Subject: Why Restricting Calendar Year/Month Does not show some process cha

I am struggling to figure to how to debug BEX queries. I am on BI 7.0.
I am developing a query on 0TC_C21.
1.     I want output like:
Process Chain Id:   Average Duration
When I run this query for an interval on 0CALMONTH (01.2009 u2013 12.2009), I get all the
Process chains executed and their average duration.
2.     Now I want to see Average Duration for each month. I simply put 0CALMONTH on top of the key figure Avg Duration. I now do see
Process Chain Id:   Avg Duration 01/2009 Avg Duration 02/2009 u2026. Avg Durtaion 08.2009
But problem is only some process chains are shown. Why? In the output, I do see for some process chains there is no Avg Duration, e.g. in 01/2009 because process chain was never run.
So, I do not understand why some process chains are not being shown.
I know for sure that process chains not being shown were run in 08.2009.
Appreciate any feedbacks, in particular how to debug this problem.

And that what is confusing me. As far as I know, the URL should not have changed from the one I received when the podcast was approved last year. The feed seems fine. It's still updating when I load up episodes to Soundcloud. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Calendar Year variable is not showing listed values

Hi,
I have a query which I am running based on the standard variable ( 0CALYEAR ) input. When I run first time it shows the list of values in the selection editor and displays the result. But after executing when I am trying to change filter values in the output, it doesn't show list values as well if I enter manually, I am not getting the result. I am getting out put no data available....
I created new variables on 0CALYEAR info object, but same problem. My query structure is
In rows I just defined Calendar Year / Month ( so that I can get all months for that user entered Year ).
In Columns I defined one Key Figure.

Problem is resolved my self. Removed 0CALYEAR from Char Restrictions to Default.

Fiscal Year / Periods does not show properly in WebI and compunding

Hi,
I have few reports where I am using Fiscal Year /Period as filter.
I have created a Universe on the top of a SAP BI Query and did not do any customization.
Then I created a WebI report. In this report I created various filters beside Fiscal Year / Period. When I run report, filter window opens. I can select all other filters but when it comes to Fiscal Year / Period it does not show me the values I want to see. It shows AUG 0001, APR 0025 etc. I want to see AUG 2010, MAR 2009 etc so that I can select them and get the data of the required Fiscal Year / Period. In Cube I have the required data. If I select MAR 0010 etc I donu2019t get any data.
On the other hand if I put fiscal Year / Period in columns or rows it shows the right value.
If also run SAP BI Query and Fiscal Year / Period in Variable then on variable screen I can see the right value from where I can select and get the required result.
Do I have to do any step at Universe level or something else?
It seems that Fiscal Year / Period is compounding.
Is there any help?

for thanks for igniting my thoughts in this regards.
Yes these values do exist in SAP BW.
It is some how compunding the values at filter level.
It does not let me see the whole value when filter screen popup in BOBJ.
In SAP whole value shows when variable screen popup, I see three columns Fiscal Year / Period. Text, Posting Period Key, and Posting Year Key.
Fiscal year / Period Text which shows Aug 2009, Posting Period Key which shows our period 1 to 16, and Fiscal year key which shows 2009 etc.
Is there any setting in BOBJ which compunds the year for variable screen so that we may see the whole values for filters?

Why the account login list does not show up on menu bar?

I see bunch of other icons including Bluetooth in Tiger on my Intel Mac mini, but somehow the list of accounts disseapared. I have that on my PowerMac Tiger and did exist from the the day I upgraded to Panther, but why it does not show up in Tiger?
Any idea how to bring accounts so I could login to another and have that turning 3D screen and changing to another account?

Icloud calendar in outlook does not show

I have just reinstalled Microsoft Office 2013, and had to set up a new profile in Outlook. I used the icloud panel/program to gain access to share mail/contacts/calenders/tasks from icloud into Outlook.
The mail is working - so no problem. However, I can NOT see my calendar in iCloud. I have tried to go into the icloud program to remove this, start the program again, start the computer again etc etc. But the calender will just NOT show up. I can not see any of the iCloud contacts either.
What to do? Is there any easy way to show my iCloud calender and contacts in Outlook. It used to work perfectly before, but now I just can not get it up and working. It is really frustrating, as I use my iCloud calender all the time.
Please help. Any suggestions?

