Submited parameters are added to the tab link

I' have ULR-Portlets on my Tab at a portalpage.
When I do some work on one portlet (submit data), then the data will be added to the links to other tabs.
Tab-Link-Example:
http://<server>:7778/portal/page?_pageid=53,1,53_34989:53_35507:53_35579&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&DATA=VALUE
When I change the tab, the new tab processes the data application goes wrong.
What can I do (configuration in the protal?) that the links on the tabs stays the same?

Hello, I presume you dont want the end-user editing these objects either? If thats the case then use static objects instead. Static objects are not included in the tabbing order. Yes, they are identified with a number when you enable the View | Tabbing Order but only to identify them as part of the reading order. Remember, the tabbing order and reading order share the same sequence. See if you can use a static image instead of an image field. I presume Text1 is already a static text object therefore it wont be tabbed into. If you cant replace the image field with a static image then you can use a workaround. You can protect the access to a field. Protected fields do not participate in the tabbing sequence. Designer does not expose this property so you will have to specify it manually. For example: 1. Select the image field. 2. Go to the XML Source. If it not opened, go to the View menu and select XML Source. It will show up besides the Preview PDF tab. 3. The <field> element will be highlighted. Type access=protected. For example: <field name="ImageField1" y="25.4mm" x="57.15mm" w="25.4mm" h="30.4mm" access="protected"> 4. Preview the form. Does this help solve your problem? Try Ethernet over Power adapters.. these are very popular for your kind of environment.. being able to make non-wireless link to another area where you can setup a wireless access point.

SSRS,MDX- Passed parameters are not hitting the main query in Dataset

I have created a SSRS report which has to accept two parameters i.e., store name, Date(to show sales on particular date) in report. which are working fine for me. but, those passed parameters are not hitting the main query in main Dataset. what ever i
pass in parameters, it is displaying all the rows(every city values). i think i am not correct in creating the statement in Main dataset query, to receive those 2 parameters into the main query. can anybody please help me how to create the statement
in main date set to display the results for the exact parameter i am passing(which has to be in MDX).

According to your description, you want to use parameter in the report, then after parameter values are selected, corresponding data will be displayed in the report. But the parameters do not work and all the rows are displayed.
To pass parameter to main report dataset, we need to define parameter for MDX query and assign parameter name same as SSRS report parameter. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
Create a Dataset to retrieve data for Store name parameter.
Create Store name parameter, type name and prompt, set Date type to Text, check Allow multiple values check box, then select get values from the dataset.
Create a Dataset for Date parameter.
Create Date parameter, type name and prompt, set Date type to Date/Time, then select get values from the dataset.
Create a new dataset used to retrieve data for the report, add statement like below to the mdx query: {STRTOMEMBER(@Date)} * {STRTOSET (@Store_name)}.
In Query Designer pane, click Query Parameters and assign parameter name same as SSRS report parameter.

Default parameters are missing in the cloned EUL

we have discoverer up and running perfectly on our existing instance - SIGMA
now we have a new instance - ALPHA,
we cloned the whole EUL from old instance(SIGMA),
IN ALPHA every thing is working fine, we have all the BA,folders and all the workbooks seem to work fine, but we have a issue with the default parameters.
the default parameters are missing from the workbooks, now this has become an big issue, because we have hundreds of reports and user want need them all with the default parameters
could somebody please help me on this issue
few questions:
when cloned does the default parameters get erased??
Does the default parameters entered in the workbook get saved anywhere in the EUL_Tables??
Could you please give me a best approach to bring in thoese default parameters??
any thoughts are highly appreciated
note: i can edit the worksheet and enter the default parameter and save the worksheet but we have got some hundreds of workbooks

when cloned does the default parameters get erased??I would be surprised if the default parameters are erased. More likely is that they are not being used because the default value is not valid anymore or because Discoverer is trying to use the last parameter value. Check the value of the SaveLastUsedParamValue preference setting. Is this the same on Desktop, viewer and Plus?
Does the default parameters entered in the workbook get saved anywhere in the EUL_Tables??The default parameters will be save along with the workbook in the EUL5_DOCUMENTS table. The field is of type LONG RAW so you won't easily be able to see this field. You can use the workbook dump utility to check whether there are default parameters actually set up in the workbook.
Could you please give me a best approach to bring in thoese default parameters??You could try exporting and importing the workbooks into the new environment to see whether this fixes the issue.

How do I change the color of the area next to the Tab Bar

I've got Firefox 8.0, and ever since they went to the new layout I've had problems with the area at the right of the Tab Bar. When FF is maximized, the buttons up there ( > + ▼ X ) are black on a dark blue background, and I almost can't see them - so I never use it maximized.
How do I change the color, maybe back to the colors it uses when not maximized?

I got used to the tabs at the top -- and kinda prefer that look, but I'll try this for a while.
Is there any way to change the color of either the buttons or the background?

I don't want some fields to be added in the Tab order.

