Submenus-how many can you have?

I have created a DVD slideshow with 6 submenus divided into 2 ines, but , when viewing on the TV, I can only access the three in the top line?
Is there a limit to the number, or do they all have to be in the top line?

I really think that Notes should tell you on it's home screen how many notes you have.

tonight i logged into iCloud on my PC laptop. I could not find a note. So i went to my iPhone 5s and i found my note using the simple search. And as soon as i tapped into it on my iPhone, it suddenly showed up on my laptop.
I really think that Notes should tell you on it's home screen (both on the iphone and on a computer of any kind) how many notes you have so you know if they are not syncing correctly, and if notes are being lost.
Also, there should be a way to download all the notes via any computer to a directory full of simple text files for the exact number of notes you have.
I have 42 notes. then I should be able to download all 42 into their own separate text files. Make the filename of the text file the first line of the Note, just like it shows up on the iDevice.
And finally, is there a character/size limit to the Note?

i have the basic 200 texts per month, so how do i find out how many texts are remaining??

When you sign into your account on AT&T you get a usage summary for voice, data and rollover on the account summary page. Under the Voice and Data Usage section there is a data tab. You will find it there.

How many of you have no problems at all?

One of the recent posts tries to make out like all MSI products are bad and they may get that impression just because this is the only place they read about the products. However as this is a technical board that is basically what you should expect. People come here to get help with their toys when they don't understand sometyhing or if something is wrong. So that can leave a bad impression. However there are those of us that not only are running right but are here to help out folks when they need it because we enjoy this sort of thing. So let us know if your system is in good order so that folks can see both sides of the story.

No probs here expcept for the overclocking. I think what happened was all these reviews came out saying what a great overclocking board this is and people expected that much out of it. Msi does not gurantee that there boards will overclock and has delivered a great stable board. I think the blame goes to the reivewers how put so much faith in how good this board can overclock. I dont think fututre bios will fix the overclocking issue. I dont think the a64 is notl that great of an overclocker due to the memory controller being on the die and not on the chipset. The best bet for overclockers is to get a 2800 newcastle or "cg" stepping and overclocking that tp 2.3-2.5. As of right now and my experience with a 2800, 3000 newcastle and a 3400 clawhammer, and the following boards i have used are a mis k8n plat, and a msi k8t800 neo fisr2 is on average my chips overlcock to about 2.3-2.4 prime95 stable. Maybe after newer revisions of the 64 chips we will be able to overclock more. But once again i am extremely happy with this board at stock or overclocked and i think the blame should be more posted towards the reviewers of this board and to figure out how they got such high overclocks that none of us can replicate.

Adobe ... Premiere CS3... how many of you have downloaded it?

I downloaded the beta yesterday and gave it a short whizz. Seems to be able to handle any format I threw at it, I did a test on my FCP system and got 9 ch of HDV with reduced opacity before it needed rendering, Premiere didn't get that far and I got lost on the interface because the keybaord commands are not like AE7 even though it looks the same, so switching between the 2 may be easy but picking up the pieces after doing some obscure functions with the keyboard may not be to good. In the end I got bored because I couldn't find things easily and it just doesn't look good to me, or am I too used the the colourful FCP?
Anyone thinking of jumping ship and floating on abobe boat?

i have just downloaded the new software update for itunes and i cant see how many songs i have in my library. is there a way i can check that or put that back on?

open itunes. In the top menu bar, select "view / show status bar". Now, you should see how many songs you have in iTunes, when you have "music" selected in the left hand column.

How many buttons can you have in Encore?

I'm trying to make a disc containing about 33 separate clips, all listed in the Menu, and individualy selectable. But I find when I drag buttons to the menu,it will only accept 18, then no more buttons can be added. Is this normal for Encore? Is there an upper limit to how many buttons you can have?

