Submitting information on a website

Just recently I have been noticing that when I submit info ( for example a auction listing on listia.com) after supplying the info I press "submit" and the page goes back to the form and I have to re-submit the info again. The same goes true for a few other sites such as websites I have to fill out certain info on a form. this doesn't happen when using Internet Explorer, or google chrome. So I am assuming that the problem lies within Firefox. I just downloaded FF4, and haven't tried with this version yet.

I forgot to mention. Long pressing on the icon only result in the text being selected/highlighted. The popup/tooltip message does not display.
I added two screenshots. The one displays the popup message correctly when hovering the mouse cursor over the '?' icon, as it is on my computer. The other screenshot displays the text being seleted when I press long on the '?' icon.

Which website your are using to update the Adobe Flash player? No Adobe website ever ask for any id and password to update the flash player.
If you are using MAC machine and its the password prompt while installing update that you are talking about then please follow What userid & password do I need to install Flash Player?

Firefox cannot transfer information from certain websites.

I am able to load a problem website, but subsequent pages on the same website are not transferred. A message appears at the left bottom side of the page indicating that the requested information is being transferred from the website, but nothing happens. This is happening with only one website when using Firefox. The website does work correctly using Internet Explorer.

Address Book
On your G3, create a new folder on your desktop and call it vCards. Next open Address Book, select all the addresses, then go to File / Export vCard, and select the folder you created as the destination. Next, on your new computer, open Address Book, and use File / Import to get the vCards from the folder on the G3's desktop.

I do not have a clue, since I have never run iTunes.

Well I thought I would try to just export the library and then import it similar to what I did with the Address Book, but doing that just imports the names of the playlists, not the actual songs. I'll go post this under itunes, so it doesn't get too confusing. What are you using instead of iTunes by the way?+

Facebook share & URL LINTER can't get the information of my WebSite

I'm very frustrated because I can't make my iWeb Page correctly shared on facebook. I have worked a lot on that page, and included in it interesting html codes; I even have used iWeb SEO Tool to added some title tags. However, when I try to share any page of my website, or one of my articles, the facebook only recognize a long URL without any text description or image.
I have checked my page using URL LINTER form Facebook developers ( http://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/ ) and the answer is always: CRITICAL - Internal Facebook Error - Impossible download
I have also checked other pages, using the same URL LINTER, and I saw they have a nice Title Web, description, and also a representative image, that are all included in facebook when you share the URL web.
Could yo please tell me how to do in order to do my WebSite truly shareable ? I have tried to insert other meta tags in my code, using iWeb SEO TOOLs and the recommendations of facebook developers, but the information page seems keep invisible for sharing

How do I find out if something is blocking my access to i-tunes. I have updated all of my information on their website, but am still unable to purchase music downloads.

I can connect to i-tunes website. when I go to store to browse, I need to click on the i-tunes task bar under view to show options for browsing. It does not show the grid anymore unless I do that first. once I make a selection and click "buy" it tells me that i need to update my credit card information. I have already done that. I have checked i-tunes help and they sent e-mail suggesting that it is an issue on my computer.

is there a way of getting rid of "local caches from apps, browsers, mail, Messages, Reading List, saved games" other than a backup and restore ?

MySQL Database Information Usage In Website

I want the information gathered from phpmyadmin (Name, URL, etc) to be organized into tables and tables inside that table. I've been looking at multiple videos on YouTube and tried following what it is that they did but at certain areas I got stuck.
The Template I want the information gathered to is on the following link.

I will put the information into the database (Name, Link To Profile, Link To Image, Genre, and Influences) and I want my website to take that information, do the $name things in php and put the information in the correct places of the table.
After I get that to work I will work my way into getting Pagination to work with it, I am just stuck with this part right now.
If you can help me out with examples or linking me to a tutorials that would be great!

Wrong information in Spanish website

I've been noticing errors in the Spanish Apple website for ages now, but this is just too much now. The day of the new MB and MBP laptops I checked to see if the errors in the "Compare specs" were corrected sense they would have to redo some info. Wrong. There are still some specs that haven't been corrected. In the Wireless part of the table it says that the new MB and MBP laptops have 2.0 Bluetooth when it should be 2.1. I remember also that not too long ago it incorrectly stated that the MB and MBP laptops had wifi-g instead of wifi-n (that info was corrected just some months ago).
I also noticed that, in the new launch, the MacBook page had some information in French! That was so obvious that they corrected it just a day or so after the launch of the new models, but still... what's with having continuous errors in the Spanish website?
I personally think that the Spanish website section needs some serious quality improving.
Also there is no Castilian speaking forum for discussing this sort of things. A lot of people in Spain barely know any English so it's kind of complicated to get some feedback in the mother language.
PD: I've just checked the Mexican store and they have their information correctly written, unlike the Spanish one.

La solución más acertada pienso yo es que se revisen más detenidamente los contenidos antes de lanzarlos al público y repasar las especificaciones respecto a las que vienen en la página en inglés (o incluso respecto a la mexicana porque parece ser que en su web están más atentos a este tipo de detalles).
Comentar como detalle que fuera de la sección "Store", en la sección "Mac", las especificaciones técnicas sí son correctas por lo que ahí no hay que corregir nada.
Espero que se solvente el problema descrito pronto y que conste que lo hago por vuestro bien, que yo sé perfectamente qué especificaciones técnicas tiene cada modelo, pero ver las especificaciones mal puestas en la versión española me produce rabia al ver que se descuida de esa manera.

