Sub removed from my country - refund question

Has anyone ever come across a problem with subscriptions and refunds where the magazine was removed from the store before your sub was up?
I’m a yearly subscriber to the Newsstand app “Popular Science+”. Recently I noticed that the monthly subscription was late downloading. While trying to fix it I removed the app and all my downloaded issues, and tried to reinstall.
It’s only at this point that I noticed that the app was no longer available in the Australian iTunes store.
I contacted the publisher who confirmed that the magazine had been removed from the Australian store and wouldn’t be returning.
As I still have about 6 months of my subscription left they said I would need to contact Apple to get a refund.
My question is, what kind of refund should I be seeking. I’ve still got 6 months left, so should it be 50% of my yearly sub? But I’ve now lost access to the back issues that I had already paid for, so should I be seeking a 100% refund? I was under the impression that even if I ended my sub those back issues would always be available for me to download?

Yes it is annoying. I didn't mention in my original post, but it took some time to get into contact with US PopSci. The US website redirects to the Australian site, which is a different entitiy all together. I ended up having to use an overseas proxy to get to their support pages. Then there was the usual confusion while it was passed around, forgotten, repassed etc b4 they worked out what was wrong.
There no attempt from anyone, (US PopSci, Aus PopSci or Apple), to let me know the newsstand magazine I had paid for had been removed from my country. It was up to me to notice the lack of updates and chase it up.
US PopSci did try to make things right. They offered to transfer my sub to zinio. But it's not the same so I elected to get a refund from Apple. They gave me a percentage of the sub back based on how many months I had left, but I still lost access to the back issues I had already paid for. Zinio may be an option for you though.
It's a shame because I enjoyed the mag. Aus PopSci isn't as good and is really expensive.

In advanced options for the tab, 'Inherit Access Settings From The Page' is selected.
Under page access settings, the 'From page template' option is selected.

Country removed from subscription list

I was just wondering why Sierra Leone was removed from the subscription list. Sierra Leone is the only country that I call using skype, but there are cheaper ways to call if skype no longer provides that subscription. Skype's losing lots of business. Not just from me. From Peace corps families nation wide!

I must not be explaining this very well, and I apologize for that.
These are time sheets we're working with, so each user needs a certain set of people to approve and review his/her time sheets. The workflow we have running on each time sheet created reads which department the user is in, matches them with the row that
contains the field "department" that matches their department, and gives permission to all of the users in the remaining fields TS Approvers and TS Reviewers. If I update these fields at all, the new users in these fields get permissions for that department's
time sheets, but the people I removed from these fields do not stop getting permissions. It's as if there is a cached copy of the list which is being used by the workflow to assign permissions. This list will fluctuate, so it is not a viable solution to keep
running powershell scripts to remove people from each of these items after they have been removed from the list.

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.

Apple, a purchase I made with real money has been removed from the app store without notice. Kind of defeats the purpose of the cloud if I need to be certain to back up all my app files elsewhere for fear that Apple will remove purchased items without recompense.

This is correct. Content will only be in icloud f it is still available in the itunes store. It is your responsibility to backup your purchases.

No GTS block during delivery even country removed from licence

Hi,
We are using GTS 7.2.
When we create the order and if we remove the country from License still it allows to create the delivery and PGI.
During Delivery and PGI the GTS check should happen again and that is happening but it is taking the same license although the country is
already removed from it and delivery is getting posted.
We are missing any configuration here?.

Although it will be really great if you could elaborate the whole scenario in detail as to where you removed Country setting and other things as well.
But as a first note, it seems that you want a delivery license re-check. For that , in the SPRO-->Compliance Management-->Legal control settings area, you could check if the Legal Control re-check should happen again and how it should happen.
Secondly, you can check for the related setting at the Item Category Activation level as well in SAP GTS system's General Customizing settings area.
If you are using a new license for the delivery and feeling confused why it is not getting picked for the Delivery legal control check, then please check the Legal Control area in the Document Log to find out how the license is being determined and why not the desired license is being picked.

I'm thinking of upgrading my CS3 to CS5, but the CS3 license is bought from another country. So am I able to upgrade my CS3 to CS5 where CS3 is purchase in Asia Pacific and CS5 is purchase in US?
Hope can get answer soon, I'm urgently need to upgrade it but I dont want to purchase upgrade that wont work.

Hello, if those Question marks are in the Dock, it means OSX can't find them either.
Right click on the Q mark & choose Remove from Dock, might be Roght click or click, then Options>Remove from dock on later OSX versions.
Sometimes you can just drag it of the Dock, or CMD +drag it off.

Music Removed from My Music?

I'm a US Premium user using Spotify in Canada. I haven't changed my country or billing address in the settings. The other day I noticed songs were missing from both "My Music" and "Starred" playlists. About a dozen or so.
Among others, the songs were by X Ambassadors and Adam Lambert. All stuff that is sill available on Spotify - I just had to re-add them. I'm just confused how they got ghost-removed from my music and playlists. Any one else run into this problem?

Hey this was my first question ever on this forum, thanks for the quick reply ^_^ That's what I don't get. I've been in Canada for a few weeks. This happened just a few days ago. And the songs are still available - I just had to manually re-add them to "my music" and to various playlists (most "Starred"). I really hope this isn't a recurring problem because of bouncing around the border. Because, I often find myself bouncing between Canada and the USA.

The Beavis and Butthead episode "Holy Cornholio" (episode #4) has been removed from iTunes from the final season. I can download/view the other episodes I have purchased, but this one seems to no longer be in the iTunes database. What happened? How do I get a refund on the purchase if it is no longer going to be made available to those who purchased it??

You will need to ask the TV company why it's been removed, and whether they have any plans to put it back in your country's store - if you do get contact iTunes Support and if they reply you are likely to only be told that it's not in the store, and they won't know if it will be put back.

For loop stop in sub vi from main vi?

Hi! I want to control from my main vi a sub vi consisting of a stepped sine function generator. This sub vi has a for loop. The problem is that I want to have the option of terminating the loop in the sub vi from the main vi. I tryed using global variables or an event stucture. The problem is that, in both cases, the "stop" variable in my main vi is only updated after the loop terminates in the sub vi. Can anyone please help me? Thank you very much.

I have a new ipad mini with retina display, and cellular capability.
I've learned how to set up an account and use it in the US. I'm now traveling internationally and need to learn about changing the sim card.
My first question is about the notation under 'settings', Cellular Data, SIM PIN. Under SIM PIN, there is an option of turning on 'sim pin' and then entering a PIN to lock the SIM.
What does SIM PIN mean in the first place?
Where does the PIN number come from?

A SIM PIN, also referred to sometimes as a PUK Code is like a PIN number for your SIM card (just like your ATM Card). Since your SIM card has your cellular account on it and can be typically removed from one device and put into another, you can lock the SIM Card with a SIM PIN if you choose. If you activate the SIM PIN feature and forget your SIM PIN when you try to re-activate your device or a new device in the future using the same SIM Card, you may have to contact you carrier to get a new SIM Card. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1316
As far as changing the SIM Cards out because you want to use a new carrier, you can remove the SIM card fomr the old carrier and put in the SIM card form the new carrier. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5163