I like to keep my Scene Selection Menus rather clean, and lean, so normally limit the number of Buttons for a "cleaner" look, so with, say 16 Chapters/Scenes, I will likely do 4x Scene Selection Menus, with 4 Buttons each, or maybe 3 Menus with 6 Buttons in two, and 4 Buttons in the last one.
In the Project Panel, you can Duplicate your first Scene Selection Menu, to provide the number of Scene Selection Menus, that you need. I recommend that one Rename each duplicate Scene Selection Menu, so that it is easy to identify each one.
Then, from the Main Menu, add a Button that goes to the first Scene Selection Menu. Do all the linking, for say the 4 Scene Selection Buttons on that, and then add a "Next Menu" Button, that links to Scene Selection Menu # 2. That one will have the 4 Scene Selection Buttons, and the "Next Menu," going to Scene Selection Menu # 3, plus a "Previous Menu" Button, going back to Scene Selection Menu # 1. [Obviously, you can name those Buttons to suit, say "Next," and "Previous," or perhaps just "arrows" pointing to the right for "Next," and to the left for "Back."
If, for instance, one has an odd number of Scene Selection Buttons, on the last Scene Selection Menu, just "Edit in Photoshop," and Delete the "extra" Button Layer Sets.
I also like to add my own Button names in Photoshop, rather than let Encore automatically provide the names per the names of my Timelines. For instance, I name each Timeline in numerical order, so the names will read something like this: "01_Liz_Birthday," "02_Liz_Dance," etc.. On my Scene Selection Menu, I will nave the first Button "Liz's Birthday," the second Button "Liz Dance Recital," etc., without the numerals, that just help me know which Button I will be linking to, in numerical order. I also use Photoshop to edit the Button Layer Sets name, so that Button # 1 is named "01 Liz Birthday." That gives me the numerals in the Buttons' names in my Flowchart - with intricate navigation, that takes all of the guess work out of things - all names match up, and for the Timelines, I do not have any spaces, but do in the Text for each Button. A bit more work, but when it comes time to make my links, I can do it almost instantly, with no questions in my mind. I find that a little bit of preparation at the beginning, simplifies life down the line.

How many episodes can you have?

Is there a limit to how many episodes you can have in a single feed?
Suppose you podcast a weekly show, happily adding new items for each episode you create. Suppose, too, that you don't want to get rid of old episodes just in case you get a new subscriber who wants to go back through the old ones.
Are there good strategies already in place for this? Are there firm limits?

There is no firm limit on the number of items you can have in your feed. However there is a limit on the number that will show up in iTunes on your podcast page. That limit is 100.

Here is an example of someone that hit that limit.
That does not mean you are limited to 100 items in your feed - only that the first 100 items in your feed is all that will show up in iTunes on your podcast page.
However if you subscribe to the podcast above you will then see that all the items in the feed (>100) are made available for that podcast.
Early on most podcatchers just grabbed every item in your feed by default when you first subscribed to a feed. So it was considered good podetiqute to limit your items to 20 to 25 at the most.
However today since iTunes defaults to just the last item for automatic download, you can keep up all the items that are still releavent to your podcast.
So go ahead and add in all the items you want.

How many playlists (folders) can you have in iTunes.
I have a lot of music in iTunes and would like sort them out so it is easier for me to use
Eg 1 x folder for now 83
1 x folder for now 82
1 x folder for mash ups
Then weekly folders so probably looking at about 100+ folders

In iTunes playlists and folders are two different things. I assume you are asking about playlists. 100 will not be a problem.
However, it is unnecessary to create a playlist for Now 82. If the tracks are properly tagged, it will show up as an album.

There is no documented limit.
Note that Smart Playlists with Live Updating use extra processing, so if you have more than a few dozen of them you may notice a slowdown.
Some people think they should create a playlist for each album. If by any chance that is the reason you are asking the question, you will find it is much easier to get to an album via the column browser.

Yes, I believe they do. The places data is associated with GPS coordinates tagged on each photo. I think the faces data works the same way -- it is associated with each photo regardless of what album it is in.
