Subscribed calendar does not show up, subscribed calendar does not show up on i pad, subscribed calendar does not show up on i pad

I have subscribed to a google calendar for Christian Holidays and even though it authenticated and is checked on the calendar list it does no dates appear on calendar  ANY HELP PLEASE?

This has happened to other people and if you have first checked to make sure the App didn't go to a different page (swipe your screen to the left and see if there are other pages it might have loaded to), then reboot your iPad.  For some reason that seems to solve the mystery of the missing iBooks app.  To reboot, hold your home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart.  For other's when their iPad came back up, the iBooks app was there.........

  • My subscribed calendar does not display in today view in iOS7. Does anyone know how to make it show up?

I have a subscribed calendar on my iPhone. The today view in notification center shows that I have an event at xxxx and tomorrow view says I have x events but the calendar day view does not display any of the events. I need this so I can easily see which rooms my events are in. Dows anyone know how to make the subscribed calendar show up in calendar day view?

Interesting. May have uncovered a bug. It seems that limited duration events will display, but all day events wont on mine. (iPhone 5). Does that compare to what you are seeing (unfortunately, I have nothing in a subscribed calendar until the week end, so difficult to check. I do seem to recall seeing an event from one this past week end on the iPad, however).

  • Why do my Outlook subscribed calendars not show up on my PC iCloud calendar?

Why don't my Outlook subscribed calendars (holidays, LHMUG meetings) show up on my PC iCloud calendar? They are on Outlook, but don't carry over?

iCloud is a CalDav subscription server, you subscribe to its calendars, it does not subscribe to yours unfortunately.
So move your calendars from Outlooks local folders to the iCloud account.

  • Subscribed calendars "Show Calendar On MobileMe" not available

Anyone know why the "Show Calendar On MobileMe" option is available on some webcal://ical.me.com based subscribed calendars but not others?
For example, in my iCal, two subscribed calendars originating from the same MobileMe user (URL webcal://ical.me.com/{username}/{calendarName}.ics) allow the "Show Calendar On MobileMe" option. Yet another subscribed calendar originating from another MobileMe user (URL webcal://ical.me.com/{anotherUsername}/{anotherCalendarName}.ics), does not offer the "Show Calendar On MobileMe" option.
Am running MacOS 10.5.8 (iCal 3.0.8). I, too, have a MobileMe account, btw.
    Thanks for any help!

I seem to be having the same problem with repeated appointments:
I have an appointment with a start date of Tue 2nd Sept and an end date of Wed 3rd (created on iphone).
On mobileme.com it appears on Thursday 4th as well.
The appointment appears correctly in iCal (synced through mobileme, not iTunes).
Looks like a bug to me.

    jd,
Instead of using the Apple supplied Jewish Holiday Calendar, try http://www.hebcal.com/ical/

  • MobileMe Subscribed Calendars NOT SHOWING

I have one subscribed calendar on one of my two macs (imac and macbook). I have set up MobileMe on both computers but subscribed calendars do not show up when logged into mobileme online.

Ben, I'm not sure whether I understand you. Is the following correct? You have subscribed to a "third-party" calendar, like a Google Calendar or such as [the ones provided by Apple|http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars> for example. And now you want the events of that subscribed calendar to sync with MobileMe?
If that's a correct summary, then read [this article on Macworld.com|http://www.macworld.com/article/134901/2008/08/mobilemecalsync.htm l?lsrc=rsstopics_mac_os_xleopard] (click the link) as well as [this Knowledge Base article|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1213] by Apple.
    Hope that helps.

I have subscribed to US Holidays calendar in iCal. These holidays show up in iCal on my iPhone and on my iPad, but not on iMac. When I "get info" for that calendar, "location" is set to iCloud.

I found this link (trash Calendar Cache and iCal.plist), and it solved my problem. https://discussions.apple.com/message/11084987?searchText=ical%20us%20holidays%2 0not%20showing%20on%20imac#11084987

  • Un -subscribed calendars showing in up in some lists but not in ical

    Hi
Sorry i have an odd problem that i can't seem to solve.
I'm using 10.6.4 and mobile me to sync data across multiple devices i have recently bought an ipad and on turning mobile me syncing on, some old subscribed calendars have "popped up" on the ipad (which i thought was impossible !)
e.g. UK holidays was once subscribed in ical on my mac but had been deleted - this is now showing with current events and is listed twice in the calendar drop down on the ipad calendar app
in trying to resolve this i have noticed that the once subscribed calendars do show in itunes on the info tab twice (ITUNES > MY DEVICE > INFO > CALENDARS) so they must be held some where on my mac but
    1) how can i get rid of them from my mac?
    2) how can i get rid of them off my ipad?
i have tried resting mobile me data on mobile me
deleting All calendars and restoring to a previous back up
none have got rid of these calendars
    any suggestions would be great!

