Substatus need to default with D while creating Appraisal doc

Hi Friends
Am using few FM to create appraisal docs in In Review status and In planning status based on selection screen choose radio button     now in my new req   i need to default documents sub status with D ( Mid Year-Self Appraisal ) ...           am trying to pass this as well in FM but am not sure which code also at which place i need to right to create doc with this substatus
table for this is T77HAP_SSTATUS .
and FM am using are   HRHAP_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
and                            HRHAP_TEMPLATE_GET_DETAIL    and few more inside these FM .
but am not finding the exact place where i can write logic in between standard code to create doc with
default substatus .= 'D'.
Pls any input on this will be big help for me

Default Country Value while creating BP in Web UI

Dear Experts,
We are using "BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS" for enforcing certain values, including the country value (XX) for our case while creating new BPs in Web UI..
As we are expanding internatinoally, the BP creation in the next country is also taking the same value (XX) which is not desired, since it is mentioned in the BADI. The said BADI works only for the Web UI and our users are on web UI too. Had the users been on GUI, the same could have been populated through the user profile - parameter id LND for the desired value. But the parameter id setting unfortunately doesnt work for Web UI.
Neither is the table / field of the paramater id aval for calling up in this BADI. Nor the tables associated with the BADI have any value as the BP is being created afresh.
Hence we are stuck how to fill the respective country values by default. To my knowledge using the paramater ID should have been the simplest way of handling it but for Web UI it doesnt work.
Seek your expert advice on the ways to resolve this please..

Hi Tariq,
I'm not sure if you have the latest SP - recently, a new BADI - BUPA_SET_DEFAULT was released which allowed defaulting of fields in the BAPI and Web UI scenarios. You can use that BADI to default the fields for country, name, and even other address fields on the Web UI.
If you don't have this BADI in your system, do search for SAP notes, which will also have the documentation about this.

I think your logic is reversed. I think it's better to let users create messages from the application areas from which they are having the problem. Based on the standard SAP component which defaults into the component field, the ticket can be routed to one of your 20 teams. This is where the agent detemination rule for support team can be configured. There are a number of message on the forum regarding support team configuration. This way, if your 20 teams can't solve the problem (for example SAP defect) then the message can be forwarded directly to SAP using the correct component. Good luck.

BAM: Problem with 'Binding' while creating event linkage

Hello colleagues.
We have an ECC 6.0 and a PI 7.1 system. I want to create a prototype using the features of BAM.
In transaction SWF_BAM, i tried to create a binding for the OB proxy parameters and the event object parameters. Unfortunately, the proxy class no longer has the method 'EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS' and hence i am unable to create the binding.
Any pointers on how to go about this. Please also let me know if i am not doing it the right way.

Try writing the method which u create in the same name as the implementing class; also known as the provider class. I have faced the same problem, and when writing the method, use the operation name, which is used in PI 7.1, while creating the interface, and there shouldn't be any problem during Binding.

Problem while creating sales doc RK

while creating invoice correction request it 's asking for billing relevance.. when i gave a billing document no the system give the error saying that
" Copying from sales document type ZEVB to RK is not supported"
how this could be addressed

Invoice correcttion request is always with ref to a invoice.
Pls check the settings in T-code VTFF if copy control is maintained from ZVEB to RK.
This kind of error we get only when copy control is not mainatined. Also pls check on copy control at the item level

Error while creating Billing doc using VF01 for Debit memo req. from RRB

I am creating billing doc for my Debit memo req. which is created using RRB(DP90, DP95).
Error message - Item 000010 does not exist.
When I debugged and looked into code it seems following lines are causing problem.

set AUBEL because it was overwritten by VBAP-VBELN
      vbrp-aubel = vbap-vgbel.

This code was not in 4.6 system.
We have just migrating from 4.6 to 6.0 and facing this issue while testing.

