Subscription Installation Serial Number

I’ve recently had a monthly subscription for CS6.
Before it was over, I purchased a CD CS6 Teacher/Student Version
and installed it on my Computer (not over Adobe). Now 3 Weeks later,
after the subsciption was already over, Adobe claimes that I havn’t reneved my subscription,
that is true but should not affect my installation of my purchased and payed product.
I wanted to install it again and it ask for the Serial Number of the Software I already installed!!
I’m totally desperate since I don’t seem to find the Cardbord Box anymore with the Number on it.
Can anybody help out there??

That's the point, the registration. It never DID have to register, but I filled in the Serial Number. And I can even proove to have installed the Software of my box 3 weeks after my subscription ended with Adobe. I even deinstalled their programs before I did that.
The software ran fine for 3 weeks! I threw away the Box, old fashioned that I am thinking the serial number would show up on the
Program when starting up - like 10 Years ago! I called Adobe yesterday and they claim that the program was never registered, which is probably true and they said I can get the number from the Seller I bought it from, which is not true I found out, because the they don't keep a record of the Serial Numbers. The customer has to install it/register it.
How come my Programs ran fine until 4 Days ago? There must be a technical problem, I'm desperate.

Adobe 11 std, Installation, serial number not valid.

Good afternoon,
While finishing the installation of Adobe 11 standard, the serial number is requested.
I input the one provided in the License certificate issued by the SW provider in our company.(hiding some digits for security reason ) but the program says the serial is not correct. I also tried to redeem this code in the following site: https://creative.adobe.com/redeem and the error persists (attach screenshot)
Could you please confirm if it's our SW provider's fault. Are we doing anything incorrect. Please this is urgent.

Thanks for the quick answer. Unfortunately, the same error keeps coming up. Is there any other way to check whether the serial numbers we were provided by our software provider are ok to release? Is there any expiration period from purchase to redemption/ activation.

Acrobat X Standard - Post-Installation Serial Number Question

Is there any way to install Acrobat X Standard in such a way where it will wait to prompt for the serial number when it is launched for the first time, instead of upon installation?
I read an earlier post that indicates you can remove the ISX_SERIALNUMBER instance from the ABCPY.INI file to force it into trial mode, but that does not work for this version.
Any help is appreciated.

We are still purchasing OEM licenses, and I am trying to create standard PC images with Adobe Acrobat X Standard pre-installed. I just want to be able to bring the image down to a machine and then just pop in the serial number without having to install.
If you know of a way this can be done -or- how to install Standard in a trial state, please share.

Installation Serial Number

My boss purchased and installed CFMX7 Standard Edition
(Upgrade). When he installed it he put in the serial number that
was on the CD package. When we tried a test from another machine it
told us that we were running a developer edition. In the Settings
Summary it says that we are running a Developer version yet it
should be the Standard version.
Anyone run into this problem before?

no - just enter the license number that came with in the
field provided to update or change the serial
chances are that the serial was entered wrong and then it
defaulted to the Dev version, which is what the installer will do
w/o a proper number.
if it says you are running Enterprise DevNet then you have a
developer key, not a full key.
If you did install Enterprise Devenet version and then want
to change it to STANDARD it won't work ... you will have to fully
uninstall CF first, then reinstall it with the STD version
key

Pre-populate CS4 installer serial number

Ive used the Adobe Create Suite 4 Deployment Toolkit to create a silent
installer for Photoshop. While this will be useful for unattended
installations, I am also looking for a way to control a manual
installation, filling in the serial number for the technician, and not
installing Photoshop silently. Is there a way to do this?