Isolating this problem will likely require obtaining the account usernames and a possibly a request to share your content with someone at Adobe.  Rather than asking you to provide that on the forum, I would recommend that you forward your description to [email protected]  Someone will contact you directly to obtain the necessary details for the investigation.
    Thanks,
    Michelle

  • Subscribed calendar does not disappear after deletion

Hi, I recently deleted a subscription to a calendar on my iPhone, but all the events are still present in my iCloud. So how can I get rid of them?

    Hi Reygok,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue. If you are having issues removing a subscribed calendar or events from iCloud, you may find the following articles helpful:

  • ICal does not save authentication to subscribed calendars.

Since updating to Leopard I've noticed that iCal no longer saves my authentication to calendars that I've subscribed to that require authentication.
    Has anyone else noticed this?

Well, I found out the asnwer. I ended up in contact with someone at MobileMe who advised me that since the switch to CalDAV, the only way to accept meeting invitations with a response to the sender is if they are sent to your me.com email address. Otherwise, all that happens when you click the .ics file is that the event is added to iCal. Beware that you must open the event in iCal and click the "Accept" button (which doesn't send an acceptance email, though) in order to get the event to sync to your other Macs and iOS devices. I missed a couple of meetings before I figured this out.

  • Why is a subscribed calendar not updating in Calendar on iPhone?

There is a subscribed calendar I control which I use regularly in Calendar (iCal). When I make changes to the source of the calendar on the web, the changes to the subscribed calendar are very quickly update in Calendar on my MacBook, which I appreciate. However, this does not successfully occur in Calendar on my iPhone. I have been trying to figure out off-and-on for a couple weeks why it doesn't update in Calendar for iPhone. I have spent no less than ½-hour working on it, via trying to edit the calendar, look at settings, double-check which calendars are showing to make sure it's the correct one, etc., etc., and I cannot figure it out. Why are changes to a subscribed calendar showing up successfully in Calendar on Mac but not in Calendar on iPhone?

    Hey xcwomac.
I did some research and found this:

It worked out just fine for me, hope it helps you.
    Cheers.

    So,
The crazy thing is...all of this works fin on my iPhone.
But, my wife, she has an iPhone, and iPad, and a user lognin on our computer where she keeps all of her calendars.
She subscribes to my calendars as well.
If I add anything to my calendar...it show up on her mac and not her iphone or iPad.
If I add something to my iPhone, it shows up on the Mac, but not on the iPad.
If she adds something to my phone, it shows up on her Mac and not on her iPhone.
If SHE adds something to one of the calendars I have subscribed to...it works fine.
This  is getting very annoying as marital dstrife continues to build as we are unable to plan our week by simply looking at the clanedar before we schedule something.
    PLEASE!  ANYBODY!!
    HELP!!

    Hi Cara,
    Welcome to Discussions.
With iCal closed, try deleting it's preference file (User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist).
If this does not work try repairing permissions. Open Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility) and select your boot volume on the left and click Repair Permissions.
If neither of these work post back.

  • Subscribed calendars are not appearing in iCloud.

I subscribe to my wife's calendar and it appears fine in iCal on my iPhone 3gs and iPad2, both running ios5, as well as my MacBook. It does not show up in iCloud calendar. Is this really not supported?

If they are appearing on all those devices then it sounds like they are in iCloud. Perhaps because it is on her iCloud and not yours that is why it is not appearing on the web-based iCloud. Can you open the web-based iCloud calender and add her subscription? Or, ask her unshare, then reshare her calendar. That seems to help alot of problems here at the start of iCloud.

  • Subject does not show in subscribed ical calender

I am subscribed to two iCal calanders which are published thru .Mac. Since two weeks one of them does show there is an event with the associated time but there is no subject of the event visible. I checked the original calender and everything seems to be in order. Did a Apple-R (sorry don't know the term in Englisch as I am using the Dutch language in my OS and applications) on both computers but this did not help.
With the other calender everything is fine. On both new appointments are added regularly.

    G.D. Meijvogel,
    1. Use the iCal>File>Back Up Database... menu selection and save the Back Up to a suitable location.
    2. Try the iCal>Calendar>Unpublish... menu selection.
    3. Choose the iCal>Calendar>Publish... menu selection and check for functionality.
    4. If that is unsuccessful, repeat step (2.) and quit iCal on the publishing computer. Then find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in the Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder, and drag it to your Desktop. Log out/in or restart and start iCal.
    5. Next, use the ICal>Calendar>Publish...command on the publishing computer and check for functionality.
    Let us know what happens.