I dragged a few objects from the OBJECT LIBRARY, say
1. TextField1
2. TextField2
3. TextField3
4. Text1
5. ImageField1
6. Button1
7. CheckBox1
8. CheckBox2
Then I selected 'TAB ORDER' from the 'VIEW MENU' now I want to keep out 'ImageField1' and 'Text1' from the tabbing order.
Please guide me with clear words, quick replies are expected and will be appreciated.

Only 10 custom parameters are readable in the RTF

Hi All,
I have defined 12 parameters in the RTF in addition to the usual parameters we see in Siebel BIP prompt.
But when I try accessing them ($param) only 10 are accessed and the rest 2 defined last in the series are not captured though I see them in the prompt given with some value.
Please let me know if this is a limitation in BIP.

These parameters are purely defined in the template but not under the BI Publisher server.
Does the SQL you suggested still get hold of these parameters with select statement run on dual.? I have seen in the Siebel Bookshelf where a View under Administartion - BI Publisher Reports also got a parameters applet. Why is that applet not seen to me in my application.? I have checked all tools configuration but couldn't figure any suh applet. There is mention of it here:

Problem with Ribbon when multiple List / Library WebPart are added to the same page

I added one page layout with several Web Part Zones,

I have a problem, when I add several List View Web Part to the same page, then when I select one list / library, the ribbon is shown, but it is shown with all option disabled.
Any idea?

According to your description, I suggest you check as follows:
1. Please check that whether the ribbon is OK when you use the OOTB feature to add the web part to a page;
2. What if you do the test in IE, will the issue still occur?

How endpoints are added to the database of ISE?

Hi all,
I just activated two ISE servers in production, everything works fine but when i look to the endpoints database i already have
5000 endpoints in less than 12 hours.
The envirronment is public..meaning that people are coming in for a few hours and than leave.
We basically use ISE 1.1.2 for wireless authentication. We have two SSID... One private SSID using 802.1x and one open SSID for free WiFi.
So the private SSID use ISE for authenticating the users and the open SSID does not use ISE at all for authentication or CWA..
NO mac authentication is defined on the open WLAN also.
95% of the endpoints i see seems to come from devices that have connected on the free wifi. I can see their ip addresses
Why are they learned by ISE and how? I suspect that it's because i have activated Radius probe in ISE because the endpoint
source is saying that in the logs.
Is there a way to stop learning all theese endpoints? I want to learn only those connecting on the private network.

On the WLC side, the NAC state is set to NONE on the public WLAN. On the private WLAN, i have it set to radius NAC.
On the ISE side, i do have DHCP, HTTP, DNS and Radius enabled in the profiling configuration tab on both servers.
Like i have mentionned 95% of the endpoint i see are from this public WLAN and the end point source is Radius.. The thing
i don't undertstand is why i do see them has RADIUS probe when ther is no radiusauthention on this WLAN?
I can disable the radius probe on my ISE servers but i will lose some profiling on the private WLAN.
What are your thoughs?

Problem loading web sites, but only if they are not in the tabs or navigation bar

I have trouble since 2-3 weeks now when I want to open a new page. I can use my tabs (Gmail, Facebook, etc) or use the addresses that I have in my navigation history. But I'm not able to do much else.
If I type an address, it won't load. If I use the Google Ad-On to look for something, not loading. But if I am on Facebook and click on a link, it works. I can also use that link (per example Youtube) to look something else.
I hope it's clear :) Not easy to explain a computer problem, worst when it's not in your first language :P

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

for this structure I'm geting data in the XML format.. .. my scenario is simple File to File scenario.. now i want to convert this XML to a normal Text file by using FCC in the Receiver file adapter..
and in the Receiver side i want the file in the bellow format: (each field i want to get in the separate line but at presnt I'm getting the continution of all lines I'm not getting the data in a separate lines..)

I cant open new tabs by clicking the blank area next to the tabs

I used to be able to simply double click on the blank space next to currently open tabs (not just the little plus sigh) to open an new tab. Since yesterday I can no longer do this. I am running version 7.0.1. I don't know if this happened at the same time an update did. If this is an error, how do I fix it? If this was caused by an update, how to I change it back? It's very frustrating to have to click on that small little box to open a tab!

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

Transport Requets are adding in the PRD buffer

Hi,
We are unable to add the request into the PRD buffer (from QA) even when we wanted to add it manually it gives following error
(TMS_TP_MAINTAIN_BUFFER). Also the existing requests in the PRD buffer are not imported in the PRD.
While importing the existing request in the PRD buffer the truck (running) symbol not showing

Unix : The /usr/sap/trans file system is mounted on server(domain controller) and for every system which is included in that domain controller have the /usr/sap/trans file system should point to Domain controller server.
if your PRD system /usr/sap/trans file system is not mounted on domain controller server.
Please ask your unix team to mount the trans file system on PRD system.
Windows : /usr/sap/trans should be share.
if file system is fine , please give me the error details , like Return codes , log details.
