Subscribe button producing infinite "Purchasing subscription..."

Hi,
We have already had our free multi-folio app approved by Apple, however we noticed that the subscribe option does not work as expected, there is no prompt to "Share your info".
We realised that there was a discrepency between the In App Purchase ID and the Product ID specified when creating the App. I have resolved this now so that it ties to the App to the correct In App purchase ID.
Before resubmitting an update of the App to Apple I'm testing the .ipa file, the subscription process now starts and it gives the prompt to share info, but then hangs showing "Purchasing Subscription..." at the top indefinitely.
I'm logging in using a sandbox test account setup in itunes connect, as specified in the documentation. Should the subscription process complete successfully using a test account or is this something that will only work properly once its live?
Is there anything else that could be causing the subscription process to hang at this point?

Hi Ross,
What you have in Itunes Connect is correct (Fathom1)
What you have in the DPS App builder is correct (Fathom1)
What you have in the Folio Producer is not incorrect but I would make sure not to use the same product ID you already use for your free subscription.
I would use a different naming convention, say 'com.Fathom.folio1' for the first issue, 'com.Fathom.folio2' for the 2nd issue ..etc
Please note:
What I mentioned earlier about 'product ID for your folios (DPS Folio Producer) matching an individual in-app purchase product ID (iTunes Connect)' is only valid for retail folios.
As far as I know you do not need this for a Free Subscription App.

I tested this by creating an App and I can confirm the fact you had '"Purchasing Subscription..."' looping at the top with no prompt to share info is due to the fact you used the Apple numerical ID instead of the product ID.
Last but not least, do check the status of your Free subscription in iTunes Connect.
If it's Ready to Submit, you'll need to select the Free subscription for the App and upload the binary .. watch out for that big yellow warning in iTunes Connect:

New site created in iWeb, Podcast works, but the Subscribe button doesn't!

I created a new site in iWeb at http://www.adamonearth.com be great if you could help out a little! I am very happy with the site turned out!
But I have been trying to get the Video Podcast subscription link to work for a while now, but the Podcast Subscribe button on my Video Podcast page does not work. For some reason iWeb adds in /adamonearth.com after the website domain, like this... itpc://www.adamonearth.com/adamonearth.com/Video%20Podcast/rss.xml
So if you go to my site at http://www.adamonearth.com and click onto Video Podcast the Subscribe button is on there.
iWeb won't allow me to edit it either. Be great if you know of any ideas to amend it!
Also be great if you let me know what you think of the site overall.

Thanks so much for all your help, I really appreciate it.
I fixed the name of the site and called it 'Holly' I now have the Video Podcast link working but one problem, when you enter the website address:
http://www.adamonearth.com
It goes to the Index Of/ page then you need to select 'Holly' which is the folder name for it to divert to the Welcome.html page.
I have put up a directory listing for you http://www.adamonearth.com/54512.tiff
I have tried moving the Welcome.html page above the Holly folder but that then does not link to the other pages correctly.
From what I can see I have done everything right this time, as the Podcast link works in iTunes now.
Any help would be great.

Process of purchasing subscription reloads HTML banner in the library tab.

Hi there!
Finally I finished my first HTML banner for the library tab.
I have a collection of banners with different types:
- subscribe
- buy/download issue
- itunes link
- go to another tab
- watch video fullscreen
etc.
Everything works fine. Only one problem - during process of purchasing subscription my banner reloads four times:
- after "Sign In" dialog > Use Existing Apple ID
- before "Confirm Your Subscription" dialog
- after confirmation (or cancelation)
- and after "Share Your Information" dialog, there I finally got adobeDPS.receiptService.newReceiptsAvailableSignal.
Is this normal behavior?

Making a subscribe button?

Hi!
Very pleased with my efforts today!
Managed to publish my first podcast and itunes picks it up if you type the feed into the box.
Next question....is there any way to create a subscribe button to add to a web page so that people can just click it and itunes finds it itself?

Here is another option that doesn't require you to have an iTunes Store Account:
Make subscriptions one-click simple
The simplest possible link you can send or post to your site is the podcast feed URL. It usually looks something like: http://www.example.com/feed.xml
Many bloggers and site owners post the link as-is. To make a one-click subscription link, instead of “http”, add "itpc" in front of your podcast’s url to make subscription one-click simple. For example:
itpc://www.example.com/podcast.xml
iTunes immediately takes over and begins downloading the first episode.
Of course you can make it a button by using HTML code and supplying itpc://www.example.com/podcast.xml as the link.

Purchasing Subscription

I've created an App Viewer ("Synergy Magazine" ) for Newsstand as a free subscription. I've noticed after subscribing to the app in Newsstand the "Purchasing Subscription" in the header bar just spins and the subscribe banner never goes away after subscribing. I also, recive an email that I've subscribed to the app. I have no idea if this effects the users subscription status with the app and Adobe Analyitics. Further, I don't now how to fix it. I've tried subscribing on other devices and run into the same problem. Is this a problem with the way I setup Free in Manage Subscriptions with apple or is it something I did wrong in App builder?

Yes, the subscription type is set to FREE and the correct ID is being used. No readers have faced the issue that I know of, but its still early. I will try doing a rebuild test. Should the subscribing method work the same in the Developer test build as it would in the Distribution app?