Issue with permission while creating incident

We have an issue. Sometimes our analytics get "no sufficient permission to perform the operation".
First of all they assigned roles with different queues. They have access to edit incidents with user role profile advanced operators and queue for incidents with status New. And they have access to read incidents with user role profile read-only operator
and queue for incidents with statuses Closed or Canceled.
When open new form for creating incident and wait a few minutes they may can't save incident and get permission error. But object in newly opened incident form isn't added in any queues. And then I find that incident was actually created.
Also when they save incident successfully, they can't even see it for up to 5 minutes while incident isn't in queue.
That's really annoying and confusing. As I can't get any way to troubleshoot what exactly form can't save.
Any workarounds to this? Or how do you separate access to closed and active incidents?

Rather than creating queues for these, you may be better creating Views for this instead, unless you specifically need to deny access to work items in these states.
Queue membership is calculated on a schedule and incurs a performance overhead. Therefore I tend to use these sparingly for things like support group separation and SLO targeting.
Also, if your analysts are opening an incident and waiting for a while, it is likely that a background workflow is updating the incident while the analyst has the record open. This will prevent the changes from being committed and will generate an
error.

Queuename cannot be build with function(while creating invoice VF01) IDoc

I had a problem while posting an invoice with reference to the delivery document . we had configured partner profile with INVOIC02 and extension for that. and maintained Transfer IDocs immediately. queue processing is enabled . before implementing OSS notes it is working fine. after implementing these notes we are getting update termination message and the invoice document is not getting saved. the notes are 0001019483 and 0001280898 .
After implementing notes rule is enabled and in that rule we had given IDOC_QUEUE_SUS_MM. and we had done cofig for that in we85.
the message is like this.

This may due to two reasons
1.Itemcategory settings
2.Copy control settings at item level between your sales document type and your billing type ZF3.So fallow these steps you can rectify the issue.
-->You go to the VOV7 transaction then select item category ZAPT TAP then go in to the details of that here you can find the field Billing Relevance maintain this field "B" or "C" if you are doing order related billing.
-->Go to VTFA transaction click on change icon (Top Left Corner)then select your billing type ZF3 and sales order type then click on the item here you select the itemcategory ZAPT TAP then go in to the details screen here you need to enter the copying requirement routines.
Standard routine is 002-item/order related in the Copying requirements field.
Standard routine is 001-Inv.split (sample) in the Data VBRK/VBRP field.
And also check the Header level copy control settings
Maintain these settings then try

Issue with G_FXX while creating a Process

In my case :- I have multiple regions, all are tabular forms made with APEX_ITEM each having 7 ~ 8 cols. So, I have run out of arrays. I was updating the collections on specific region SAVE buttons.[I created collections On Load-Before Header with APEX_COLLECTION.CREATE_TRUNCATE_COLLECTION]. I wanted to load actual tables from collections upon hitting the final SUBMIT button.
Please let me know if there is a better practice to handle this situation.

Problem with MB1C while creating sales order stock

I am working in MTO scenario. I have taken the requirements type as "KE" & assigned the requirements class "ABC". This "ABC" is copied from requirements class "40".
I have created a sales order with 1 line item and in MB1C when i create the stock, the system creates the stock for the sales order.
Problem: I start with creating the inquiry - quotation on the basis of inquiry - sales order on the basis of quotation. Now when i go to MB1C to create the sales order, I get the following error:
"Account assignment cannot be carried out because of different origin no."
Message no. V1134
Diagnosis
The sales document to which you want to refer is based on sales document 108 and item 000010. Therefore, the settlement and possibly inventory management are carried out using the number of the preceding document.
System Response
This entry is not allowed.
Procedure
Enter the document and the item number of the preceding sales document.
Also if for the same sales order i run the MRP using MD50, then in the transaction code MD04 - the system shows the reference of the "inquiry document number" for the production order. The production order should take the reference of the sales order number.
For the requirements class in the fields "Acct Assgt Cat" & "Valuation" i have selected "M"

Need help at date format while creating External Tables from Flat file

Hi All,
I have a flat file generated from SQL Server 2005. In that generated flat file the date format is in the format as "YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.Millisec" like example "2007-09-08 13:32:36.568".
My task is I have to load this flat file data into Oracle database table running on 9i, but its failing at the creation of external table itself because of this date format. The target table in Oracle the date column data type is "date" only not the "TIMESTAMP".
Can any body suggest how to resolve this?
