Subscription for BI / R3 SAP systems

Hi all,
Does anybody know any vendors or sites where they provide login subscriptions to BI / R3 systems? I need a system where i can login and practice. I took training but my login expired there so i am not sure how can i get a system.
Please provide any suggestions / help / tips.

If i get it right u r asking for <b>DEBIT memo</b>
There is no concept of debit memo in SAP
and If u want to debit vendors accounts for Overcharging in PO u can pass credit Memo in MIRO which in turn will debit vendors account by that amount
Steps to pass credit memo are as follows
Trnx Code MIRO
Enter invoice date
Select Credit memo from Transaction dropdown
Give PO number in PO reference
Enter Amount and Qty for credit memo
Select tax code if required
Rest same like miro
Save MIRO

SMD agent for VMW-based SAP systems

SAP talents:
We have hard time to configure SMD agents for VMW-based SAP systems.
We have followed some SAP documents for non-VMW-based SAP systems, but seems that SMD agent cannot
differentiate the individual system on VMW.
Our SMD agent has no problem for non-VMW-based systems.

Sorry to reply late because we have attempted a lot of fixes but all failed
For example, we have QAX, QAY and QAZ on VMW.
On Wily Introscope:
1) QAZ simply does not show up even we deployed/configured the agents as the procedure specified;
2) under the node QAX, we see QAY's entry as a sub-entry.
Does each SAP system need an agent OR only one agent is enough? We have tried both ways but
seems not working properly either way.

Error when checking for layout in sap system.

   We have downloaded the Adobe Life Cycle Designer 8.0 from service.sap.com.As in our system we have already installed the SAP GUI ,we only run the ALDsetup. exe to install the Adobe Life Cycle Designer 8.0 .When we checked in our backend SAP system in t-code SFP-> Select form-> Display ---> Layout ,then it is giving error below.

Error while opening document
Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION143
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the desktop application while opening a document.
Procedure
Check first whether you can insert a document from this desktop application as an embedded object in another application. The necessary menu item is usually 'Insert --> Object'. The application then lists all of the OLE document types. Choose the type corresponding to the desktop applciation. If the insertion fails, the error is in the desktop application itself.
This error has various causes. Often, it is caused by activating certain add-ins. Sometimes, the desktop application is wrongly installed. The error should not recur once you have disabled any add-ins or reinstalled the desktop application.
Procedure for System Administration
If you cannot solve the problem as described above, enter a problem message. There are notes relating to how to generate the log file using the program SAPROFFICEINTEGRATIONTRACE.

Port of the TNS Listener for the second SAP system

Hello!
I had problems during the installation of the second SAP system with second Oracle DB on the same host (OP is SOLARIS).
The error occurs was faced with TNS Listener.
(> error: TNS Listener is started)
Which settings are applied for the TNS Listener per default in SAPINST?
(e.g. on the same port)
Which settings should I apply in SAPINST for TNS Listener, e.g. configure an another port?

1) If I have selected "ok" during the installation and no further values selected, will SAPINST check whether the Port 1527 is allocated by the first SAP System and create the second Port 1528?
2) Do I have one TNS Listener with two file entries or two TNS Listener?

One Visual Admin (local) for all my SAP Systems

Hi there,
i have a little question.
I have to administrate about 20 different SAP Systems.
And it gets me on my nerves that i always have to go with putty on one of my systems.. set the DISPLAY variable and open the Visual Admin.
So what i have done is that i copied the /admin/ folder to my local PC
And put in all the different connections to my systems
XII
POI
XIK
POK
etc...
So i only have to open the visual Admin on my PC and choose on which system i want to connect. But i have now the problem that i become the following messages on different systems i wanna connect:
Warning: J2EE Engine kerner version is older than the version of Visual Administrator
J2EE Engine kernel Version: SP13
Visual Administrator version: SP18
So is it dangerous to work with this message? Or is this really just a warning and i can go on?
Or what can i do to administrate different Systems with different SP`s with one Visual Admin?

