Submitted podcast for review 01/05/14.  No word since

I submitted my podcast for review on the 5th of Jan, 2014.  I received an email on the same day that it is under review, but I have not received anything else.  Did I get lost in the shuffle?  My podcast is called Hours Played and the feed is http://hoursplayed.libsyn.com/rss

  • Could someone please submit my Podcast for review?

I keep getting an error everytime I try to submit it for review to iTunes and its not a problem with my link or anything buty a unknown error with the itunes store itself, I have tried alot of things to get around the error but one of the only things I have not tried is having someone else on their own account submit (it might be a problem with my login)
So if someone would be kind enough as to submit my rss feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/controller1gaming and let me know on here afterward I would be really grateful. I do not know of what happens after you put in your login info after you submit it (thats where I get the error) so if you need to know anything else or need anymore info please ask in here and I will supply it to you. Thanks ahead of time for whoever submits it!

  • Question about submitting Podcast for the first time

    Hi,
I submitted a podcast, and it was accepted. The link I have works, and that is all fine and good. It told me that within 1-2 days my podcast would be searchable in the store. It still is not.... Any suggestions or ideas?
    Thanks,

How to speed up Apple? A lot people would like to know the answer to that one. In part I think Apple is becoming a victim of its own popularity - so many people are using the iTunes Store and their iDisk that the servers are often under strain.

  • Supposed to get email for podcasts under review?

I submitted my podcast for review earlier today and have yet to receive an email which I think I read somewhere that you are supposed to get that tells you that your podcast has been sent in for review. Not one telling me it has been accepted but one telling me that it is currently in review.
Also anyone that has recently sent in podcasts how long did you haveto wait before your podcast was finaly accepted and shown on itunes?
      Windows XP

An email should be sent to the email address listed in the <itunes:owner> part of the feed XML.
I was thinking that it was pretty quick, perhaps an auto-reponse email that notifies you that your feed is under review. Was within a 24hr period I'm sure. Here's an example from one I submitted a while back:
    Dear Podcast Owner
Your podcast feed, [ http://your podcast url here.com ] was successfully added and is now under review.
    Sincerely,
    The iTunes Store Team
Check your junk mail, since this comes from an address of [email protected] if could have easily ended up there.
The review from my experience didn't take more than about a day...maybe two. iTunes has been acting a little flaky lately so it may vary now.
You'll get another email if it is approved or rejected. If it is approved it will have a url for a direct link to the podcast's directory page in iTunes. It will take a day or so for that to be available. It will take several days (sometimes a week) for it to show up in the search...just seems to be how long it takes for iTunes to re-build its search index.
The best way to speed up the process is to double-check your feed with feedvalidator.org and manually subscribe to your feed in iTunes (advanced, subscribe to podcast) to make sure that your podcast download properly.

  • Mark for Review Forum Feature hides posts after 5th time

Hi SDN and BPX Forum Aficionados,
The abuse button has another little known feature that has the potential to really improve the quality of forum content.
You mark a post for review by hitting the ! icon, select a category and please add a couple of words why and it gets marked for moderation.
If there are 4 other people that think a post doesn't belong to this forum, the thread automatically goes into hiding until a moderator has time to look at it and can take action accordingly.
It puts the community back into the driver seat. If enough people think a post doesn't belong it is gone. You have to be logged in to do this. See the [documentation|http://www.jivesoftware.com/jive/entry!default.jspa?categoryID=33&externalID=1321&fromSearchPage=true]
The threshold is set to 5 at the moment throughout all forums. Probably it will have to be fine tuned over time depending on how active a forum is.
This is going to be really interesting in 2008.
Happy New Year to all of you, Mark.

    Hi Althea,
    Happy New Year to everyone.
At the moment the poster doesn't get a message automatically. Once a moderator has looked at it and rejected the post, there is a possibility of an email being sent. We are looking into that.
It is true, we have to explain a bit more about the functionality of the Report Abuse feature.
    Will do so soon, Mark.

  • I have submitted build by xcode 6.1 but in itunes account shows us Apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 5.1.1 or later, and iOS 7 or later SDK after clicking the submit for review.

I have submitted build by xcode 6.1 but in itunes account shows us Apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 5.1.1 or later, and iOS 7 or later SDK after clicking the submit for review.
Please tell me the solution as soon as possible and i am able to remove the build.

You have used Xcode 6.1 and it is a valid version, so you should not have any problem. Anyway, if there is any problem, Apple will contact with you to fix it before your app is published.

  • Getting an error "The app's distribution certificate is invalid" while submitting for review in itunes connect.