Iwork installation/ serial number

We just got a new Mac and we are attempting to install iwork. It installs, but when you go to open it it wants you to enter serial number. However, when you enter serial number it will not allow you to click on continue, only go back. It also says you can buy one online, but we bought it in the store. HELP??

your computer comes pre-loaded with iWork preview.
If your purchase included "iWork" bundled with your computer, you should have a serial number provided.
It must be entered in the exact manner in which it appears on your serial number card, including all digits, letters, and dashes, also with caps enabled.
If this doesn't work, try reinstalling, and try again. If not, you will need to call apple

Installation - serial number invalid

I'm re-installing my software on a new machine running 10.6.7. I first installed Aperture 1.0 from original disc with serial number and then 3.0 from original disc (upgrade) with serial number and I'm getting an error (invalid serial number). I've discovered that 1.0 will not run on OS 10.6.7 - does this mean my upgrade won't work and I have to buy a new full version? Any thoughts?

PSE7 Installation: Serial Number

Hi! I installed my PSE7 (bundled with Tooya Penpower Pro tablet) onto my desktop and my laptop a while ago, and I just got the laptop back from factory repair. I want to reinstall PSE7 to my laptop, but since I've already used the serial number twice (apparently), it says Invalid. I'm technically installing the thing onto the same computer, so is there a way to get that number to work again? If the only solution is to reister the software, I can only do that on my laptop, which has no issues and no need of reinstallation. Thanks!

You have to contact Adobe customer service, usually via chat, to have them deactivate the previous incarnation of your laptop.

Subscription and serial number

There are no serial numbers for Cloud apps. They're activated via your Adobe ID via a Sign In/Sign Out process.

Apple Remote Desktop installation serial number is not saved.

I upgrade my Imac and used the Migration Assistant to move the data and the applications. All went well, all applications were moved to the new machine and seem to work properly Except the apple remote desktop.
The problem is when I run Apple RD3, I get a dialog box requiring the serial number which I entered . The Remote desktop then works properly until I close it and then the next time when I try to run the program the same dialog box requests that I re-enter the serial number. The setup process does not maintain that the serial number has been installed.
I hoping that someone will help in resolving this issue.

After searching forum more I was able to resolve this problem by deleting the
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.RemoteDesktop.plist file
The next launch of the RD3 I had to enter the SN again, but this time it worked and remember that it has been done already

Migrated Acrobat XI Pro over to new iMac, but now it says serial number is invalid.

After the migration to a new iMac, it told me that it did not install correctly and I needed to reinstall Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. So I did, and now when I enter the serial number for activation, it says it is invalid. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Could you please let me know whether you deactivated Acrobat XI from the old machine or not.
You will need to first deactivate Acrobat (from Help menu) from your old computer and then install and activate it (from Help menu) the software on the new computer using the same Adobe ID credentials (for subscription) or serial number (for license).
Please note that you can activate an Acrobat subscription or license on maximum two computers (say a desktop at work and laptop at home)
If you need to install Acrobat on the third computer, then you are required to first deactivate it from any of the old computers, so that there are no installation issues.
Please let me know if you have done in the same manner.

Serial Number match problems

I bought and downloaded Acrobat XI Pro, but it doesnt show up on serial number match screen. now I can't do anything with pdfs at all.........

You have 3 Acrobat products.
1.Acrobat 9 standard
2. Acrobat 11 pro upgrade with universal English
3. Acrobat11 pro with Multi North American Language.
Please confirm which installer & the serial number. It might be that you are using different installer & serial number.

If you've purchased a subscription, no serial number is required. Once your order processes fully (which can take 24-48 hours), your Adobe ID/password will work as verification of your purchase. You just need to log in, download Acrobat, and install it.

Have valid serial number,trial works but activation stops with "can't find CS5 on this computer"

Purchased and installed Contribute CS5 after changing computer/Windows 7. Have valid serial number which is accepted onthe activation screen, however it says it cannot find CS5 on my computer and lists CS3 and CS4. The Trial version works and I have been going this route however now I am out of trial usages...help please! Going through another marathon phone session with Adobe to sort out another installation/serial number issue is not in my workday plans. BTW, this is only installed on this one computer.
