Subscription discount for online numbers?

Subscribers used to get 50% off online numbers, but I no longer see any mention of this - is this still true for the unlimited subscriptions?

Any Subscription to a Call Plan (Limited or Unlimited) qualifies for an Online # discount.

Discount for online number available?

Hello,
I am thinking about purchasing a Skype online number for my UK business.
At the moment, it says on Skypes website that there is a 50% discount for existing subscribers. I think this does not apply to me because this would be my first online number.
But I remember that there was some offer a while ago where you were able to receive credit towards your other subscriptions when buying an online number.
Can anybody please help and tell me what is the best and cheapest way to get the online number or if there are any promotions or discounts currently available , hidden on Skype's website??

I've search high and low on this forum and others and am unable to determine if there are Online Numbers available for Hawaii (80. I mean if you can get an online number for every other state in the country, why not Hawaii?

It would probably be one of two reasons...
1. Skype can't locate a company that provides the service (not likely).
2. The costs for obtaining these numbers from a provider are too high for Skype. Since Skype uses one price for Online Numbers no matter where they are located, Skype's cost has to be at or below a certain point in order to make it a viable option.

Online numbers not available in Tasmania Australia...

Many areas are available in Australia but apparently none in Tasmania where area codes are 0362, 0363 and 0364, the first of which is for the capitalcity and southern area of the state.
Is Tasmania likely to get this facility any time soon?

Unfortunately, the answer may be "no". Since Skype doesn't tend to give lots of advance notice when new areas are available for Online Numbers, you may want to bookmark the "Online Number" link below and periodically check on it. Tasmania is like Alaska, Hawaii, and a few other places on the US mainland that don't have Online Numbers. Maybe in the future, but not now....

Country list in Online Numbers?

Is there a reason Iceland is not on the list for online numbers? Is it possible to add it to the list of supported country´s?

Currently Iceland is not one of the countries listed for Online Numbers. It might be added in the future, but it depends on what kind of deal can Skype make with local phone operators there and of course the demand for it.
There is no date for it at the moment.

SKYPE ONLINE NUMBERS BEEN USED FOR FRAUD

There are group of people who are of Indian/Pakistani Origin that had device the means of using skype online numbers for fraud, I had tried to report to skype but there is no way to contact their customer services to no avail. I hope skype can fish out these mad set of people who conned people out of their hard earned money by pretending to be in UK because they were able to purchase a UK number through skype. How did you download the software? For Creative Cloud, you should download from http://creative.adobe.com (which will install through an application called AAM). If you have a trial installation, and bought Creative Cloud, that could be the cause.

Different voicemail message for two online numbers...

I have two online numbers. How can I set up a different voicemail message for my second online number? It currently plays the message I set up for my first online number and I see no way to do a message for each number. Do I have to have to set up a whole different Skype account, add an online number to it, just to have a different voicemail message?

Skype's Australian Online Numbers are not allowed to be used as Caller ID when calling from Skype. Only numbers from a few countries (Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Hong Kong, Poland, Sweden, the UK and the US) can be used as Caller ID when calilng telephones from Skype accounts.
I don't know the exact reason(s) why Australian Online Numbers can't be used for Caller ID. I have an Australian Online Number myself (a Melbourne 03 xxxx xxxx number). It could be limitations from Skype's partner in Australia that provides the Online Numbers and the connections to the Australian telephone network, or Australian regulations that prevent the use of these numbers as Caller ID.

I'm already using an online number for my account. I'd like to use a second online number for a home business that I'm starting. How will that work having 2 online numbers on the same account? When Skype rings, will it tell me which number was dialed? How do I switch between the two when making outbound calls?

You can have up to 10 Online Numbers on a single Skype account.
When you receive an incoming call to your Skype program or app, the program/app won't tell you which Online Number received the call. It will either show you the Caller ID number of the phone calling you (if that information is available), or you'll see a Skype name if the call was made directly to your Skype account name.
Online Numbers do nothing for making phone calls from Skype, except that some can be used as Caller ID when you call telephones from your Skype account. You would still need to purchase Skype Credit or a subscription in order to call telephones. Depending on where your Online Numbers are from, you can choose to use them as your Caller ID when calling telephones. Not all Online Numbers can be used this way. You can choose to use a single number for Caller ID when calling all telephones, or - if your numbers are in different countries - you can use certain numbers when calling certain destinations. For example, I have numbers from the US and the UK that can be used as Caller ID. When calling UK phones, my UK number is used as the Caller ID number. When calling anywhere else, I use my US number. You can log into your Skype account through this web site and make changes to the Caller ID settings.
If you don't want to make changes to your Caller ID settings all the time when calling telephones, to have different numbers show up on the phones you call, one option may be to use separate Skype accounts for each Online Number. This would mean that, for calling telephones, you would have to purchase Skype Credit or a subscription for each of those accounts. But you would be able to have some idea where the calls are coming from, and you can control what shows up as Caller ID easier if you use each account for different purposes.

How much for online phone number

I was going to activate my skype account until YOU ASKED FOR MONEY! I then found where skype to skype is free but don't you have to have a calling plan which would cost me money and I found where a person has to purchase an online phone number but I can't find anything about how much this phone number would cost.
I have read way too many negative posts about skype, like people wanting to cancel their subscriptions but can't, being overcharged two or three times, or trying to cancel a reoccuring bill. I would like to know how I can remove all of my information from the skype files. Question: do you sell or rent our information to third parties?
I will not be activating my skype account. What a waste of time this was.
