Sub-Order Cost Flow In Main Order.

How to flow sub-order cost in to main maintenance order, so i can see the sub order cost in the header order(Plant maintenance). kindly suggest me.

You first need to ensure that your Settlement Profile (assigned to your order type) can settle to an "order". Once this is done you will e able to create a settlement rule in the sub-order(s) to settle to the main order.
Furthermore, you can then also set the default settlement rule for a sub-order in the IMG: Settlement Rule: Define Time and Creation of Distribution Rule

Main Order TECO when Sub-Order is open

Dear All,
I just wanted to clarify if we can do TECO of Main Order when Sub-Order is open? If we can control this using any settings.
Presently it is not allowing to do TECO of Main Order as long as Sub-Orders are open.

The Main Order Cannot be set to TECO If any sub order exists for the Main Order and have not been completed. When Teco-ing the main order without having completed the sub order the system would show you the following message: Open Sub Orders Exist for the Order (IW 189). To avoid this for example if you want to allow the Technical Completion of the Main Order with its sub orders as open, then
Go To SPRO-->Plant Maintenance -> Maintenance and Service Processing-> Maintenance and Service Orders-->Message Control
Here look for the message IW 189 and change its category from E (Error) to W (Warning) or No Message. This would solve your problem.

Issue in settlement of sub orders to WBS Element

Hi Team,
Request your help in getting the below issue resolved:
Our client would like to have the sub order cost details to be settled to the superior order settlement reciever (In our case it is WBS). So we have changed the configuration in the Distribution rule in SPRO to "DIstribution Rule from Main Order". With this change the WBS Settlement receiver is getting populated automatically during release of the sub order. But when we are trying to do the settlement in KO88 we get a message that "Either the order is settled or there is nothing to settle". Please let us know incase of any setting being missed out.

IW36 bdc is not updating CU tab for sub order

Hello Everyone,
I am facing one strange problem.
I am creating a Main work order using IW31 bdc and in the same program i run the IW36 bdc for sub order creation for the main WO created. In this case when I create a Main WO, CU tab gets updated with a default row.
When I keep the mode 'A' and check the BDC of IW36 it takes me to the CU tab sceen and updates the row same as in Main WO. and it creates the Sub Order.
But when I check the Sub Order using IW32 tcode, I dont find the updated row in CU tab .. rather I find it blank.
Please help me to find out why its happening and what should be the soultion..

In V/08, I have selected the Z condition type created in the system and than selecting that, navigated to CONTROL folder.
Now in front of the Z condition type in CALCULATION TYPE field the number of the routine is given (Which is created using VOFM).
Now what else I need to do?

Yes Madhu. Routine is activated and control is stopping if break point given in the routine. In this routine I am trying to populate a value in its XKOMV internal table's KBETR field but when VA01's main CONDITIONS TABS screen comes the value is not appearing.

PM Sub Order Link with Superior Order

Hi Experts,
Please explain in brief the scenario of Sub Order concept
I am trying to use this scenario if we couldn't able to perform number of activities which is in Superior order
I am copiying those activities in Sub Order and deleting those activities from Superior order
And i am changing the date in sub order which is in future (i.e in main order date is 07.06.2014 and in sub order i am chnaging the date is 070.07.2014)
It means further activities i will do in next month date.
Correct if i am wrong
And please explain the effect in report IW49N , Sub Number , Sub Operation , Superior Activity not showing and
Sub Order is showing in Order and my main order showing in Super Order
For Super Order Activity not able to seen.
Please help which report we can refer to check where we can see activities for both orders along with date.

Assignment between Sub Order & Superior Order is at header level, not at operation level.
Also, functionality of having Sub Order & Superior Order is to have the relationships between the orders which have been created for hierarchical technical objects. IW40 is Multi level list that may show the superior order, but not IW37N / IW37 / IW49 / IW49N.
As mentioned before, you have to develop a custom report.
Hope, cutting the operations in one order & pasting that in another is being done manually. Also, you can see both Superior order & Sub order in IW49N.

Automatic Sub Order confirmation in Collective Order

Hello, I am using collective order, and have the 'HEADER' order and all child orders released. Our requirement is that once the Main Header order is reported confirmed, ALL child production orders should be auto confirmed as well. (we could have MANY child orders under the header order). I tried using the OPKI setting for collective entry to 'Order Header' but it is greyed out in the change mode during config. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

If you're doing the confirmation of parent order (leading order) at header level (meaning you use CO15) then you can only confirm that particular order and not any child order. If you want the child orders to be confirmed also after completely confirming you'd have to change the control key of last operation of routing in leading material as milestone and use CO11 or CO11N and just confirm the last operation, it will automatically confirm all the operations in the leading order and all the sub orders (child orders). I don't think your OPKI setting will solve the issue.
Production orders that belong to collective orders are generally confirmed like normal production orders. However, you should note the following:
    When you carry out a confirmation at header or suboperation level, you can only confirm the order concerned.
    When you confirm at operation level, you can confirm operations for all orders as long as you work with milestone operations or progress confirmations.
    When there is a confirmation in the collective order, the system sets the status CFCO (release occurred in network) at the header level of the leading order in the collective order.

