Subdivide a page?

Question

I would like to create a number of equal-sized small pages from one 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. I therefore need to subdivide a page into 12 (3 columns, 4 rows) with no margins either on the edges of the page or the inside (gutters?).
I can figure out how to add columns but no rows... This was so easy in Word and WordPerfect!?!

If I understand correctly that you want to make a layout of cards on a single page to be cut apart, and you want to use the entire page all the way to the edges, you will need a printer that can print borderless. So open a blank Layout page and set Borderless in Page Setup. Then go to the Document Inspector and set all margins to Zero and uncheck Headers and Footers. Next, View > Show Layout and then View > Show Rulers. You should now have a completely blank page.
Now move your pointer into the left side ruler, click, hold and drag into the page. You will see a blue line. This is an alignment guide and will not print. Drag it (and successive guides) to define the width of your cards. Now do the same in the top ruler and drag guides down to define the depth of your cards.
Now create your first card, using text boxes and graphics as desired. When complete, select all and group all the elements. Arrange > Group. Then copy and paste the card into the remaining spaces.
In the pertinent print menu adjust the borderless expansion to the minimum amount. Run a test print. You may have to make some minor adjustments because to print borderless your page will be expanded slightly. If you can’t print borderless, adjust your cards allowing for the minimum margin your printer requires.
A note about guides: If you have text present when you try to bring in a guide line, it won’t work when there is an active insertion point in the text. Click on a blank spot on the page first.
