Subscription expired before expiry date

Hi, I had the unlimited world subscription expired on Nov. 30, 2011, and had a new one renew for 3 months. The expiry date of this new one should be at the end or February. But when I tried to call today, (Feb. 0 the program said my subscription is already expired. Please give me an reply.

As long as you have a current CLAD, you can take the CLD. Current meaning on or before your expiration date. Talk with your NI rep and the folks inside of certification to try to get it scheduled. If you will be running a little late, you may be able to get permission to take it even though your CLAD had just expired.

Bought my Macbook Pro on august 14, 2012. Why is the warranty expired before that date?

Bought it from an authorized reseller, and have proof of purchase. Will this make my warranty still valid til august 14 2013? Can i still buy the extended Apple care? Cuase my Macbook just died on me

Soon expiring of subscript before due date

I have bought a subscription world unlimited for 12 months.
I have bought it from November 28 2011, and skype said on my account panel that I can use it until November 25 2012. But I got a message from skype which told me that I have to pay again to buy the new subscription because my old one will be expire at October 1.
What happen to my 2 months not used yet, and why would I have to pay 2 months before expiry date.

The Scenario explained is with respect to Vendors and Not Customers.
Kindly advise in this respect.
Moreover interest calculation has to be made day wise for different line items
(ie) for one line item the payment would have been made 10 days before the due date. for another line item the payment would have been made 5 days before the due date. For the first line item the system should calculate interest for 10 days and for the second line item it should calculate interest for 5 days.

Workflow to send mail 20 day before the expiry date

Dear All,
I created a workflow to send mail when a calculated column date is equal to today as follows:-
Step1
add -20 days to Current Item:Expiry Date (Output to Variable : date)
then set variable : Notification1 to Variable : date
Step2
If variable:notification1 equals (ignoring time) Today
email users
Now when i add a new item to the list , the workflow status is set to In progress , and when i refresh the page the status is changed to Completed before the condition is met and!!

If I Understood your question correctly, you need to send email to user 20 days before expiration date.
From above you workflow I can see, you are just checking your condition once a item is created. As your Step2 condition is not met your workflow is completed without any error. I suggest you might want to try below workflow
Step1
add -20 days to Current Item:Expiry Date (Output to Variable : date)
then set variable : Notification1 to Variable : date
then Pause until Variable:date
Step2
email users
Above workflow design will pause you workflow till 20 days before expiry date. and then send email to user.
Please ignore syntax, I just tried to put logic.

This action is initially displayed in a workflow step as Pause until this time.
Use this action to pause the workflow until a particular date. You can add a current date, a specific date, or a lookup.
Following are examples of what the action might look like in a workflow step,

Pause until Variable: A week from Modified

Top-Up Before Warranty Expiry Date

My one-year warranty is about to be up. However, I don't think I will be able to buy Applecare so I was thinking if it would be a good idea to bring in my computer to the Mac store and get them to just to some type of test to see if everything is alright with the computer.
I see some pros and cons to this. The pros is that if something is wrong with my computer then it can be fixed before my expiration date passes.
The cons however, is that they may delay fixing anything that would be wrong up to when my warranty would expire, which is in a few days, and then would then I would have to pay upfront. Also, the next disadvantage which could potentially be a crazy idea, is that they could create a problem with my Mac in which I would later have to pay upfront for some sort of service.
One of the things that are preventing me from buying AppleCare is simply that at this current moment I don't have the money to dish out. I also looked at the terms and conditions of what would be covered and it looks like almost everything could be easily argued to be my fault. The only strong advantage that I am seeing in purchasing AppleCare is the phone support.
Basically, what I'd like to know is your opinion of taking my computer in and getting it looked at for possible problems.

If it ain't broke ...
I don't know how they would respond to that sort of request, you may do better running the hardware tests yourself from the Install DVD (hold d at Boot) and see if that reports any problems you could then legitimately go in with before the warranty expires. As long as any problem is logged before expiry you won't have to pay even if the repair happens later.

Make content item's status to expire after crossing expiry date in WLP repo

Can anybody please tell me, how make the status of content to expired after crossing its expiry date(content attribute) programmatically.

