Sub tab portelts not displaying

When I create sub tabs, the portlet on that tab does not display the first time it is diaplayed. I have to move to another sub tab and then back before it will display.
Has anyone seen this?

we're experiencing the same.
Environment:
Portal 3.0.6.6.5 on Sun Solaris
Test Case:
- set property 'display as portlet' for page (e.g. Oracle Portal Navigator)
- create tab in second region on test page (page has two vertical region)
- create page portlet on this tab for Oracle Portal Navigator (which has multiple tabs)
Then the first time the tab is render no content is displayed as described by David.

for one material, purchase order has done. when i am going to do migo against purchase order, the excise invoice & excise items tab is not displaying.
note:- for all other materials(purchase order), excise tab is displaying.
could you please solve this problem.

Hi,
Check the problem with repect to the material,
Check if the Tax % is assigned properly for the combination of tht material. check J1ID,
Is in the PO the excise amount calculated? Check the condition records?

As an FYI: Adobe discontinued developing the Spry framework last year. And Spry was removed from DW CC. You can keep using Spry if you wish, but most of us have switched to other solutions that work better in IE10 and Touch Screens.

SOLVED:Tabs is not displayed correctly?

I have a very strange problem which I can't really understand why APEX behaves it way it does (well I've probably told APEX to do so, but I can't understand why).
I have 3 Parent Tabs:
T_PAGE1
T_REPORTS
T_ADMIN
All of the Parent Tabs have one or more Standard Tabs associated to them. And each Standard Tab is associated with one or more pages.
But the strange thing is that I have associated page 3 with a std tab which then belongs to the T_REPORTS Parent Tab. If I run the page the Parent Tabs are not displayed at all, but the Standard Tab is (and also the breadcrumb). I did assign the tabs to the page when I created the page and I have retried the same thing a couple of times with the same result.
And if I run any other page in my application I can see the Parent Tabs and if I click on the Parent Tab (T_REPORTS) the Parent Tabs disappears and I only see the std tab.
Any ideas or is this completely confusing for you as it is for me ???

I should really make myself a martini and stop thinking that I can build APEX apps. The issue was that I had assigned my T_REPORTS Tab with the wrong Parent Tab. Doh!

My end user has created an asset P.O. Then while executing migo excise tab is not displaying. what is the fault, & where we have to correct it. its ur.

While doing MIGO transaction the excise tab will appear only if you mark your line item as OK in your MIGO item details.
Try to simulate MIGO by marking your item as OK then excise tab will appear & if the excise values are not flowing in the excise tab check the following
J1ID excise master
1. Plant - Material - Chapter ID combination
2. Vendor Plant Excise Details.
3. Excise Tax Rates for Chapter ID/Plant combination.
Check whether the rates are there in your PO or not?
Also check the whether you have maitained the Default excise condition types in SPRO/LG/Tax on Goods movements/India/ Basic Settings -Maintain Excise Defaults.

Excise Invoice Tab is not displaying in MIGO Display for 541 material docs.

Dear All,
Excise Invoice Tab is not getting displayed in MIGO Display for 541(Transfer posting to Vendor) material documents.
I did tranfer posting of some raw materials to the Vendor in MB1B with the movement type 541
and after that i have created a Subcontracting Challan with the reference of the above created transfer posting
material document.
Now i need the Sub contracting challan number to be displayed in the Excise Tab of the transfer posting material document.
But if i display the Transfer posting material document in MIGO, the Excise Tab is not getting displayed.
Kindly help on this so that i can view the Sub contracting challan number in the display of the respective Trasfer posting material document in MIGO.

Pls confirm if you are following the SC process sequence :

u2022     Creation of Subcontracting Challan w.r.t. Transfer Posting Doc (J1IF01) - This challan will have the details normally company needs, in case client need more ... ABAPer have to develop customized smart form
u2022     Goods Receipt w.r.t. Subcontracting PO and Refer Subcontracting Challan at the time of GR (MIGO) {GR with 101 and auto consumption of components with 543 movement}
u2022     Reconciliation of Subcontracting Challan (J1IFQ)
u2022     Completion of Subcontracting Challan (J1IF13)
u2022     Generation of Annexure IV (J1IFR

Safari 4 tabs do not display unread counts for GMail and Google Reader

To reproduce this, do the following:
1. Create a bookmark for either GMail or Google Reader
2. Click on the bookmark under Safari to load either site (make sure it has at least on unread item)
The text in the tab title will not display the unread count. Instead, it displays either "GMail" or "Google Reader". Firefox displays the unread counts for both sites in the tab's title text as follows: "Gmail - Inbox(2) - <email addr>", "Google Reader (2)".
This is the one of the main reasons why I will continue to use Firefox over Safari 4. Displaying the unread counts in the tab titles allows me quickly glance at the browser's window with both sites loaded in separate tabs to see if there are any unread items.

