Subscription not posting to iCal

Using iCal 4.0.4 on OS 10.6.8. Subscription to Orlando Magic calendar, which has worked the past 2-3 years, no longer posts to iCal. No change after "re-subscribing". Suggestions?

Google calendar subscription not visible in iCal

Hi folks, I'm trying to subscribe to a shared Google Calendar through the ICAL (.ics) protocol.
Although iCal seems happy enough with the URL I provided it and shows a calendar under "Subscriptions", none of the shared events is showing up in iCal. I don't mean that event details are not showing up, I mean nothing is showing up, not even free/busy blocks.
I downloaded the .ics file from the URL and viewed it in a text editor, and it appears to contain all the information, with the start/end dates and times, etc. It's just not showing up in iCal's calendar views.
Any clues?

i seem to have the same problem, can you tell me where you set those default settings? in ical ? or google calendar? thanks for help ....

Help!! cal event created and emailed not posting to ical

i create a calendar event in outlook at the office and invite my personal email address and then when i look at my ical the event does not show up.. i have the option set so this should happen automatically but it doesn't....please any help would be appreciated, thanks.

if i receive and invite from someone (or send to myself for that matter) the event should be automatically posted to my calendar without any action on my part.
this is what happens when an event is sent to a gmail account (the event is automatically posted on the calendar)

Hello. I paid for skype credit in January however I have not recieved my credits as I have been unable to make calls. I need this dont immediately please. I paid for 3 months. This has also been a recurring problem.

Actually you didn't. On January 18th 2015 your Online Number, 3 month subscription was renewed. On January 2nd 2015 you submitted a payment request to fund an Unlimited US & Canada 3 months Subscription which was refused. You have not purchased any Skype Credit.
To be able to make calls you need either a Calling Subscription or Credit and you don't have either at present. [You can't call from an Online Number. Those are for receiving inbound calls].
Buy Skype credit Skype subscription

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

It is possible that the subscription is not valid or up-to-date.

We are regular user of Skype & have multiple subscription for Unlimited India Calling.
we have Purchased more tham 6 Skpe ID for Unlimited India Calling & are Planning to Purchase more if proper customer Service provided.
The Issue is two ID 1) Asmita.Kala_Jetkingnashik.com 2) Rahul.sawant_Jetkingnashik.com
have active Unlimited India Subscription yet post 4:30 IST it gives an error message u dont have suffucient balance /Credit to make phones calls.
This is on a regular basis & the next day they can connet the call again.
Request you to please provide a permanent solution to this problem faced post 04:30 IST.

I am a MobileMe user and I sync iCal between a PowerBook G4 and an iMac (PowerPC) G5. Both computers now operate on Leopard, but there was a long period where my PowerBook - my primary computer - was on Leopard while my iMac was on Tiger.
I already tried iCal/Preferences/ShowBirthdaysCalendar, <turn off><turn on> (I also tried variations of on/off, off/on, on/close window, off/close window, etc.)

Mobileme cals not showing in ical

i have synced all my stuff with mobileme and it is working mobileme to iphone. however, my calendars are not showing in ical. i thought that the mobileme cals would be listed in ical but its not happening. i have tried many times to resync etc but cannot get them to show in ical.

Have you upgraded to the new MobilMe calendar? If not you should have as the old syncing method will be turned off tomorrow. Settings in System Preferences>MobileMe>Sync are no longer relevant to the calendar.

Subscribed calendar deletions not reflected in ical

Hi,
I use webcalendar (http://www.k5n.us/webcalendar.php) as a web based calendar tool for managing my family whereabouts and plans. I have 5 users within the web tool and all 5 users have enabled remote subscriptions.
I subscribe to all 5 calendars from my MacBook in order that I can then sync these up onto my IPOD iTouch and all this is working fine.
My problem is that when I delete an item from within WebCalendar this is not reflected on iCal and the only way I can seem to work around this is through deleting the subscribed calendars and recreating them. As I don't seem to be able to automate this using a applescript this is a tedious task hence raising a plea for help on this forum.

This is a schema issue with QuickBooks, and you'll have to continue to update these items by hand until the issues is addressed by the Intuit programming team. I cannot believe that they are not already aware of it, but you should report it anyway.
On its face, it is ridiculous for them to create an event with an end point value which occurs prior to the start point value. All day events cannot end before they start! Actually, no event can end before it starts…
By definition, an all day event in iCal is one which starts on a particular date at 12:00:00 +0000 and ends at 12:00:00 +0000 on the next day. For example, an all day event on March 15, 2006 is represented in the truth [when pushed from iCal] as:
2006-07-15 12:00:00 +0000
2006-07-16 12:00:00 +0000
NOTE: I didn't pick those representations and that's not the way I would have chosen to do it, but it is what the iCal programming team has done.
As a user, you don't see the time values, and the date representation in the inspector panel is shown [for the above example] as:
07/15/06
07/15/06
Again, an all day event cannot end before it starts. So the data provided by the Intuit application is invalid: in effect, the event they have defined does not exist.

No email notification for replies to subscriptions/missing post

Also was here to complain about the error on log in, see that "it's beiing worked on."
But--as of late I haven't been getting email notification when replies are posted to subscription & then just found that a reply to a post of mine that I made several hours ago was not posted--it's gone. I saw it in the between mode after I clicked "post message" and now it t'isn't there. Seems like the discussions server must be running on Tiger--that would probably explain the issues. : - 0

The Hosts are aware of the problem, and are working on a fix for it as well, I think.

I Cal does not post date chosen by point and click of the mouse.

My ICAL mini calendar on the left is not posting the date that I click using my mouse. For example, if I click on June 27, 2008 on the mini calendar on the lower left corner, my large full day event calendar will post June 26, 2008. Tried doing a reset of all sync and calendar data from DOTMAC but it will still do that. What else anyone thinks I can do.

Printing Notes added in ICal

I have been adding notes daily into ICal on my Iphone and now I need to print them out but can't figure out how. I have synced with my IMac at home and the notes were not even showing up, different problem that I think I have fixed. Can someone please point me in the right direction to fix this. Thanks.

I talked to a mobile me genius via ichat, and he told me that synching notes is supported between computers, but not between iphone and computers. we were talking about 0S 10.5.8. hope this helps!

K7n2 Delta-6570 Will Not Post

I have k7n2 delta L --6570--amdxp-2500-512 mb pc3200 ram. powmax 400w power .ati 9600 all in wonder. I swapped all parts to a better case to fit a certain location and the system will not post at all. the diagnostic d-bracket has number 1 and 4 in red while 2 and 3 are green. the book only tells me that the processor is initializing with a note saying this will show information regarding the processor (like brand name, system bus. etc. but nothing will show on the monitor. everything was working fine before the swap. i have checked everything i can think of. i would appreciate some advise. sorry if i haven't posted all the proper requrements and spec's. thanks. paul k.

i reset the memory and cpu and video card. i think i disconnected everything in the case a couple of times to make sure it wasn't a simple blunder. nothing! i have a friend that wants to try look at it i may do that. also tomorrow i will try to post all my info like the rest of you guys have done. i'll give it a try anyway. also i done the other things you mentioned, i forgot what the questions were. you can't see the post info that i am replying to keep checking so i can answer properly and i forget things.

so i have written
