Subscription Alertert

A few months before the creative Cloud was announced I signed up for subscriptions for both Photoshop Extended and Dreamweaver. Then I received an email from Adobe that my Photoshop Extended Subscription would be converted to the Creative Cloud and I would only be charged $29.00. Sure enough that happened without a hiccup.
I figured that my Dreamweaver Subscription would be discounted. So about a week after Creative Cloud was released I check my subscriptions and sure enough Dreamweaver was no longer listed. I figured great everything has worked out fine.
Then I received last months credit card bill and noticed that I had been charged for Dreamweaver and this month I receive an email notice from Adobe that I was being charged again this month for Dreamweaver.  I went online and check my subscriptions and to my astonishment not only was I being charged for Dreamweaver but also as of two months ago Adobe had renewed my subscription for Dreamweaver for another year. Note my original yearly subscription was not even close to coming do.
I am sure I can get this corrected with Adobe and when I have more time I will contact them about this but I thought I would post this to give a heads up to others who might find themselves in the same situation and not even realize what is happening.

Yeah, something must have went wrong with the conversion. Our customer service department should be able to help you get things straightened out.

  • Can I purchase Creative Cloud subscriptions for longer than one year at a time?

    I work in the design department of a large business, currently using Creative Suite 6 (Design Standard edition, which includes PS and AI).
    I'd like to get the some of the new CC features, but my manager won't commit to a turnkey month-to-month or even annual rental of Creative Cloud apps (it's a pain for our department's purchaser to have to do orders more than once a year). That said, if they could take care of, say, two years at once, I might get the software. Is this an option? I'm one of only a few folks who use Adobe software (it's not a design business; we're just part of a small design department, and all software purchases need to go through this person, after which they're reimbursed). I'm not interested in any of the extra storage or central administration options that come with the higher priced business subscription.

  • Subscriptions and email notifications

    Is there a way to subscribe simply to a single question I post rather than to the entire topic, which results in tons of emails? Or is there a way (as with Mozilla forums) to be notified when a response is made to a thread I post?

    Something seems to be broken in discussion subscriptions. Every morning I get a notification that the same thread has been updated, but it has not. Let me paste in a portion of the messages. Please note the dates are different but the link remains the same (with the same messageID):

  • Can I use my Creative cloud subscription on multiple devices?

    Hi, I am going to be subscribing to Creative Cloud but can I use that subscription on more than one device?
    I sometimes use my desktop, sometimes my laptop or tablet etc.  Will my Cloud subscription allow my to use the software on all my devices?
    Or is it a single device use only?

    A Cloud subscription allows you to have two working installations at a time.  You can sign out and sign in to enable other devices but the limit of two remains in force.  Whether or not you can install on all devices depends on whether or not the devices meets the system requirements for the software.

  • Can an annual subscription be upgraded mid year at a prorated rate?

    Does anybody know this?  Adobe doesn't appear to.  

    Correct you'll be prorated for the plan difference for the remainder of your existing subscription. 
    When upgrading the price plan for a yearly paid site within the paid period, you only pay the corresponding difference to the higher plan for the period between the upgrade date and the end of the paid period. The cycle does not restart. The difference is prorated for the remaining period.

  • How to Delete Multiple Subscriptions in iCal

    Hi everybody ... I've a problem with iCal cause it show me more than 100 subscriptions as birthdays etc .... i tried a method i found on the web to reset it completely but after a while it show everything back once again! I hate it! It is really slow right now.
    I also have a mobile me sync on the web and on iphone ... do anybody know a working method???

  • Why I can not connect more than one device at a time with a monthly subscription?

