i just recently reactivated by 1 free month of unlimited calls. 1st) I would like to know if the advertisements are correct. kype advertises you can call anywhere around the world ; to any Country unless specified not to. iI just did not want to be stuckk in one country . Am I allowed to call other countries with my unlimited calls? (which I love)Thank you.
2nd) I just went to get a SKYPE Number which it states i get 50% off but i can not find how much it is going to cost me. I am sorry to say they but Why hasn't any taken a look at some the problems here.i see the same questions all the time, which tells me no one is signed to see into where the problems are what is wrong and if it can be fixed. Even your pages which are to help explain how to get started
in using skype and other features of i can not find the answers or know where to go.And ihow in the heck to you people keep skype running when you have clean up and cleared out old paper work. I sure would like to be a part of help skype. As for me some customers are equipped. why can't we contact customer Service. It the most important job in helping customers. i can not find my way back to finish up with my skype number. Can you help or point the way?

Casio Brigade rebooting in the middle of calls and getting more frequent.

My Casio Brigade reboots in the middle of calls. It was usually preceded by a humming noise but it is happening more frequently and no longer hums just reboots. The battery is fine and has a normal life. The phone has never been dropped or wet (the Brigade is supposed to withstand both anyway). No, I do not have access to another phone so Verizon can tell me to reset it. I already reset and it didn't help. I programmed it again yesterday so it is up-to-date. Only reboots during calls (for now). Occasional dropped calls are expected but rebooting is not acceptable!
Can anyone help?

It is an awesome phone....if it worked right. I love the keyboard and the ruggedness of this phone. If only it wouldn't reboot in the middle of calls and/or Verizon had a solution that worked. It had this problem since day one and they had me reset it several times. It was OK for awhile. Then it started again but infrequently so I just lived with it. But now, it was every other call. I tried resetting it again several times and it is now out of warranty, of course. The last tech guy told me to uninstall all of the programs like navigator and backup assistant and THEN reset it. But it wouldn't let me remove backup assistant.
Anyway, I am back on my old phone that I only stopped using because of the poor sound quality. But, I guess I'll have to live with it until my contact for the other phone is up. ... NEXT JUNE. I believe this to be a software issue.. The phone itself is probably great. Good luck.
Oh, I also learned that it is more prudent to buy an unlocked dual-mode phone that accommodates both GSM and CDMA so that your phone will be usable if you decide to switch to another carrier. Verizon is about the only one using CDMA now. If you want a Verizon phone, get one that is "global ready". They have both modes. Hope it helps...

They locked it originally and it is their gift to unlock ....usually in their own time.

Losing connection during call and get no reconnection for hours

Hi, I use my iphone4 (not iphone 4S) with ISO5 latest version. Since some weeks during calls I lose connection to provider and cannot reconnect to network. Restarting doen't help. After some hours the iphone get again connection not knowing what has happend. Losing connection happens while I'm on a fixed place (not travelling in a car or something similar) and making a call. It also happens at different places. Vodafone changed my SIM-card but it doen't help. I also backed-up and renewed the the iphone-software by using iTunes. The vodafone-support explained that with renewing the software a new software-patch will also be installed that should help. As you can imagine - I still have the problem! Who can help?

QM 9.0 Can't play the recorded calls and get disappear

CUCM System version: 9.1.2.12900-11 Unrestricted
UCCX System version: 9.0.2.10000-71
QM 9.0.1.57
calls are shown in the Live monitor, then at the Recording page. but can't play nor export them, and then the calls disappear from the QM page.
the files at the local storage shows 0 KB
tried with CIPC 7 and 8.6 wired and wireless. And IP Phones as well but it is the same behavior.

i have downgraded both hal and totem to the revious versions and now i can play dvds again. What i don't understand is why shoud an upgrade from version say 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 break a system? Nothing is straight forward in linux. I know the average linux user doesn't mind tweaking things but sometime you just want things to work you know! :x

Conference call and get disconnect tone

I had a issues as below:-
Now have 5 party in conference call, 2 from internal and 3 call to PSTN's user. Suddenly one of the PSTN user call are drop then the remaining user in conference call are hearding the disconnect tone for few minutes. May I know how to shorted the disconnect tone or totally no disconnect tone after the PSTN user disconnect? Please let me know how to solved this.
I using CUCM 6.1 and conference station 7936.

My phone was hacked, Verizon assured me that I would not be responsible for any of the charges. I paid my bill on due date and my phones were suspended 2 days later,mi had to drive 10 miles to a Verizon store for them to call to get them restored.

In had to drive 10 miles to a Verizon store for them to call and get them restored. They offered no explanation but said they had taken care of it, NOT, it is back on my bill and higher. I call and put on hold for 15 mins. I guess they will suspend them again this month. I am so tired of dealing with them with this matter. Feed up!

I chose this to get
1. unlimited calls
2. unlimuted broadband
3. a new phone for my study - the home hub phone seemed to do nicely
You can imagine my surprise when I checked my bill online and saw that I was being charged for calls from the home hub phone.
Despite the Ts&Cs and "legal stuff" not mentioning this, they charge for broadband calls during the day M-F as part of broad bank talk packge. How misleading.
I'm going to compain to the ASA and Ofcom.
I spoke to a defensive call centre agent who said that even it it wasn't mentioned in the "the legal stuff" on the web site prior to hitting the "sign me up" option, it was clearly stated when you ordered. Is this not misleading, dishonest advertising? We'll give you a "free phone" with "unlimited calls" and "unlimited internet access" but if you want to make a call with the phone supplier, it goes over the internet and we'll charge you for it! I'll stick with Skype....
Am I being unreasonable here?

~IF u hit 5 before dialing from ur BT Home Hub phone you will use ur landline.
I am miffed by their complex bundling, as I now have a landline with Anytime, and a seperate BB Talk with Free evening & Wknds. I only wanted ONE line!
~I will endeavour to get the difference refunded. They also automatically extend ur homephone contract by 6months to 18months!

I am unclear if I get the plan that charges by the month to make calls to China if that would also include unlimited texing? If not, is there a way to get unlimited calling and texting to China?
Also, is it possible for the person to text me back (if they do not have skype on their phone)?

Sending SMS messages is not included with any of Skype's subscriptions. Skype Credit must be used to pay for the SMS messages you send, at the rates shown at the "SMS Rates" link at the bottom of this web page.
If you want to provide a number that someone can use to reply to your SMS messages sent from Skype, you can set a mobile number (excluding mobile numbers from Japan or Mexico) to appear as the sender for your SMS messages from Skype. You would set it up as your Caller ID number, and this requires a two-step verification process that involves Skype sending SMS messages to your mobile number. Click on "Caller ID" and "Sending SMS" below for more details. Unfortunately, there is no way to receive SMS messages at your Skype account directly.

i dont know if this is a common problem with skype on windows 10 but whenever i seem to get called or call and anser skype crashes, please help?

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit). Run dxdiag.exe (Start - Run or Win key +R) then press enter or click "OK". Once the diagnostics completes, "Save All information..." to a text file. Please, attach this file to your post. Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
(i.e. compress DxDiag.txt ---> DxDiag.zip)