I was able to fix the problem by disabling Gmail Labs (you can always reenable them again).

Or go to Settings-Labs and you'll notice a link at the very top asking you if you want to kill all the labs if it breaks something on gmail...there's an escape hatch.

New tabs do not display

my firefox just updated today
all my existing tabs loaded correctly and are present, however I cannot make new tabs- they do not display or load by any command and i cannot toggle over to them when switching through existing tabs.
it is as if the new tab command is not executing a new tab now.
a site on an existing tab can create another tab, such as what mozilla did while i was searching for answers to this question, but i cannot make any new tabs via keyboard or menu command.
i need to make new tabs and not use existing tabs which are already in use!

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here... (reports by other affected users indicate that this might be caused by various toolbar addons)

"Add in" tab will not display on EXCEL

I am unable to get the "Add in" tab showing in MS EXCEL. We have tried adding the link in options, turning off security and still will not appear. Please can you advise?

Is it a third party add-in or a self-developed add-in? As cguan asked above, does it use custom toolbars?
As far as I know, the Add-Ins tab will only display if it uses custom toolbars. If there are no custom toolbars in any workbook or add-ins, the Add-Ins tab will not be displayed.

Hi all
I have created a tab page that link to a page. However, when I go to that page, the tab is not shown. I notice that the shared component->tabs for the page doesnt have anything.

Aaron,
Make sure that in the Page Properties, the Standard Tab Set property is set to the tab set you created. If the tab set is not set at the page, level, it won't display.

Excise Invoice Tab is not display in MIGO for Cancelled document

Hi,
We are execuating the incoming excise cycle then in MIGO and J1IEX.It is perfectly working.But in case of cancellation the excise tab is not dispplaying in MIGO.We are using option "Only Capture and Both Capture & Post".Whatever the excise captured and Posted , it is updated in Excise Invoice tab in MIGO.
As per my understanding the excise tab should come for cancelled doucment also.

You are correct it won'y come for 102 but it will come for 101.But it is not coming for 101 .It is not coming when we cancelled the document.

If it is not coming for 101 movement type
check following point
1) tax code in PO ,all excise condition should be there
2) Maintain chapter ID material combination in J1ID
3) Maintain Vendor and Plant excise details in J1ID

Excise tab page not displayed during goods receipt for material.

The issue is we are doing GR for a PO in MIGO.Now the excise tab page is displayed in case of all other matl except for one.The matl type is manufacturing matl for this particular matl.I have checked all the settings in J1ID, also checked the tax code they are ok.can anyone guide me with any other possible solutions to this.

On cross tab, sub totals are not displaying...

i build the cross tab report.

grandtotoal 143and when i applying subtotal and grand totals its returning nulls.
i tried sum,cell sum but didn't worked out.
and i am not suppose to use cellsum distinct (status_cnt is repeating.)
how i have to display subtotals and grand totals in my cross-tab report.
i am using OracleBI Discoverer Plus 10g (10.1.2.1)

try to cerate a new calc :
nvl(status_cnt,0)
and create the totals on it,
I think you got nulls in that column so it wont aggregate properly.

Excise invoice tab is not displaying in MIGO

Hi We have created MIGO document with excise details,every thing is fine at the time of MIGO posting,But, when i am trying to
display the material document through MIGO (display),excise details are not reflecting ( excise tab ),we are using ECC 6 EHP4
(604), and this is new implimentation.
Please advice any enhancement is missing or what could be the reason?

it will come,
at the time of MIGO internal number will generate,
again we will post the excise invoice wrf to internal number through J1IEX,
the above is for the option "only capture excise invoice",
even we can see the excise invoice tab , if we select the capture & post option.

eg:- when i received a material in MIGO with Excise Details, all are happening properly, but when i am going to see the Material Document in Display mode, that time i am not able to see Excise tab.
due to that problem, i am not able to post Excise invoice in system.

Hi,
You have two issues:
1. Capture excise in MIGO t.code
2.Display mode of Material Document , need to view Excise tab.
For 2nd issue you need get authorization for Display Material Document with excise details
For 1st issue follow setting:
As you needed excise to be capture in t.code:MIGO, you need to do following settings:
Select check boxes of "EI capture" & "Post EI in MIGO" in MIGO Settings segment in Maintaining Excise Group setting in following path:
SPRO --- >Logistics general - > tax on Goods Movements- >India --- >Basic setting --- >Maintain Excise Groups
NOTE: Also set "Duty different at GR" check box in case manual entry excises value in case of Dealer Invoice.
Also set entry of 101 Movement Type for capturing Excise Duties in following path:
SPRO --- >Logistics general - > tax on Goods Movements- >India - >Business Transactions->Specify Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices
