Hi
How would I subscribe to another view to the one I'm currently coding in?
I wish to subscribe to an event in one view but have the action that is triggered in another event.
Is this possible and if so recommended?

It turned out that what I was doing was incorrect anyway. What I am now trying to achieve is to subscribe to the urn:com.sapportal.portal:browser, load event.
Do you know if this can be used in WDA as well as WDJ?
I have also used a timed trigger - which works - but unfortunately the minimum delay is 1 second which is too long.

From The PAM choose the link SAP Application Components->SAP CRM.
Then pick your release of CRM. Then in the release detail information, choose the web browser and/or web browser platform tabs.
I.e. I did this for CRM 4.0 and found that basically only IE was supported for IC webclient.

3GS GPS - Way out on accuracy - any other solutions apart from these:

This seems to be a common theme from what Ive gathered.
Ive tried;
Rebooting the handset
Switching 3G Data off
Switching the compass from true to magnetic north
And yet the location is consistently wrong using, Google Maps, Google Earth, a Twitter app which uses your location, and a third party application which uses the GPS.
I have the latest software on the handset. And Ive tried using the gps both at home and in the city centre where I work.
Everytime it says Im way away from where I actually am.
I have the 3GS 32GB which is the top line model. Surely this should not be an issue with this?! I have only had the handset for a few weeks.
Ive read up on the blue circle and the dots that show your location, and what they mean. Apparently as the sign indicating a near pin point accuracy is incorrect it suggests it could be a hardware failure.
Is there anyway to check this?

Almost 2 months ago I had the same problem.
I did almost everything.
So at the end I sent it to service.
Here in Greece the service time *****, so it took them 5 weeks to sent it back to me "fixed".
And I said "fixed" because I could have done it myself.
They just did a Reset Network thing.
It worked.
But I writing this to tell you as well that the case I had on my iphone was messing with the GPS signal.
Because before I sent it to service I did restore and reset everything (and network settings) but the iphone was still wearing the case.
When I receive it it worked for a day, and the next day began the same triangulation problems.
It showed me about 500m away.
What was the difference the case.
And how it regained the signal, by doing a Reset Network Settings.
From time to time it looks like it looses the signal, but with a Reset Network Settings it has it back.

[solved] pacman apart from core and extra repos

I just can't get pacman to update any other repos apart from core and extra since I am on arch64 - tried to change servers directly in pacman.conf and in the include files, unpacked the databases manually to /var/lib/pacman - can't seem to persue it though - what am I missing here?

CRM_DNO_MONITOR - way to customise display apart from 'change layout' ?

Hi friends,
In the transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR, there is a standard screen offering a few selection parameters.
Based on what you choose, the next screen is displayed with all those relevant messages.
There is a "Change Layout Button" as with many SAP reports. One can choose to include a further fields to get displayed on the report screen.
My questions are:
(1) Is there a way to include more fields than suggested by the "Change Layout" dialog box? For instance, I was keen to know why the following fields were not offered for selection:
a) Support Team
b) Subject (field name - LISTCODE)
(2) Is there a way to easily include Z fields as part of the Support Message (standard Transaction Type SLFN) and use such Z fields in display ?
(3) Is there any other transaction, apart from CRM_DNO_MONITOR that offers even better control on filtering/ sorting messages ?
Any suggestions and workarounds would be gratefuly acknowedged.

Being a person who started from 3.1 days, yes DNOTIFWL was my first port of call
However, what I realised was that if you set a notification to 'Completed', it does not automatically set the Message Status to 'Confirmed'. Therefore, the status values as seen by Testers from within STWB_WORK does not reflect the updated position.

At the moment, ii is not an option I have since there is no ABAP talent meant to serve SolMan stream. i is inadequate and iii doesn't help either, unfortunately.

Any other viewer available apart from CrystalReportsViewer?

Hi all,
having an unmanaged scenario, is there any other viewer available to display CrystalReports?
I have seen that the viewer in the JRC and the RAS seem to be the same. Is that true?
Do we have another possibility to display reports without the need of installing a server (we are using the push approach so no storage of reports, user handling or backend connection is needed)?

