Subfolders when syching photos?

i have over 4000 pics on my pc from my travels and from everyday life, i have them all categorized into folder (ex:2004,2005,2006) and in those folders i have categorized folders (ex april,march, trip to boston,trip to australia etc) when itunes synchs my pics, it doesint keep the folders so when i look at my 2006 folder on my ipod, i have to go through around 1000 pics and its kinda hard to find the pic i want, so my question is :is there anyway to make it so itunes keeps all the folders when synching???manualy or automaticly... my ipod is an 80g ipod video...

I have the same problem as mentioned, but I feel that this is something that Apple could release in a simple update/patch?
Basically, we are not asking ITunes to differentiate between different types of folders. All we need, is that it recognises sub folders. Without this, the Photo's function of the IPod is... well, to put it simply... useless.
I have a folder called Gap Year 2006, which contains sub folders with all the different countries I visited on my gap year, which then each contain sub folders of the various places I visited in those countries. There are hundreds of pictures all together, and without the IPod or ITunes being able to recognise sub folders, it's just one big mess.
Please, I ask simply on behalf of everyone with the same problem for Apple to spend some time on resolving this issue.

In past versions of Photoshop Elements you could exclude subfolders when importing photos from files and folders. In version 10 the "get photos from subfolders" is greyed out. I normally do not want to include subfolders when importing. I only want the top current folder. Why the change?

Just a further thought.
I have now tried versions 9 and 10 on a Windows 7 system and they both work the same. The "include subfolder" box is not active until I select a folder from the right side - selecting one on the left side doesn't activate it.
Which operating system are you using?
Did you change operating systems when you changed to PSE 10?

I want to transfer my photos from the PC (windows explorer) to my Ipad. The problem is that a keep my photos in different categories and they are in one large folder and several subfolders (2 or 3 levels of subfolders).When I sent it to the Ipad, it just respect the first level of folder. After the first subfolder, all the photos are mixed. Any idea how to keep my original organization just transferring from PC to the Ipad (folder having a subfolder also having another subfolder)?

The Photos app doesn't currently support subfolders, it only has the one level of folder/album. You will either need to change your folder structure on your computer to be just one level, see if there is a third-party photo app in the store that copes with subfolders, or just make do. Bridge Does Not Automatically Bring Up Photoshop When the Photo is Double-Clicked

I have just purchased CS4 with Bridge for my new MacIntosh. In Bridge for the PC, when I double click a photo it automatically brings up Photoshop. On the Mac version, it gives me an error message saying that part of the application is not loaded. I completely uninstalled the program, and reloaded the application and still get the same message. So in Bridge on the Mac, to get around this, I right click the picture and go to "Open With" and there are two entries: "Open with CS4 (default)" and "Open with CS4." This works if I pick either option. My Windows version only has "Open with CS4 (default)" as the option.
I called Adobe support (in India?) with no solution.
I really like the double click option rather that using the pop-out menu choice. What is wrong with the Mac install, and how can I fix this issue?

This might mean that you have either 2 installs of CS4 (one on an other
disk?) or you did not use the the default application folder on root level
but have it installed in the user account application folder. Could you
check this?

jpg does not support Layers.
Just to make sure, what exactly do you mean by "stacking photos" and what do you want to achieve thereby?

As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message.

NOt an iPhoto issue - either a bad CD or a bad Superdrive on your computer - no way for us to tell try the CD in a different computer

You are posting in the "icloud on my mac" forum, but your profile mentions Windows. If using a mac, you need to have iphoto or aperture installed in order to receive new photos via photo stream. If using windows, try posting in the iCloud on a PC forum. You'll get better help there.

Error message when sending photos as attachments in mail

When sending photos from i photo in mail I get an error message "Can't get paragraph 8 of content of outgoing message id 142504208. Invalid Index" I can send one photo at a time but no more than one. I have recently upgraded to leopard from panther. I tried rebooting but no success. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

IPod touch blue screen of death on vista when synching photos

Hi forum,
I've just purchased my gorgeous iPod Touch 16Gb. However, when I try and synch it to my Windows Vista PC (32 bit enterprise edition), it blue screens, does a memory dump, then restarts every time.
This only happens when synching photos, specifically when the "optimising photos for iPod" process takes place.
I'm running the latest version of iTunes (7.4.3.1), the iPod software is current, and my computer is fully patched and up-to-date.
Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this problem? The photo functionality is one of the reasons I bought the iPod, and I would like to get this sorted!

I am trying to send as attachement. I have tried to screen shot but must not have a clue how to! Is there a number someone can walk me through this.. or if you could tell me how to screen shot it. I am trying the print screen but not working. I have never done on a computer before. My system is Dell Pentium Dual Core [email protected] 4.00GB 64 Bit Windows Vista. I tried to download a trial of LR4 so I could get some work done until prob fixed but it tells me my system not compatible. I am thinking of creative cloud but will this work with my system. I use LR for 100% of my editing but have been doing other things (newborns) where I feel I need CS6. If you could let me know what I need to do to run the new LR and CS6 that would be great. Thank you very much for your reply gdgmacguy :) I did all you suggested apart from restore as new device . Didn't know I could do that . After restore I did restore from back up only, as I didn't want to end up without contacts details on my phone. If I restore as new device how do I get my all contacts? Still will have to use back up? Sorry if it sounds like I don't know what i am doing, i just have no one to ask who would know. Thank you
