Submit button doesn't work after moving form to another parent container
I'm re-arranging the page using jquery. When I moved a div or table containing a form to another div, the submit button doesn't work anymore. Using the emulation mode under the Inspect Element feature of IE, the same code works for IE9 but not under IE10
and up.
Any ideas?
I will steal the answer that George gave to a similar question, because it turns out it is applicable here as well:

When you distribute a form, it replaces the email address that you've set up in a submit button with the email address you have specified in "Edit > Preferences > Identity > Email Address". So before you initiate the Distribute Form process, change the email address there to the one you want to use.
It is a ridiculous solution, because it means I have to make the identity of my personal copy of Acrobat the email address of someone else or some other department when I make the form, but whatever -- at least the form sends now.

Email submit button doesn't work after digitally signing document
I have a PDF fillable form that works great except for the digital signature fields. Every employee needs to fill it out, sign it, hit the email submit button to faward it to the boss, who then signs it and saves it. There are two digital signature fields that need to be signed by different people. If the employee fills out all of the fields and then hits the email submit button, everything works as it should. However, if they sign it digitally like we need them to and then press the email submit button, nothing happens. It's like the button is no longer interactive at all. The mouse doesn't even change anymore when hovering over it. How can I fix this?
When you click the submit button, do you get a window that has the title "Select Email Client"and has the options of "Desktop Email Application" and "Internet Email"? If not, does anything at all happen?
Note that Mac users must have Acrobat or Reader installed and be viewing the PDF in Acrobat or Reader for it to work. Many (most?) Mac users have the Preview Application as their default PDF viewer, and it does not support many interactive features such as form submissions. Although some third-party PDF viewers for Windows support form submissions, many do not.
For those that do not use PDF viewers that support form submissions, they will have to manually attach the document to an email message. -
Submit button doesn't work when form is uploaded to website
I created a form with a submit button that works well when I open the form from my documents. However, once I upload that same form to my website, the submit button doesn't work. Any ideas how this can be fixed?
If the form is opened in the browser, it is probably using the browser's built-in PDF viewer (e.g., Chrome and Firefox), which likely does not support the submit action. It's possible to disable the built-in viewer and configure it so Adobe Reader is used to view the PDF and the submit button should work. This will be something each user would have to set up, so providing instructions is a good idea.

Can't Add Credit Card (submit button doesn't work)
Hey. Recently come across a problem trying to add my credit card so I could buy a Twitter app that works with Twitters new authorization.
The submit button doesn't work. It is still there, but it is unclickable, it doesn't load up anything, or do anything. It doesn't change to being clickable at any time.
If it helps, I have the Palm Pre, I'm with O2 (UK).
Can anyone help?
Post relates to: Pre p100ueu (O2)This sounds like a credit card related issue. Has anything about your credit card changed, like a new expiration data? You can go to App Catalog, tap the drop-down menu, select Preferences and Accounts, then choose the account name, enter your profile password, tap continue, When the Edit Credit Card screen appears, re-enter the credit card number and confirm that the remaining info is valid or enter any new information, then submit.

Submit button doesn't work unless I use the record wizard
If I create a form using the data objects/insert record/record wizard my form works fine..ie..the date gets inputed into my mysql database. However, if I create the form myself without the record wizard my submit button does not work. Any suggestions or thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
It could be a problem with that script.
You think?
I'd say it definitely is. But without seeing any code, we can only guess. -
ENVY 7640 - Power Button doesn't work after going to sleep
We print about once a day. It printed the first day without problems. The second day, we were unable to print and went to the printer and pushed the touchscreen - nothing happened. Then we pushed the power button - nothing happened,Then we unplugged and re-pluged the power cord - the printer booted and we were able to print. The third day, we were unable to print and went to the printer and pushed the touchscreen - nothing happened. Then we pushed the power button - nothing happened,Then we unplugged and re-pluged the power cord - the printer booted and we were able to print. The fourth day, we were unable to print and went to the printer and pushed the touchscreen - nothing happened. Then we pushed the power button - nothing happened,Then we unplugged and re-pluged the power cord - the printer booted and we were able to print. Then we registered with this forum and ask this question:HOW CAN WE KEEP THIS PRINTER POWERED ON WITHOUT RE-PLUGGING IT EVERY DAY?
I have the same issue as described at the beginning of this post. As noted by teacher, I have checked and confirmed the green light in back is still lit. I just bought this printer and issues started from the beginning. After I unplug and then restart the printer that way, it turns on and the power button will turn off and then turn on the printer. Its only after its static for a long time and goes into some undefined mode. At that point, the printer no longer responds. How can a company ship a product to customers in which the power button doesn't work? The only reason I bought this printer was becuase my HP Photosmart 7510 randomly gave me printer head error after changing the ink. It was only like 3 years old. I can't believe my new printer is buggy. Your company is on thin ice now. Please help me resolve this problem.

Email submit button doesn't work with Thunderbird
I created a LiveCycle (v8.2.1) form with the email submit button. Works fine if the sender is using Outlook. If their using Thunderbird, it does not. I installed Thunderbird on my system (normally I use Outlook) and set Control Panel/Internet Options/Programs email to use Mozilla Thunderbird as the email program. When I click the Email button on my LiveCycle PDF form, I get a message telling me: Select an Email Client. The "Desktop Email Application" radio button is checked and that should be fine; the explanation for this button indicates that it should be checked "if you currently use an email application such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, or Mail.". I leave that checked, since I am using an email application and click OK. After 20-30 seconds, I get a message with the title bar: Microsoft Office Outlook "A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook..." Allow|Deny|Help. I click Deny. After a minute or so, an Outlook "New" email window appears with the appropriate information from my LiveCycle PDF form. Right content, wrong email client. Since Thunderbird is my "default" email application, where is LiveCycle coming up with Outlook? What do my customers do who don't use Outlook?
I hope someone has a good solution.
Thanks. When you click the submit button, do you get a window that has the title "Select Email Client"and has the options of "Desktop Email Application" and "Internet Email"? If not, does anything at all happen?