I use a website which has icons which display text information about items when you hover your mouse cursor over it.
On my previous device I could hold my finger/stylus on the icon and have the information bubble popup to read.
How can I view the text popup bubble in my Firefox on Android?
I have a Sony Xperia Z Ultra with Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat) and using Firefox version 33.1 for Android.

Forms trouble receiving form information from my website

I have used the forms widget to set up a contact us form on my website. The form looks right on the website and when I(as a user) click send, I get the form sent confirmation message.
The problem is that I do not receive the email containing the form information that the user has sent in my email that I have entered in the form widget dialog box.
I am using go daddy as my web and email provider and other emails work fine. Am I missing a step? Why do I not receive user information?

Help team! I need to find a way to copy the information on a website database to an Excel spreadsheet. It's probably really simple for some of you!

So without getting into too much detail, here's my problem:
I have to take every approved entry from this website: http://eapr.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/CertDetails.aspx
Then paste it into an Excel spreadsheet. I need only 'Declared Articles' from each category (aplliance connectors, etc), and then only a few subfieds in them:
-Name
-Certificate Number
-Model Number
-Expiry Date
-Article Class
-Description (Including volts, amps, watts and hertz if included)
-Volts
-Amps (If applicable)
-Watts (If applicable)
-Hertz (If applicable)
At the moment I'm literally copying each entry manually. I can't request a spreadsheet from them, and as you'll see from the website, it's extremely difficult to get these thousands of entries manually. The individual certificates cannot be opened in a new
tab, let alone copied efficiently.
So my question to you: is there a way I can create some sort of macro to take the details from the page? What avenues can I take to get there?

Apologies, 'name' referred to the 'Certificate Holder' field.

How to send submited information on the form created in flash catalyst to an email??

i have created a contact form in flash catalyst including submit button and i need this information to be emailed, when people press the submit button.

Hi Faryar,
Emailing a form requires some special setup on your web server. The actual sending of the email is done on the server-side. The SWF you create in Catalyst sends a request to your server, which then sends the email. Unfortunately, you have to be prepared to learn some server-side coding to get this to work.
Here are some resources to help you get started:
- A tutorial on making web forms: http://www.javascript-coder.com/html-form/how-to-make-a-form.phtml . Note that you'll be doing the actual form UI in Catalyst, instead of HTML (so you can skip those parts).
- Using the Flex Form control to sending email using PHP on the server: http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Submitting_a_Flex_form_using_PHP-8523.html . Note that you're not using the Form control, but this demonstrates how to write the PHP code.

- One cheesy way of doing this without a server is to create a mailto link with the email body pulled from the form. When the user clicks the link, his email client will open up with the email pre-written, but he will still have to send it. I don't really recommend this method as many users don't have mailto configured on their machines. If you do want to do it, you just need to construct a mailto link dynamically from the form contents. Add a "Go to URL" interaction in Catalyst, import the project to builder, and then change the URL to something like this:
"mailto:[email protected]?subject=Form Submission&body=" + firstNameTextInput.text + ", " + lastNameTextInput.text".

Where can I find Firefox update information on the website?

Firefox was recently downloaded on the laptop I am using with Win7. Over the past few weeks, several times I've been surprised to find a tab open from Firefox telling me to click here to update. I've been told to always get updates from the website, not from these pop-ups. But I don't know where to look on the site to get the updates. I see in some of the questions that people want help with that there is an auto update feature and also manual--but I don't know where to find them. I am not very intuitive in poking around--so finally am writing for help, if you can direct me where to go to see if there really are updates I need to do, or if the messages that I am getting are bogus.

Submitting information on Form and then forwarding the form

I am attempting to automate a process which requires filling out a form and then submitting to a team lead for approval.
Currently a configurator submits a hare copy of a request to enhance code or table.
I want to automate so that configurator loga into portal fills out form and then submits. The request is filled out and submitted via portal to approval authority.
Do I use ADS with portal via Visual composer or some other tool.

I am also trying to to do something similar . As from Ottos's reply I understand that the second WDA (Approvers screen) will also have a Interactive Form which is created based on data that was stored on the first screen.
Apart from the data, is there a way to make all attrributes of a form persistent so that we can use this to generate the PDF form when ever needed ?
Reason I am asking is because, apart from the data I may have to capcture signature etc., on the form.

How can I change information on a website that I have linked to the my website I created?

I created a website using dreamweaver cs5.5 and now my boss wants me to make changes on a webpage I linked it to a different site (one that I didnt create its with yahoo). He wants me to make changes on the site that I linked. Example is on my "Store" page I have an "express store" all I did was copy and paste that link to the yahoo store page for our company store so when people click on the "express store" they automatically go to our store via yahoo. My boss wants the prices to be changed on the yahoo page...How can I do that? Do I have to make new files for the pages? By copying the source code from the pages into dreamweaver and make the changes there and just link to the "new" page. Example: My "express store" would go to the new page's I created. What's the easier way to make changes to a site I didn't create?

In DW, you would go to Site > New Site and create a new empty site with just your ftp username, password and directory. You would then open that site in DW and choose the Get button from the Files tab to download the site onto your computer. Then you can make any changes you like to any page and upload them.
There may be some oddities in Design View because it's likely that the site uses some proprietary code that DW itself won't render correctly. Preview In Browser to make sure the pages look the way you want before uploading.