What issue? Those results are perfectly acceptable under certain business scenarios.
Your sched start/finish implies that your routing has no duration being calculated during the schedule process. If this is your issue, look at the various forumulas attached to the scheduling tab of your work center(s)(CR03).

Collective Order good moviement 101 - 261 ( sub - order )

Dear gurus,
i inserted in the HALB component the special procurement (52) and the Type procurement = E
I created a production order for the Material Fert and the system create a collective order .
Order 0001 for the FERT material and the order 0002 for the HALB material.
When we confim the order 0002 the system don't create a good moviment 101 for the HALB component and the MD04 don't exist . In the production order 0002 the issue quantity is 5 pz but we don't see the stock in the MD04.
I need to have the moviment 101 for the sub order .
How i can have this situation of good moviment ? You can tell me the example of movimentation for the collective order ?
Where we can find the information of this collective order ?

Dear,
Within a collective order stock movements only take place for the leading order (that is, the order that is at the highest production level) and not for directly produced components. This makes it easier to maintain the collective order in comparison with several individual orders. A further advantage is a more realistic representation of the costs of the production process, since subordinate orders can be directly assigned and settled to superior orders

User Exit : Auto Release Sub orders

Hello Gurus,
I want to automatically Release the sub orders when superior order is Release.
After I wrote to SCN, I came to know that In Standard, There is no provision to auto release or auto TECO or auto Business completion of Sub Orders based on Superior Order business transaction.
Can some one please correct the exit & condition I selected
On exit IWO10009 when saving the superior order
IF sy-tcode = 'IW32'.
SELECT AUFNR
FROM AFKO
WHERE MAUFNR = caufvd_imp-AUFNR
release_order = 'X'.
ENDIF.
If above exit is incorrect,Can I use Exit IWO10002
If above exit is correct,Can I same to auto Business complete the Sub Orders when Superior Order CLSD

Ashok,
I feel it is not IWO10002 but we need to try with User Exit for IWO10009 for your task. I'm unable to test the solution for you at present.
Clues are:
You need to use Function Module STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN in the Exit coding. The logic would be, when you release the Main Order and Save, system checks the System Status of Main Order, i.e., field CAUFVD_IMP-IPHAS. '2' is the value for REL status.
So the code will be like:
If CAUFVD_IMP-IPHAS = '2' .
CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN'
ENDIF.
COMMIT WORK.
In this FM, you will be passing the OBJNR value of SubOrder no. (get from AUFK table) and target status (perhaps I0002). (verify in TJ02 table).

Create PM Sub order from maintenance plan

Hi all,
Scenario is:
Right now client is making seperate order for related equipments like for motor,pump.and issuing the permits for them seperately.
But is there any way to generate order and related sub orders from maintenance plan for these related equipments,so that they can issue permit in single main order for all the related equipments using sub orders.
Is there any user exit for generating sub order from maintenance plan.

You can also use the path as follows.
Open the order in change (IW32 Transaction code) for which you want to create the sub-order.
Then follow the path as Order -
> Create Special -
> Suborder.
This will bring you on suborder creation screen (IW36) there superior order is copied from the order for which you have entered on this screen.

Creating Maintenance sub order - Reg

Hi all,
I am trying to create a maintenance sub order but the system is asking for the business area as it asks for the main order. But, even though the busines area is listed in the F4 entries, it is not getting accepted and the system is again asking for the mandatory business area. But the same business area is accepted in the mian order.
Please advice on this.

Sub Order not getting created

Hi All,
           i am debuggin a code which is creating SUB ORDER (iw36) through call transaction method.
The transaction is filling the superior oder ,but after OK CODE it doesnt navigate to the next screen, instead it shows a message log, without any messages.
In the debugging mode I could notice that it fails at the point where FM CO_ZF_ORDER_LOCK_MULTI is called in SAPLCOIH. The parameter 'NOT_LOCKED' is having 2 records, as a result of which the FM CM_F_ANALYSIS is getting called which displays the log.
Please guide me in understading why the sub order is not getting created.

Hi Gajesh,
1)                 The Work center does not exist , I checked it in IR02..
2)                 I created the sub order manually , but it works fine. There is no error when creating manually.. But whne it is called from the program it takes a wrong entry for Workcenter that does not exist. But when I change it to the existing Workcenter it proceeds further.
3) I want to know where in the program the KTEXT is being populated, as it is taking an entry that does not exist in the superior order, it is a new entry.

Basic start date and basic finish date in the maintenance sub-order

Hi guys,
when I create a maintenance sub-order by the transaction IW36 are the Basic start date and the Basic finish date taken,inherited from the principal Maintenance order?And if it is in this way,is there the possibility to put these two dates as a current day only on the maintenance sub-order ?Thanks in advance...

caufvd_exp-gltrp = sy-datum + lv_date_diff.

There is not any BAPI or released function module to create a sub-order.
Use of IW36 or batch input is the only option.