Trouble submitting my feed to itunes - 'submit' button doesn't work
itunes is not allowing me to submit my podcast.
I'm going to http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/podcaststechspecs.html then clicking on 'submit a podcast'
I then enter:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheStartupStudio
the button that says 'continue' doesn't work when I put my mouse over it. But if I hit the enter key, it does take me to the next screen.
first problem: itunes is not picking up the most recent changes I made to my description
BIGGER PROBLEM: if I go to submit it and try to push 'submit' or hit the enter key, nothing happens. I have had this problem for weeks.x

Submit button doesn't work on some computers
I have a form with a submit button at the bottom. It works fine from my laptop but when I try to submit from my PC I get the message "this operation is not permitted".
Both machines run Windows 7, both are running IE 9, the laptop has reader version 10.1.3, the PC has reader vesion 10.1.4. That is the only thing I can think of. . .
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this works sometimes and not all the time?
Thank you!
CarolYou will get that message in Reader, but not Acrobat, if the document is not Reader-enabled. Are you sure the laptop is not using Acrobat and do you know if the document has been enabled?

Submit Button doesn't response in Interactive Form
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to implement a simple interactive form which is embeded in a abap webdynpro program.
I've set the interactive form properties as following:
displayType: native
enabled: X
onSubmit: CLICK
and there has been a action "CLICK" with event handler and corresponding method implemented.
For the interactive form i have drag and drop a submit button for webdynproAciveX group, and doens't change anything for this button. I check the "*click" of this button and it is run at Client.
When I run this webdynpro program, the button is there, if i move my mouse onto this button, the mouse will change to hand shape. But if i click this button, it doesn't look like it has been really pushed down and up, I also tried the external debug of the OnClick method, I cannot get into the debug either.
Do you have any idea what might be the problem?
Thanks in advance,
MaoHi,
When you are in the transaction SFP , then in the SAP tool bar you'll find the "Utilities" Menu bar, there you will be able to find the "Insert WebDynpro Script", when you click on this you'll in the Form in Heirarchy Pallete under the Variables you can see a script Object named "ContainerFoundation_JS" is being inserted. And Other Important thing is in the Properties tab of the SFP Transaction there select the Layout type as "ZCI Layout".
And when you insert the Submit button from the Library Pallete under "WebDynpro Native", then you'll find the below code in the Script Editor
// DO NOT MODIFY THE CODE BEYOND THIS POINT - 800.20070410093956.383622.376748 - SubmitToSAP.xfo
ContainerFoundation_JS.SendMessageToContainer(event.target, "submit", "", "", "", "");
// END OF DO NOT MODIFY

Table delete button doesn't work with Virtual Forms
I applied all of Winston Prakash's tips to my project table (http://blogs.sun.com/winston/category/Creator), but my table is not the only component in the page, so I had to use Virtual forms.
When I add the "Delete" button, i have to put it on a Virtual Form. I followed the steps on the multi selection table and the "Adding a button panel to the table component header" post, but when I select a row, the JavaScript works well (the row changes to yellow)... but the action code gets a :
getTableRowGroup1().getSelectedRowsCount()==0
and getTableRowGroup1().getSelectedRowKeys().length==0.
I tried almost everything with the forms... I don't know what I missed...It works for me. Is it the Delete button in the Toolbar that doesn't work, or the Delete key in the keyboard, or what? Doesn't any other way of deleting a message work either (e.g. Edit > Delete)?

Email submit button doesn't work in Reader 9
I designed a form that will successfully submit a filled out PDF form to my email address using LiveCycle Designer 7.0
If I open it using Acrobat Pro 7.0, it will successfully submit. When I open it in reader 9, it will not. I click the submit button and nothing happens. I am using Outlook '07.
Thanks for your help.
RandyHave you enabled "Extended Form Rights for Reader" for the PDF?

The Submit button doesn't work
Hi all,
this is my first post, so first off all sorry for any bad
english.
I have some code that makes a login system in flash with PHP.
Well the problem is that when i click de submit button when
registering a new user, flash wont go to the frame i want (just
stands in the same frame), still the user is registered in the
database.
this is the code of the button:
help please.Try this code.
I'm not positive it would work but I think the problem is
that you put the loadvars within the function (?). I don't know if
that'll cause any problems but I assumed it would.
In addition to that, I'm not sure if anything in error might
be returned. My assumption is that it should be undefined. But then
again, it might be null, not undefined. So, just to make sure, I
included to check if user != "ok".
Well, I hope it does work! -
Submit button doesn't work - DWcs5
I've created a form in DW CS5 using these properties:
<form action="mailto:[email protected]" method="get" enctype="text/plain" name="Guest Form" target="_blank" id="Guest Form">
I've watched 4-5 video tutorials and they all say to do it this way. But when I actually hit the submit button in my browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE), it simply opens a blank email. Here's my form:
http://www.azvacationhomerentals.com/ContactUs_Guest.html
What am I doing wrong?Using mailto in a form action is highly unreliable with many drawbacks.
See http://www.apptools.com/rants/mailto.php
It relies on your visitor having email software installed which is set up for email. If they use web mail such as Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail or Yahoo, the form submission will fail.
Use a server-side mail processing script instead.
Your website host may already have a pre-wrtten script available on the server.