  • CC subscription just reverted to trial and no longer works (Flash CC / CS6)

    After six months of using Flash CS6 (Creative Cloud), last weekend I decided to try the Premiere CC Trial.
    That worked great and at the same time my Flash just switched to trial and became unusable (trial has expired already)
    I've tried everything suggested by Adobe Technical team so far and more which involves the usual unistalling everything and reinstalling, logging out and in, cleaner tool, etc.
    Still nothing will fix it.
    I think I noticed an update to the Creative Cloud app at about the same time - I'm wondering if it is this causing the issue....
    BTW, inside the Creative Cloud app, my account shows my valid subscription to both Flash CC and Flash CS6... and several other items show 'Install' rather than 'Try'
    Please help!

    I am so frustrated by this - I have already lost days of my time trying to fix this. Not to mention the thrill of paying for software I can't use.
    I have literally uninstalled and reinstalled everything I can think of a dozen times or more.. seen the post you mention already.
    I have never changed languages... seen all the other stuff on the other thread too.
    But guess what.. that is all pretty irrelevant because I was assuming that this was something to do with my particular machine.. but it isn't.
    The proof? I went to my Mac which can also run the CC software and has been doing so just fine.. till.. you guessed it.. today..
    Just tried that and the same thing has happened.. all reverted to trial.
    So it is at your end... on your servers.. it has to be, right?
    And all this nonsense you are dishing out here is just a massive waste of time. Well I'll need to fume in the corner for a bit longer I'm afraid.....
    So.. trying to get calm and rational again...
    The only thing I have changed on my account online is my id and password because I have literally tried everything I could think of... even that.
    So my adobe id has changed.
    I am signing into CC with the correct id and password.
    Unless you are going to tell me that that has broken my Mac versions then please do let me know what on earth is supposed to be going on here...

  • Verizon iPad2 Active Subscription but Activation Fails

    Hello All,
    I'm hoping some smart apple people in these forums can help. I recently tried to activate my cellular data plan on my new Verizon iPad2 I picked up on launch day. I was able to complete the process of selecting a data plan and processing my payment information. In my Settings -> About menu I see my cellular data number (data phone number) assigned telling me that I have a data account now, and the PRL number has been updated to 52070 (another indicator that a data plan is active).
    Now my problem is data is not working at all. When I try to open the App Store or browse the web I get an error saying I have not signed up for a data plan. Going back into Settings -> Cellular Data -> View Account I am show a screen that says "Service Already Active. Your iPad is already active on a subscription plan that cannot be managed on this device. Please call customer service at 800-786-8419 (verizon customer service sales number) if you have any questions." I also get popups saying Data Plan Activation Failure. Your Verizon cellular data plan did not successfully activate.
    In a not so short time I spent a little over an hour on the phone with Verizon Tech Support and they had no idea how to fix this. I was told to reset my iPad back to factory setting, which I did via the iPad first, then via itunes with the restore function, and finally via Xcode with the Restore iPad function. All of which restore my iPad to it original state with the exception of cellular data. I am still getting the same problem, with no fix in sight.
    Has anyone else had this issue, and if so have you been able to fix it?
    I've also pulled the device log where I see some issues around the cellular data connection.

    Wow. Sorry to hear that. You shouldn't need any special applications.
    I've enjoyed the Verizon network.  AT&T doesn't have coverage in Nebraska and other rural areas I visit and Verizon does. 
    I was impressed with the Verizon technical support people I talked to - called the 800 number that comes up on the iPad. I tried but can't get to the number now that everything is working.

    Never been impressed with anyone at Best Buy - though I bought my iPad at one.
    AT&T has been OK for my iPhone in large metro areas - get dropped calls occasionally.

  • Reporting Services 2012 for SharePoint and SQL Server Agent "Subscriptions and Alerts"

    After installing Reporting Services for SharePoint (Denali) in my test farm, I'm trying to configure the "SQL Server Agent" access for Reporting Services.  From Central Admin I'm going to the Reporting Service applicaiton configuration screen and selecting
    "Provision Subscriptions and Alerts".  I've tried both options on this screen.  I've manually executed the "download sql script" in SQL Server, as well as entering a user with SQL sys admin rights on the SQL server into the login fields on the screen. 
    The role and permissions have been created for the application pool service account, but Reporting Services is still trying to connect with the annonymous login because I'm getting the following alert each time I open the "Provision Subscriptions and Alerts"
    screen:
    Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'
    The "status" on the screen still shows "SQL Server Agent State cannot be determined".  Has anyone else seen this?