I have encountered this error while "Submitting for review" in iTunes connect.
I have uploaded binary 10 days back, my metadata got rejected by apple, i have encountered this error while submitting the metadata again.
Please help me understand what it meant.
    Thanks,

I got the same error now. How did you fix it?

  • Submitted build via Xcode is not visible in iTunes for review.

I have submitted a new build with number 199 via Xcode to iTunes for review but that is not visible even I got an email from Apple team to manage the builds. I have already submitted two builds 197 & 198 earlier which were rejected by Apple.

You have used Xcode 6.1 and it is a valid version, so you should not have any problem. Anyway, if there is any problem, Apple will contact with you to fix it before your app is published.

  • LaunchFCP error when submitting content for Approval

I'm getting a 'Delivery Validation' error while submitting content for approval.
    Screenshot of error.
Where can I find the logs to debug issue's like this failures.

LaunchFCP refers to sending a proof. When you Submit Content for Approval, Adobe Campaign sends out a Proof to the proof target and sends a Validation Request to the Content Reviewer.
You can Open a delivery to view the error details on the Summary page. The proof does not appear on the Campaign dashboard, but you can go to the Deliveries folder under Campaign Management (default location) to see deliveries and their proofs. Proofs are a copy of the original delivery with [Proof n] in the subject line.
Generally, don't delete campaign configurations. For some configurations, when you delete them they are moved to an archive folder. For example, if I look in the Deleted deliveries folder, I can see some proofs and e-mails that you deleted. The reason your proof failed appears to be because of a missing subject line. There is a rule in Adobe Campaign that checks for this.
    Hope this helps!

  • Merge form responses for review?

We have a scholarship application PDF form which requires submission of three references. Currently, each reference is submitted on a separate PDF reference form.
What is the best way to include all three references with each submitter's application data for review?
Can we include field(s) in the application form which are completed by a different person (the one providing a reference)?
    Separate but related:
Applicant must provide academic transcript(s). Can an uploaded file be requested from/uploaded by a third party?

You could either 1) add the reference fields to the main form they are filling out or 2) create a different form for the references and use the applicants name to tie the references back to the main application form.
If you made it separate forms then someone else could fill it out.
We do support uploading of files as part of any form submission.
    Hope that answers your questions.

  • Error submitting form for Distribution: "The filename you specified is not valid because it does not

    Error submitting form for Distribution:
"The filename you specified is not valid because it does not include a .pdf extension, contains one or more invalid characters or teh path preceding it refers to a protected system location."
Tried removing dashes from filename, shortenign filename, moving to root directory. No changes. File ends with a .pdf extension.
This is my first attempt to distribute via acrobat.com

I found that I got that same message using Acrobat Professional to send out a document for shared review.  I had an exclamation mark in the title of the PDF. When I took out the exclamation mark, it worked.
So maybe try taking out anything "unusual" (parentheses, dashes, exclamation marks, etc.) in the file name and see if that helps.
    Good luck,
       Philip.

  • Change name that shows up when submitting app store reviews

How do I change the name that displays when submitting app store reviews (e.g. reviews for apps)? I can't find anywhere to do it!

iTunes>Store>View My Account>4th box down>Edit Nickname...what do you show there, if anything? Also, are you postive the name being shown is not associated with your account or used with the account to obtain that app?

  • Possible error in approving podcast for itunes

I submitted several RSS URLs and all were approved. These were archives of past podcasts for which the list had gotten too long for my main RSS feed (360+ episodes)
What shows up in iTunes store though is one of these archives twice, and one missing. How can I point this out and get it corrected?
The one that shows twice is http://www.podictionary.com/archivew1 with the pointer http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=202539866
The one missing is http://www.podictionary.com/archive4 and the pointer I was given (below) just points back to the one that shows twice http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=202527931
    winxp   Windows XP Pro

Hi--the problem is not with the approval process--it's just that the feed:
    http://www.podictionary.com/archive4/
Which is the source feed for the second iTunes podcast you list below, has some incorrect info.
    The title: <title>podictionaryweekly archive #1</title>
    etc.
So it looks like the feed for Archive 4 is just a duplicate of the feed for Weekly Archive 1. Go back and make sure that the Archive 4 feed has all the correct info and the iTunes Store will see the changes and change the entry in the Store.

  • Application still in "Waiting For Review" status

    All,
Although I've submitted my application to Apple (nearly a week ago), it's still under "Waiting for Review" status. How long does this process take to change the current status? In addition, will I know whether or not my application will be approved? I mean, I'm kind of concerned about my application approval...
    Thanks in advance.