Brspace command for Oracle on SAP system

Hi all!
I need to perform a complete "reorg" of my sap BW 7 system (NW2004s).
I check the sap note 646681 but I din't find anything for a complete database reorganization.
I try to execute the following command:
BRSPACE -F TBREORG -T SAPSR3DB
after that I receive the following error message:
ORA-01116: error in opening database file 5
ORA-01110: data file 5: '/oracle/EPT/sapdata4/sr3db_2/sr3db.data2'
ORA-27092: size of file exceeds file size limit of the process
BR0280I BRSPACE time stamp: 2010-07-06 18.06.17
BR0815I Number of indexes in schema of owner SAPSR3DB: 957

Hi GURPRIT,
It is possible to display item from two different systems.
All you need to do is create separate webflow connectors for the systems for which you required to configure the UWL and the systems must be available in the SLD.
after creating the connectors register both of them and you can start receiving workitems from both the systems.

you dont need to create Business system in Sld for 3rd party just u need to create business component in id directly.

How to use the memory efficiently in SAP systems?

We are using suse linux X86_64 bit OS
All the instances are present in distributed environment. Eg we have one DB,1 ASCS(Message server and Enqueue), 1 PAS and 1 AAS
In CRM there are 100 end users are there.
Database is also 64 bit (Oracle)
Ram size is 32 GB.
CPU is:4
Theoretically I know that the
RAM:Virtual memory should be 1:2 ratio
How to find the Virtual memory size in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the SWAP size allocated in the existing system If it is a freshly installed means then how can we estimate it?
How to find the size of virtual memory is allocated for the live SAP system and DB? And explain how to calculate if it is a freshly migrated system?
How to find the size of RAM is assigned to SAP and the same for DB?
If anything is increased in sap level like work process why should we need to increase the process and sessions in oracle and how?
Kindly help to me to find the solution for this questions?

Send IDOC from SAP system to IX but can't see any message in SXI_MONITOR

Hi all,
I have built up an XI system and configured an IDOC to IDOC scenario between two SAP Systems. After completed all configuration necessary:
1. Configuration on Source Side (SAP System that send IDOC) and on Target Side (SAP System that receive IDOC) is OK.
2. SLD is OK: Technical System and Business System are correct for these two SAP System.
3. Integration Repository: all designed Object is OK.
4. Integration Directory: all configuration is OK. "Test Configuration" Function is OK.
5. Runtime WorkBench: is OK. "Test Message" Function of "Integration Server" is OK.
In general, it is all OK.
But when i send an IDOC from SAP System Sour Side (Outbound IDOC from Source Side is OK), on the XI server i can't see any message in Tcode SXI_MONITOR. In this case, my XI server didn't receive any IDOC Message from this Source Side, and so that my XI server can't process and exchange any IDOC sent from Source Side.
Anyone can please help me to explain this problem: why my XI server can't receive any IDOC message from SAP System Source Side when all configuration is OK? Do anyone see the same case as this case?

2 Different SAP systems one with only WM and other no WM system

Hi All,
We are having trouble to implement 2 different SAP systems. In one SAP system only MM & IM will be there. The other SAP system only WM system will be there.
In the SAP system with only MM / IM system all the materials will be valuated where as the SAP system with only WM system, there won't be any valuations. It just serves as a 3PL warehouse for the first SAP system which has only IM environment. Both are acting as a different companies.
We planned to interface all the PO, Inbound Deliveries and also the Sales order and deliveries to WM SAP system and develop a custom program to do PGR / PGI in WM system and then transmit the PGR / PGI details to the SAP system (which has only MM / IM environment). The WM system also uses the RF guns. But not so sure whether this can help.
Can you please help me how to configure the WM system. I will be very grateful for your help.

How to Import the RFC (Custom RFC made ) which is available in SAP systems

I have to use a custom RFC which is made by an abap developer in my XI scenario. I dont see any "Imported objects" tab under my scenario in IR . I can only see "Imported objects" under SAP basis 6.40 . When i right click the link "Import of SAP object " is disabled .
Am i looking at the right place . can any one help me on this

Just follow this sequence :
integration repository --> software component double click --> select radio button which says import of RFC and IDOC interfaces from SAP systems Permitted. --> provide the connection data for import from SAP System --> then under imported objects, you have RFC --> right click and say import of sap objects --> then give your server details and import the RFC you want.