Are you using Library Services and the WLP Repository? If so, are you looking to automatically move content Nodes to the Retired status when the expiry date is reached? If the answers to both of these are yes, then you'll need to write some type of job that runs on some frequency and queries for Nodes where the expiration/retired date is reached. Of course, you'll need to have a Property on each content Type that holds the scheduled retirement date. Your job would then need to query where the retirement date has been reached and do a checkout, change status to retired, and then check the Node back in. Note that the retirement would only occur as often as your job ran, so if the retirement is time senstivie (ie. to the minute or second), then you'll also need to filter your content searches that are used in your application to filter out items that have reached the expiration date (ex. Type.ExpirationProperty > now).
If you're not using Library Services, then you would just include the expiration date test (Type.ExpirationProperty > now) in each query/display to ensure that you are not displaying content that has reached maturity.

Reset the device:

Setting a secure zone expiry date beyond the invoice date.

Is it possible to set the secure zone expiry date later than the invoice date? We're just looking at a way to let our members continue to have access for say 1 week after an invoice has failed so that they can log in and update their credit card details, possibly without seeing the 'access expired' message.
I've seen this behaviour on a site before, but I think that may have had something to do with the fact that it was a weekly membership site and that the invoices were already generated.

This is for a monthly recurring subscription. What I was thinking was that if for example a user signed up on the 1st of the month that their SZ access expires on the 8th of the next month, but the invoice is still issued and paid on the 1st of the following month, and when the invoice is successfully paid the SZ access gets extended till the 8th of the next month - now that I've written it out like that I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, unless there is some setting that dev can see in the backend?

When you are creating iView, you should select the " iView Template " and select the " KM Subscription iView " in the Template Selection, after you completion. Just you check it out. It will show the details about the subscription documents and its owner, subscripted item, Notification on, Expiration Date.
And also you have to try this iView " KM Recent Notifications iView ", it is also the show the details about the subscription, Feedback for the documents, Reviews for the Docuements and Approval for that documents like wise.
When Expiry date reached for the documents, subscription also expired. Subscription enabled in that documents. And also you can have to use the Mail server by the way, email notification send to admin / Manager role using the groupware.
You have to try this steps to creating the Scheduler task for the documents Content Management --> Reports --> Time-based Publishing --> Click New (Select the path for the KM Folder).
I think its help to you.

I have a database user whose password is due to expire in 5 days for example.
The user uses the default profile and the default profile PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME is 180 days.
I want to change that to UNLIMITED so:
ALTER PROFILE DEFAULT LIMIT PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME UNLIMITED;
The default profile that my user uses is now password life unlimited.
BUT - If I query dba_users:
SELECT USERNAME, EXPIRY_DATE
FROM DBA_USERS;
My user still has an expiry date.
How can I remove the expiry date? Will the expiry date just pass as it is now set to UNLIMITED or will I have to change the password in 5 days when it expires and then its password life time will be unlimited?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.You have to reset the user's password before it will pick up the new profile. Altering the the password properties of the profile itself does NOT cascade to the existing properties of the users themselves. It merely sets the conditions for the next time a particular user changes their password.

Facts about Adobe's subscription, read before you buy.

Facts:
Adobe auto renew your yearly subscirption even if you don't say a word.
Once they resubscribed you, you will have to pay for the whole year's fee.
There is no button in your user account page to stop the auto renewal.
There is no button in your user account page to cancel the subscription.
You need to contact customer support personally to do it the above two action.
If you choose to stop the auto renewal, you are only allowed to do so within 30 days AFTER your existing subscription expire and they resubscribed you.
Adobe does not give you any reminder before your subscription expire.
Adobe does not give you any notice after they resubscribed your product.
The above basically means that you will need a strong reminder to tell you to disable your adobe service at the right date or else they will lock you into an additional year of payment. And if you do remember to cancel it on the right time (30 days after they renewed your product), you still have to deal with customer support that is very likely outsourced to non english native speaking country, a very frustrating process.
As a user that has been using Adobe product for 8 years. I simply do not understand why stopping renewal is not an option in the user account if Adobe is willing to do business in good faith. Adobe's product is still good to use and I understand it might be hard to survive in the current software industry without using the subscription model, but using this cheap tactics to get a user to resubscribe is way too cheap, especially by a company with such well established reputation in the creative industry.

Just for my curiosity (I guess I am bad at tracking the license/subscription expiry date) and I do not think Cisco officially stated this: what happens if protectlink subscription expired on RV016?
Will the content filtering still work and just not update OR it will not filter anymore?