    1) Looks like the new Reporting Services does not run as a Windows Service so it's not listed in the "Configure Service Accounts" pulldown.  As a result, I don't see how to set the service account.  It's only assigned to an application pool. 
    I installed it into an existing application pool and that application pool "is" in the list and has a domain service account already assigned.
    2) Which users need to be in here in order to configure the "Provision Subscriptions and Alerts" screen?  I already have the farm admin account which is the account I use when running Central Admin.
    3) As mentioned in #1, I've installed Reporting Services into an existing application pool with other service apps.
    4) This link is for Reporting Services 2008 R2 which is very different install process.  But I did follow the SQL Server Reporting Services 2012 RC0 installation instructions and the Reporting Services is functioning correctly with no errors. 
    I'm just not able to configure the sceduling the alerting with interfaces with the SQL Server Agent.

  • Renew subscription EVERY time I launch an app??

    Hey guys, I was asked by the AdobeCare Twitter Account to post my issue in this forum, so here I am:
    I recently subscribed to a Adobe CC membership and everything worked fine when I had the CS6.
    Now since the CC Versions were released, I wanted to update of course. So I did.
    Since then I am constantly haveing the same issue: I can not launch an app without having to do so many steps!
    Here is what I have to do in order to open up any app (I have to do this EVERY time I launch an app..meaning when I open PS I do this, when I open ID I do this etc)
    1) I click on the icon of the app (in this example PS)
    2) I get the following "error":
    (it is asking me to renew my subscription)
    3) I click on "try again" and I get this message:
    (it says "Thank you, your subscription for CC is now activated")
    4) I click on "Continue" and get this message (again):
    So I click on "Do you have another Adobe-ID?" and get to see this window:
    ... where I type in my Password and click on "Sign in" resulting in this:
    and finally after clicking on "accept" in this:
    ...which basically is the same windows I get to see right at the beginning.
    At this point I want to mention again that I have to do this  e v e r y t i m e  I start an app, for each app I have to run through all of these steps and if I close an app by accident and re-open it, I have to do this again.
    I already tried to delete that file in the OOBE folder, did not work out.
    Also, I am lacking all the presets in Premiere Pro (Digital DSLR etc) which makes me think, that all of my apps are running in trial mode..? At least I had this issue, when I launched Premiere as a trial in the past.
    Don't get me wrong..But this is totally annoying and kills my workflow.
    Any help? I would greatly appreciate it!

    On the device that you don't want the apps to be downloaded on, go to Settings > iTunes &amp; App Stores > Automatic Downloads. Once you turn that off, your problem will be fixed.

    Yes. Many Creative Cloud plans include Acrobat Pro DC with Document Cloud services. Explore Creative Cloud plans.
    However, if I follow the link to Creative Cloud plans, there is nothing to tell me whether Acrobat Proc DC is included in any of the plans. My plan is a yearly individual at $49.99/month.

  • I bought a spartacus guide a year ago in the AppStore,  but then I changed my iPad to the new one. Now I can not find this program in the store to reinstall, and today O got a bill, that I was billed for the automatically subscription,

    So, what happened to Spartacus guide, can I download it, or can I get my money back?

    If it is still in your country's store then you should be able to re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad/
    If it isn't then do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes or on a backup of your downloads that you can use to re-sync to your iPad ?
    If it's not in your country's store and you don't have a copy for syncing back then you try contacting iTunes support and see if they will refund or credit you (but a lot of subscriptions say that refunds aren't given) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    I have attempted this both in Firefox and Chrome with the same result in each.

    Hi - thanks for reporting this.  I have gone ahead and stopped your membership.  You will continue to have access until 27 May, 2013.
