.  Now the sub-menu words are way too close to the left edge of the main navigation:
    So I'm not sure what to do to leave the bullet lists, which work great, alone but how to fix those sub-menu words to move them over to the right away from the left edge.  Here's the main CSS file and the change I made from the previous post starts at line 432:
    https://dev3.orr.noaa.gov/sites/all/themes/creative-responsive-theme/style.css
    Any ideas?  Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks.

    Hi Ken,
    The reason why the -11 is there is because in a previous post:
    Bullets in list aren't displaying - can't figure out why
    I added it to fix the bullet lists so that the text wraps and the bullet lists line up like they should.  When I added it, though, it's now affecting the navigation.
    UPDATE - I was able to pinpoint the exact code that affects the sub-menu text.  The code is the CSS file is:
    #main-menu li li a {
      color: #C5C5C5;
      min-width: 150px;
      margin: 0;
      background: #1e272e;
      border-top: 1px solid #333;
      font-size: 11px;
      text-align: left;
      overflow: hidden;
      padding: 3% 5%;
      font-weight: normal;
    The way I confirmed that the above code is what I need to fix is I changed the font size to 16, just to see what would happen and here is the result I got:
    So that above code seems to be the code that will affect the layout of the sub-menu words that I'm trying to move over a little bit from the left margin.  Then I tried to tweak the margin and padding.  I first added 10px to the left margin like this (margin: 0 0 0 10px) and that did not work.  I then tried to add 1% to the padding and that did not work either.  So I'm really stumped about how to move those sub-menu words over from the left a little bit.  Any ideas?

  • Adding VIRTUAL TOUR to DVD sub-menu

    I'm creating a recruitment DVD for a seminary, and they've asked me to add some of their virtual tour files in a sub-menu on the DVD. I know these virtual tour files require a plug-in to play them from the internet, is there anyway for them to play from a DVD?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    kt

    The plug-in woulld have to be installed on the users computer (won't work on a DVD Player) then they can open the tour up. You can try linking to it from the DVD, but sometimes things are not relaible.
    The easiest way would be to include the plug-in on the DVD (if permissable) as part of a DVD-ROM folder then put a menu saying something along the lines of if you want to see the virtual tour, go to the folder called "xxxx," install the plug-in called "xxxx" from the folder and click on the item called "xxxx"

  • Sub-menu creation for Chapters

    Hi,
    I have made a film and I have added chapters to the film using the software SimpleMovieX. When I tried to add the film to an iDVD project the chapters of the film do know show in iDVD. Nor does iDVD automatically create a sub-menu for the chapters. I have ensured that the box is checked for 'chapter sub-menu'.
    I was wondering if it something do with the fact I created the chapters with SimpleMovieX. I was wondering if I should re-save the movie through Quicktime or 'something'.
    Thanks,
    Martin

    Where did you create this film? If in iMovie, you add chapter markers there. Ifd you export out of iMovie as a QuickTime Full Quality, it will remove the chapter markers. You have to Send to iDVD to preserve them, or drag the iMovie project file into a new iDVD project.