Delete button in process purchase order

Hi All,
I need some informaiton on the "Delete" button in process purchase order screen.
Has it been enabled only for held POs? It is disabled in case of ordered POs. Can we enable it for ordered POs?
Also, I put an ordered PO on hold and after that I could see the delete button enabled in PO. When I delete it, it is giving me the message "Your order was deleted". But still I could able to see the Po in the system.
Is there a note or SAP help describing this? Plz help.

Once the PO is published, you cannot delete it. If you have created a change version for the published PO, you can delete the change version but not already published PO.

RSS subscribe button not working in my blog

Hi there
I created a site for a game I am playing but the RSS subscribe button isn't working it just goes back to the home page.
The site is hosted on MobileMe and the url to the blog page is http://www.tttblog.co.uk/, and click on the blog link ( this isn't a shameless plug ) I just need get the RSS feed working
not sure what other information you require, I have set this to be my personal domain in the MobileMe console

You're hiding the pages with it.

How do you get the Photos 'subscribe' button to work.

So i've been trying to figure out how to use the 'subscribe' button in iphoto. I'm guessing this means someone will get an email everytime I post a new photo, if they click subscribe? When i click it on my site it goes to a 'page not found' page. Here's my website: www.southbaycruisers.com

BOM button in STO purchase order

Dear SAPERS,
We have a requirement from our client, that is
They need BOM explode button and Components button in STO Purchase order with Item Category U in Material master tab, just like in Subcontract Purchase Order Item category L.
Actually Those BOM and components buttons are it self are include programs which are executed based on Item category.
Please provide solution that how we can achieve this functionality for STO purchase orders.

Actually our requirement is from Plant A some components are STO done to Plant B via Sales cycle, In plant B the components are converted to Finished Product and then soled to customer for plant B.
At time of PGI from Plant A to Plant B system will generate Sl. numbers for those components at the time PGI
So, We need the BOM concept in STO via BOM explode and Components button in STO PO, from this po bom system will get the list of components in PGI in sales.

Subscribe button on published gallery on personal domain

Hello!
Wondering if anyone knows how to disengage the "Subscribe" button on the galleries I publish to my perosnal domain... I need to make this button go away or unclickable!

Hello. On the gallery, click to select the gallery. Then on the inspector, I believe on the RSS tab, there is a checkbox to allow someone to subscribe.. You can uncheck it. If I'm wrong about the RSS tab, then it's one of the tabs right next to it.. Sorry, i'm away from my mac right now, but I know it's in the inspector..

Downloading iWeb podcasts without "Subscribe" button?

My "enhanced" podcast (photos & audio) in an iWeb podcast page runs fine in a QT window. But what if I don't want a "Subscribe" button on my page or my podcast published on the iTunes Store?
...How can a visitor simply download the podcast (right now) to put in iTunes on their computer and perhaps then onto an iPod?
Control-clicking on the QT window gives the option of "Save as QuickTime Movie" only if the visitor has QT Pro. But is there a way for a visitor to download/save the m4a/m4b file as a podcast from my iWeb Podcast page?
(Perhaps I'm missing something really simple here.)

A workaround for non QuickTime Pro owners.
Archive the file (Finder will add .zip to its name) and then use the "Link to File" option of iWeb.
A .zip file will always download and open (expand) with a double click.
Drawback is that now two files must upload which wastes bandwidth and server space.

Subscribe button doesn't work

I have my iWeb site forwarded to a personal domain site, but published through .Mac. Whenever I click on my RSS Subscribe button I am taken to a page that says "Object not found" Anybody know what I should do?

It would be easier to help if you would provide the url so someone can see what is happening. But it sounds like you might be using forwarding plus masking/cloaking, which sometimes makes RSS not work right. If so, you can try using the CNAME method instead.

IWeb Subscribe Button

I have created a podcast with Garageband and published it to IWeb. My subscribe
button will not work. Has anyone had the same problem? I just updated to I life 08 a
couple of months ago.

When I updated to Ilife 08 wouldn't that have updated everything? If not how would I update the support part?

RSS & Subscribe Button Problems

Having major problems with subscribe button for Podcast on website created with iWeb... (www.jumpstartguidestv.com)
We publish everything to a folder and then drag the contents of exported folder onto the web server. The problem is the RSS refers to the exported folder itself.. is there a way to control/reprogram the RSS link in iWeb? I'm not sure if this makes any sense.
Any help would be appreciated!

You need to upload the folder which has the same name as your site does inside iWeb, plus the index.html file which is published alongside it. That is how iWeb is designed to work. By just putting the contents of that folder on the server you are breaking the site structure and the RSS links.
Since it is ugly to have your domain name repeated twice in your urls, best to rename your site inside iWeb to something short, like "jstv" instead of "jumpstartguidestv.com" and republish before reuploading correctly.

When I save my site to a folder and try to upload the folder to my host provider, the RSS subscribe button shows the following:

The problem seems to be that LU3407 needs to be taken out for this button to work. What is the best way to edit the html code for iWeb or the easiest way to fix this problem?
The line should look like:
http://www.cwa3407.org/Blog/rss.xml
I can not figure out a way to save my file, without this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

The RSS doesn't work because you broke the site structure created by iWeb by not uploading a key part of it. You need to upload the folder LU3407 and the index.html file published alongside it. If you just upload the contents of that folder, the links aren't right.