If data refresh is not a requirement (i.e., you're only pushing rpt files with Saved Data), then the Crystal Report Viewer XI may be a possibility:

Improving audio quality from a subscriber point of view

Hi,
I am building an application that requires audio chat. When the chat is happening between an Android user and a PC user, the PC user can hear clearly when the Android user speaks. However, when it is the other way around, the Android user hear distorted sound,with noises. Is there any way to improve audio received from a subscriber point of view?

I cant get itunes on my new laptop. My laptop says I have to remove itunes from another computer as I can only have it on 5. Problem is that apart from my ipad, I no longer have the others as they were either broken beyond repair or lost. Any ideas?

I am not good with computers. I am trying to get my iTunes onto this new laptop but it says I am only allowed to have it on 5 computers and I must take it off one to ut it on this new laptop. You can only authorise the songs you purchase from the iTunes Store to play on five computers.
You can download and install iTunes (the iTunes programme) onto as many computers as you wish.
Two different things.
Assuming therefore, that your problem is that you have authorised five computers, but now no longer have some of them, you need to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise the computers you still have.
To de-authorise your computers, go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the Deauthorise All button.

BC4J,Setting a default Value In a View With Data From An Other View

I'm developping A BC4J. I want to set the default value of a field By counting the number of rows in an other view.
So I want to instanciate the view and execute the sql statement and get the result.
Is that the right manner to do it or not.

There's lots of ways to skin this cat depending upon whether you mean "database view" or "view object" when you say "view", and individual requirements.
Given database views v1 and v2 with a common key between them
select v1.x, count(*) from v1,v2 where v1.key = v2.key group by v1.x;
either in the database view or in expert mode for the view object ( I think it'll take group by, but never done it ). ( assumption is that v1.x is a primary key for v1 )...
Try this from sql*Plus first to get a feel for how this works.
The catch with the above is that it is "static"... if you can ADD rows to v2 in your application... they aren't visible in the count until saved and requeried.
Another way ( I think... hopefully Oracle folk will kibitz... )
Create your own attribute on the view object like "TheOtherCount".
In the view object's RowImpl, find the "getTheOtherCount". Find the count of rows in the second view object or entity object or rowSetInfo through the method of your choice. ( If you've already set up a master detail relationship that is active you can just get the rowcount! ). Refer to earlier postings on how to get the rowcount, or to create a dynamic view query to get the count.
The nice thing is that this should reflect your counts even if the second view has added or removed rows... but will probably move like a snail.
Note that if you have a need where you want the row count updated in a frame for v1 whenever v2 is added to or removed from... well... then you need to set up some sort of event listener to do a redisplay of v1's frame, I'd think? Since the attribute you've created in the view object is not based on an entity object attribute, it has no way to know when it has been "updated" via an additional or removed row from the target.
I'm posting the above because no one has responded yet... it may form a place to start from. And maybe someone in the know will go "No, No, No... KKirk... it doesn't work that way at all!" and fill us in on how this can be accomplished!

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

Displaying other columns/tables apart from a cross tab

Hi,
I designed an RTF template. This contains 3 tables. First table contains the invoice information. 2nd table is the cross tab and 3rd table contains the aging details. My requirement is to print the other tables in all pages if the cross tab goes to multiple pages. Presently all the tables are displayed in the 1st page only. If the cross tab output goes to next page then the 1st and 2nd tables are not being displayed in other pages.
Can anyone suggest me how to display the other columns/tables apart from cross tab columns if the cross tab output goes to multiple pages.

It isn't supposed to pair with the MacBook. You can use WiFi to connect but not Bluetooth. You can setup a personal HotSpot on the iPhone and connect the MacBook, or setup the MacBook AirPort to create a network and attach the iPhone, and use the USB cable to connect the iPhone to the MacBook for syncing and backup purposes.
The communications are rather limited.
