Subpartition stats non-existent

Hi,
i've created a partitioned table in 11.2.
Partition clause is:
PARTITION BY RANGE (RIFDATE)
INTERVAL( NUMTODSINTERVAL(1,'DAY'))
SUBPARTITION BY HASH (FIELDNAME)
SUBPARTITIONS 4 STORE IN (USERS,USERS,USERS,USERS)
I've gathered stats with:
exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(OWNNAME =>'SCOTT', TABNAME =>'MY_TABLE_PART', ESTIMATE_PERCENT =>100, DEGREE =>2, CASCADE =>true, granularity=>'auto');
Now i see num_rows and last analyze in dba_tab_partions but not in dba_tab_subpartition.

Setting the INCREMENTAL parameter to stats table preference gather subpartition stats?
In doc Oracle® Database Performance Tuning Guide 11g Release 2 (11.2):
"Oracle recommends setting GRANULARITY to AUTO to gather subpartition, partition, or global statistics
depending on the partition type"
But it's not true.
If i set granularity preference to ALL it override INCREMENTAL parameter?

But the problem is, that I have always this error message:
ORA-22285 -> non-existent directory or file for FILEOPEN operation
I'd create a direcotrie and over utl_file.fopen I can write a file to this directorie, but this works over the path, not over the directory name. the utl_file_dir parameter was also set to the correct path. Whats wrong or how can I debug this problem?

Slow/Non-existent LTE Service in Soho/NYC

I have an iPhone5 and work at Broome and Sixth Avenue in Soho NYC. When I initially switched from AT&T to Verizon last year I was getting slow but decent 4G/LTE speeds at work. but for the past 3 months service has been non-existent all day indoors. When I turn off LTE service on my phone and go to 4G it is about 10 times faster.
My questions are:
Why doesn't the phone automatically switch over to 3G when there is no LTE service?
And why do I get for bars and the LTE indicator when the service is so slow I cannot even run a speedtest or connect to any apps' servers?

The second question - you have "service" as in you are connected, but Verizon has had capacity issues with LTE in NYC for quite some time now (and have not made any noticable improvements in at least the past year apparently), so you will constantly see disconnects or slow speeds....
Some related open threads for midtown, but apparently downtown and soho are suffering now as well (look at the "support" discussed in these threads as well...sadly, nothing to brag about to your friends on other carriers in NYC)

Just a hunch - if a VZ rep responds to your post, you will get a response similar to the following:
"What's your zip code? Let me investigate the issue. We want you to have great LTE speeds. Have you ever had a trouble ticket open?" Then once you supply the information, it will go unanswered or you will be told that they either a) see no issues with the area, or b) acknowledge capacity issues, but can't tell you of any upcoming improvements.
Sorry, probably not the response you were looking for...but it's the unfortunately sad state of VZW in NYC these days.

One can create an index on a non-existent column in a table

I am using Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Windows 2003. I wanted to create an index on columnb of
Tablea. When I use statement like:
Create index index1 on tablea (‘columnb’) …
Oracle created index: index1. However, when I looked tat the column in user_ind_columns it had some weird colculn like SYS_NCxxxx. For sometime, I had
No idea what was going on. My index was not being used in queries at all. Then it dawned on me that I should not put single quotes around columnb. Once I removed quotes, things worked as expected.
But why does Oracle allow index on a non-existent column?

we cannot create the index on nonexistent column of table We can. Its called a function-based index. Here's how we do it.

Synonyms pointing to non existing objects

Hi,
How to find out the public/private synonyms pointing to the non existing objects.
Let us say, we have created synonyms for a few tables, 1 year back. A few days later, we have dropped the tables.
How to get the list of synonyms which do not have the base tables.

Probably, you will still be having the list of dropped tables. To identify all the synonyms for the dropped tables we can query:
select * from user_synonyms where table_name in ('A', 'B', ....);
Once I identified you can drop these synonyms.
Alternatively, if you do not have the list of tables then (assuming you are on 10g), you could do something like this:
1) Identify all the synonyms with INVALID state and try to query/execute them.
2) Drop the one's which still remain INVALID (make sure they are referring the dropped tables)

and now i one to add one more subpartitin to the existing subpartition template(Like modify the existing subpartition templete).

