Subreport repeating and supress the new page
Hi, I make a report with Crystal report and I use a subreport.
This subreport is repeating some information. Why when a subreport is repeating something it begin on a new page.
I subreport which doesn't repeat it's ok but the other.
It's possible to say that it begin where I will.
If someone has an idea.

It is with the different section make sure that you have checked this option : conserve unity, it's the check box before delete the empty section.
Try it and I hope this will work.

Passing a request to another page and displaying the new pages URL
I've got a number of pages on my site that communicate with a database. Everything is working well but I am now trying protect myself from Stupid User Errors.
Specifically when a user performs a database operation and then hits the refresh button repeatedly on the page that did the operation. (SQL Inserts are particularly ugly in this situation)
My problem is that both the data handling and the resulting page rely on information in the request object from the original form.
I've tried processing the information on one page and then sending a redirect but this loses the request object. I've also tried using the forward method but it only displays the result page, it doesn't actually send the user there so refreshes will still mess me up.
What I really want is to do all my SQL operations on one page and then send them to a results page that can be refreshed as many times as they like without corrupting my database.
Any ideas?
PeteThe thought occurs to me that if you call an INSERT operation on your database, the database itself will employ deadlocks to prevent someone else (such as a refreshed session) from inserting into the database until the first query is completed.
So one thing you could do is modify your class object to first do a one-tuple SELECT and compare it with your INSERT statement. If the line exists, then abort the INSERT. This is more compute-intensive, but it is about the only way you can guarantee that regardless of the session-tracking technique you use, the desired value will never be inserted twice.
You should double check with your local DBA though - some databases actually do ignore multiple inserts if all of the field values are the same as an existing record, and other databases are tweaked such that updating a record over and over incurs a very minor performance hit such that it's not worth guarding against such a situation.
The only time I would be worried is if you somehow record a timestamp of when the information was actually submitted. And that's fairly easy to fix with Javascript - once the fields are filled in, mark a hidden field. If the fields change subsequently, change the hidden field. If the fields don't change (i.e., person submits over and over), then you keep the original timestamp, the tuple is exactly the same and the database ignores the duplicate INSERT. -

I have a form with one Window -> Main Window, in this Window it will be written many different information... there is also a table, when the table cause a new-page, the header (discription of the table) should be written (repeated) also on the new page.
Im trying to find out, how i can get the page number in the print-programm... but I dont found any variable (print_co-actpage doesnt work)

I'm sure you've got around your requirement by now, but for future reference you can get the page number into your print program by calling the function module 'GET_TEXTSYMBOL'.

start_offset = 0
importing value = lv_page.

I don't understand why recently with the new "pages" my computer stops responding. When I go to fix some grammar all of a sudden the little colored circle begins to appear and won't go away I restart my computer.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time after you had the problem. Select the messages logged before the boot, while the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the entire contents of the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post any other kind of report — it will be very long and not helpful. -
I am trying to save a document with the new Pages and it is only saving as a ZIP file anyone know how to fix this or choose a different file type?
Take a look at the FileSelector
First make sure the FileSelector is expanded so you can see the directory and sidebar. That's what the little disclosure triangle up by the filename is for. Once the FS has been expanded to look like the above picture, look to see what subdirectory has been selected. Use the SideBar to select an appropriate one. -
When I click "Search" in the Firefox Google Toolbar it closes (it makes me leave) the web page I'm already on. I want to have the page I'm on and the new page available when I click "Search." Is this possible? Can I at least get a tab for the new page? thanks

I can't copy an entire page or rearrange the pages. I use this feature a lot, particularly at this time of year. Can't seen to rmove the header and footer markers either.
Can anyone help or do I need to revert back to pages 09?

I don't like this new one. Many of the graphics features have been removed. Not impressed at all. Very frustrated.
The business card templates and others behave strangly. If I insert a page it's blank only. I don't get the guides. I was in the middle of a design project and had to start again from scratch as it threw everything out of alignment and I can't copy an entire page. When I use select all, group then copy when I pasted it on the new page it overlayed all the cards in the top two segments. Frustrating ! I ended up saving my first page under a different name that was the only way to copy the page then I had to work between three documents instead of one.
I went in today to last years Christmas tag file and the same issues I can't copy a page. I can't rearrange the pages.

I have just downloaded Mac OS X 10.9 and Pages 5. When I open any pre-existing document in the new Pages the format is zoomed to 125%, the headers are out of position, the margins are changes, and inserted images are also relocated. What can I do?

I am able to open the document through finder, but I can't with Pages '09.
I have the latest operating system on my '09 macbook pro. My old pages is pages '09.
When this document was created I didn't realize I did it under Pages 5.1, which I now realize is limited in capabilities so it can speak to iOS devices through iCloud.
I duplicated that file, renamed it "Yardening copy" and exported to Pages '09. I see the file in the pages listing, but when I try to open it there I get a warning that I need to download the new Pages 5.1... which I have on my computer. I even tried to email it to myself hoping that might work on a lark, but the file is too larg being that it includes pictures.
I can find the copy via finder, and yes, double click it and it opens... but I'm assuming it is using Pages 5.1 to do so.
Do I really have to copy and past all the info on this document onto a new Pages '09 document where I want to maintain my master library of documents? -
I downloaded some upgrade for pages, (not the new version for $19.95) now my computer will not open previous pages documents on my desktop without me buying the new version. I am not interested in the new version as I have seen numerous negative comments. I simply want my system to work as it did before Apple pulled this trick to force me into buying the new pages. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have work to do !
You are aware that Pages for Mac and Pages for iPad /iPhone/iPod are 2 different program?

I created a large document earlier this year in Pages 09 ... over 100 pages and it has screen prints, pictures and text boxes ... when I try to open it in the new Pages 5.5.1, all of these pics, text boxes, etc, are missing!!! I can open it in the old Pages, and they are all there, but in the new Pages, half of my document is missing! I want to have it work in the new Pages because what if I upgrade to a new computer ... I will not have access to Pages 09 anymore! Plus, the "Page Layout" option is missing in Pages 5.5.1 - what was Apple thinking with this update? Please help!
Bean doesn't do layout and is no longer being developed.
MsOffice or LibreOffice [free] are alternatives but not at the moment 100% solutions.
MsOffice has most of the features in a clumsier fashion in most cases but is a bit of a kludge on the Mac.
LibreOffice has a rather rough user interface and still lacks Pages '09 features.
Really we are in Limbo until we get something else completely.
For office work, I suggest LibreOffice or NisusWriter. Just so you can still get at it in the future.
I have been warning about this inevitability for years. Hasn't made me popular.

I just downloaded and installed the new iTunes on a Toshiba Satelite of some age. It was just completely reformated and updated with XP. iTunes will not open. The terms page comes up and when I agree it disappears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

I used to be alble to double click and open a new page but that is no longer an option. Because you cant get a total view of the playlist it is almost impossible.. if a song is in position 95 and I want to put it at 3 I have to hold it and drag it till the curor moves.. This makes creating an order almnost impossible because you cn only see half of the songs

They changed Final Cut Pro, so now I use Premier Pro
Aperture 3 has been left behind so now I moved to Lightroom 4.
And now Pages 5 does not have a vital component, so back to Word.

Hi, I cannot move 2 new folders and 10 iViews from my DEV portal to my QC portal. When I try, the package shows up in QC, but when I look at the package, a yellow triangle with a exclamation point inside shows to the immediate left of the items to m