Why is it my network does not show up any longer on wifi for ipad? Have tried network reset still not tere cannot go to internet

have tried network reset but my network is not showing cnnot access internet.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Mail 5: does not show some attachments if not config'd as Exchange

One of my email accounts resides on an Exchange 2010 server. I clean installed Lion the other day, but ever since early Snow Leopard builds, I had this issue where every now and again, emails received on that Exchange account would have attachments that did not show up when the message was viewed in Apple Mail. These are not unusual attachments. We're talking a .doc or two. An email with one attachment might appear attachment-less in Mail, and one with five attachments might appear as if it had four attachments in Mail.
The same is happening in Mail 5 on Lion. Here's how it goes:
1. When the account is configured as Exchange IMAP, a message received today with one .doc attachment appears without the attachment.
2. When the account is deleted and readded as IMAP, the same happens.
3. When the account is deleted and readded as good old Exchange, the message appears properly -- attachment and all.
Decided to try this after seeing that the attachment was showing just fine on my iPhone which connects via Exchange, not IMAP.
I'm curious. Anyone have any thoughts on why this is?

I've seen this behavior on both Snow Leopard and Lion as well, although I haven't linked it to the mail protocol being used. Sometimes even on my iPhone and iPad. It's variable, unpredictable and inconsistent. I'm sure somewhere buried in the arcana that is modern multi-part MIME messages there's an answer, but I'll be darned if I know what it is. All I can suggest is filing a bug report with Apple.

Calendar 7.0 does not show year overview data

In past iterations of Calendar, when I switched to the "year" view, I would get a nice density graph across the various dates, so I could tell at a glance how heavily scheduled a certain week or month is...
Now when I click on "year view", I see only a blank calendar, and have to click on each date to see if I have something scheduled there. Is there a way to return the previous overview functionality?

I just successfully created an event called "Good Saturday" for today (Saturday). It was not a day long event - only an hour long event.
I created a "Good Saturday" day long event for next Saturday and that succeeded.
So I conclude the issue you are seeing must be with the calendar account(s) you are using.
I also run the same build of calendar you have.

Why the restart firefox bubble does not show after installing an addon and the remember password bubble is closed (not now x)?

When I go to a post login page, firefox offers to remember password.
If this bubble is ignored (by pressing the x or by choosing the Not now option) and i download an add-on on that page that requires browser restart, the bubble of "restart now" which should get triggered after the installation of the add-on is not shown.
Note: If i press on Remember password or never remember password on this site, the restart bubble shows.

Possibly you could explain carefully what happens, listing the steps you take.
As a test/example Would you be able for instance to recreate the problem with this forum as a login site with a password. And with for example this add-on

Music I purchased two years ago does not show up as a download in my itunes

I recently purchased this macbook and set up itunes using the same user name and password that i used on a prior windows based computer. I purchased several songs and albums on that computer, can i get those same songs to show up as available for creating ringtones on my new computer?

You would need to move those files from the old computer to the new one. Do you still have access to the files on that computer? Do you have them backed up on some external storage medium (CD's, DVD's, external hard drive)? Were they synced to an iPod or iPhone?

NSMutableString getCString misbehaves, does not show some characters

This is my first time here.
I have written a small tool for Cocoa / MacOSX 10.5 and I am trying to save a text to a file, but some characters such as # appear as hex 0x0.

Btw, I am a newb at Mac programming, but I come from a solid Windows programming background, but please don't hold that against me :P.

The NSString length method doesn't count a terminator; i.e. it's analogous to strlen(), so if you convert an ASCII C string to a NSString object, the return from [results length] will be the same as strlen(source). I'm not sure there wasn't something else going on at your end, since this length error only strips the trailing char from the source string. In any case, the following code should work for you:

About Calendar Year/Month in demo cube 0D_PU_C01

I'm now working with the demo cube 0D_PU_C01,and then I met such a problem:
I download the csv file via a program, and then I found the stucture of the data is not suitable for this cube , so I changed it manually, and when I tried to load Calendar year/month colomn, It showed coversion error, so I reformatted it from yyyymm into mmyyyy, finally it works. But, when I open the report it shows in the following format: mmyy/yy (such as 0119/99, it should be 1999/01). Can anybody help me ?

Hi Shi,
You need to write a small ABAP routine. If you are using PSA as the transfer method then you can write the routine in start routine section of the transfer rules tab.
You need to first bring the format to MMYYYY and then apply the conversion exit 'PERI6' (CONVERSION_EXIT_PERI6_INPUT) to convert the format to SAP internal format. That would resolve the issue.