Issue with sales order stock that is referencing a non-existing sales order

We have an issue with sale order stock.
Due to user error we have ended up with a negative quant of sales order stock in a bin. Further the error was due to mis-keying of sales order number. Hence this negative quant is referencing a sales order that does not exist.
We need to get rid of this quant.
I thought of cycling this quant off as a solution. And hence replicated the scenario in the test system. I was able to create a TO to cycle it off but cannot clear the differences from 999 . The error I get while trying to do this is "SD document not in database or has been archived" . This error is true since the sales order actually does not exist. So cycling it off did not work.
Can anyone suggest how we can get rid of this negative quant of sales order stock ?

You said that your user mistyped the SO number and it resulted in a -quant. In which transaction was it possible? If I give a non existing no. SAP doesn't allow me to book.
If I were you I would check both in WM & IM what the user had done...step-by-step...
Negative quant comes to existance in interim storage type if we book e.g. a GI. It should have started in IM...how was your user be able to do that??? If it was possible cannot you reverse the IM booking?
(...if all else fails...cannot you create a SO document with external number assignment with the same number?...)

My iPhone 5S prompts me for my password to an Apple ID email that no longer exists as an account. How do I change my Apple ID address without having to change the primary address to a non-existent email account?

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I keep getting calls from non existing area codes and phone numbers. They are never the same number twice. How do I stop this?

About a week ago I started getting phone calls on my cell phone from numbers that do not exist, including the area codes. I can not report these to the Do Not Call list because the area code is non existent. I'm getting these calls all the time now and never from the same number twice so there's no point in blocking them. If I answer I may or may not get a person who has an accent from India so heavy that I can't understand what they are saying. This is getting to the point where I just want to cry I'm so frustrated. Anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to stop it?

Add "Targets" attribute to the connection pool. You may
get an idea how it looks like by searching config.xml
for "targets". If target servers are not set, the pool won't be
deployed and can not be used to a create datasource.

Usage tracking problem : not started due to non-existent Usage Tracking tab

Hello,
I need some help after following the necessary steps to setup 'Usage Tracking'.
My table S_NQ_ACCT stays empty.
The structure in the rpd files looks like

Connection Pool

My nqsconfig has the following entries related to usage tracking

What am I doing wrong??

Can you post your entire NQSConfig.INI file?
According to the message guide (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12103_01/books/AnyMsg/AnyMsg_Messages.html#wp1007961) the error you're getting specifies the table that OBIEE is trying to use, so the fact that yours reports literally "<Database>"."<Catalog>"."<Schema>"."<Table>" makes me think maybe the wrong config is being picked up. Also your comment that using a file instead of DB doesn't work either.

What's with the non-existant free trial download for Photoshop? You click on "Download free trial" and it takes you to a page that takes you to a forum… nothing happens. I've done this about 6 times on two browsers. Of course, there's no help from Adobe, so I'm trying this forum. Thanks!

Something's fishy...

InDesign CS6: preflight & non-existent overset text in my document.

Hi,
I’m using InDesign CS6. The preflight lists overset errors. When I click on the page icon and go to where the overset txt is supposed to be…there is none.
I deleted EVERYTHING in the entire document, then did a SAVE-AS a new name; restarted InDesign; opened the empty document...and it still says I have overset text. I’ve had this issue before with other documents and just ignored the errors after hours of trying to fix the non-existent overset text - but other people have to use my documents. Having errors is an issue with shared documents. I started a chat with an adobe tech support person, but they had no idea what the problem is. Is this a bug? More importantly, is there a fix?

I have a document with a similar issue. I just opened it just to check. When I click on the overset and click somewhere else, I get an empty text frame. I guess that's what happens to you as well. I turned on Show Hidden Characters and noticed that somehow I had at the bottom of the page a paragraph sign (probably I hit enter at the end without noticing it). I just deleted it and now is fine. Turn on the Show Hidden Characters and see if something shows up at the end of your document.
