Subtítulos en Árabe

Hola, a ver si me podéis echar una mano con ésto:
Me han encargado hacer la autoría de un DVD, con subtítulos en francés, inglés, portugués....y árabe. Todo bien menos con el árabe. En los demás idiomas no ha habido problemas, les inserto el .txt y todo correcto pero, sin embargo, al introducir el .txt del árabe me cambia los caracteres de forma aleatoria. Siguen siendo carácteres árabe pero con orden aleatoria, de forma que las palabras no tienen sentido. Es como si en español escribieramos "fiubfdjksl".
¿Alguien sabe a qué se puede deber y cómo se podría solucionar?
¿Soporta Adobe Encore 2.0 el idioma árabe?
¿Hay que hacer alguna instalación especial?
Agradecería cualquier ayuda o consejo que me pudierais dar. Gracias

Hello there -- thank you for taking the time to comment here. Set the monitors to whatever closed caption standard you want to see.
1. Double-click on any caption or sidecar file to see what standard it is set to by reviewing it in the "Captions" panel.
2. In either monitor, go to the wrench icon, and click on it, go to the "Closed Captioning Display", and then set the display for closed captioning to match your closed caption sidecar or embedded file.
You should then see captions, in 608, 708, or Teletext -- if they are in the caption sidecar or file.

Hola a todos,
Hace dias que estoy intentando subtítular un vídeo utilizando closed caption en premiere cc 2014 (español) pero no consigo ver los subtítulos en el monitor. Solo puedo verlos si en settings los pongo en Teletexto 1, pero yo necesito hacerlos en CEA-608 CC1 y exportarlos en XML.
Cuando los hago en CEA-608 CC1 no hay manera de que pueda visualizarlos.
¿Me podeis ayudar?

Changing Audio Language in Netflix (Latin America)

Hi all,
I´m having issues with Netflix in Latin America from an Apple TV. Many movies have three languages (spanish, english and portuguese) and depending the availabitty it starts by default in spanish. I prefer english but i can´t find the way to change the audio language, I´ve found out how to change subtitules but I can´t find the way to change audio language.
I alredy tried changing the defalut audio options on the Apple Tv general seetings but that haven´t changed a thing. It seems to be a limitation on iOS devices cause I´m also experiencing the same thing on my iPhone 4.

Me sucede lo mismo:
Usaba Netflix en mi PS3 y cambiar el audio a otro idioma era una sencillez.
Desde que Netflix lanzó para iOS y Apple TV, he notado que es imposible cambiar el audio (en mi iPhone), solo hay opciones para subtítulos. En el Apple TV, algunas películas se reproducen por defecto en español y no puedo cambiarlas al audio en inglés.
Me gusta más la interfaz en Apple TV (y uso mi iPhone como remoto) que en PS3, por eso la molestia mía, si no, no me importara tanto.
Sugiero que todos hagamos un "feedback" a Apple y/o llamemos a Netflix Servicio al Cliente para presionar para que mejoren el servicio, es un problema nuevo porque a nosotros los latinoamericanos nos gusta más escuchar el audio en el idioma original y leer subtítulos, estamos acostumbrados a eso.

Franco, cuando tengas una pregunta nueva, abre un tema nuevo, no la entierres en un hilo antiguo no relacionado. Y por favor, no escribas todo en mayúsculas. Fuera de que es más difícil de leer en pantalla, en la Internet se considera el equivalente de gritar.
Por último, te sugiero no publicar tu dirección de correo electrónico en un foro público como éste, salvo que no te importe recibir más correo no deseado.

Adobe encore 2.0 error

Resuelto el tema de los subtítulos. Compruebo e proyecto y todo bien.
Ya suponía que algo no andaba bien porque mientras estaba trabajando me salían dos carteles. Uno de error general y otro así:
Sorry, an abnormal condition has been detected.
Before quitting, you have one chance to save your project
(don´t use the same name as the original).
NO les hice caso como al comprobar no me daba ningún error no me preocupe.
Pero al querer crearlo... Va procesando todo y va todo bien hasta que llega un momento que es cuando lo va a crear y sale un cartel de ERROR GENERAL y no me explica nada.
No tengo idea de qué puede ser.

- introducir y retirar el conector de auriculares algunas veces (sin fuerza, verificando que el iPad detecta cuando se retira el conector del auricular)
- asegurarse que el iPad NO está vinculado a altavoces externos por Bluetooth (desactive el Bluetooth si tienes dudas)
No hace falta hacer RESET de configuraciones / borrar cosas.
Espero que puedas tenerlo arreglado! (y valorar mi respuesta si te ha ayudado)

Subtitulo o subimagen

He solucionado unos prblemas de transcodificacion.
Ya lo tengo todo listo y bien.
Pero cuando creo el DVD me sale un cartel que dice lo siguiente.
EL SUBTITULO O LA SUBIMAGEN ES DEMASIADO COMPLEJO PARA PODER CODIFICARLO.
No entiendo que es lo que puede ser complejo.
Hay 9 subtitulados pero no creo que sea ese el problema.
Los botones que es a lo que creo llama subimagen... Están hechos en adobe todos o sea que no sé qué puede ser.
Por favor si alguien pudiera ayudarme lo agardecería mucho.

Normalmente este error se produce por dos razones:
Porque has elegido una fuente demasiado compleja.
Porque hay demasiados caracteres por subtítulo.
Prueba a poner una fuente sencilla, (arial) o a partir en dos subtítulos los que sean demasiado largos.

IPad sin sonido, sólo audífonos

Últimamente he tenido problemas con el sonido de mi iPad, únicamente se escucha cuando tengo conectados los audífonos, ya probé el switch lateral como mute y como bloqueo de rotación y ninguno me da resultado. Buscando en varios foros hay mucha gente que tiene el mismo problema y aun no he dado con la solucion. Alguien ha podido solucionarlo?

Como alterar o título dos menus Drag & Relate? (Urgente)

Prezados,
Alguém poderia me auxiliar se é possível ou não alterar o título das linhas do menu Drag & Relate?
Uma vez que eles não são tratados como Menu, ou sejam, não possuem um MenuID, para fazer a alteração como a de um menu padrão.
Alguém já passou por esta situação, que poderia me auxiliar?

URGENT - How Do I get RAB info in SQL

Hi, I need some urgent help on getting the log information for OWB mapping jobs that is viewed in the Runtime Audit Browser from SQLplus. I dont have the abiltiy to use the RAB over RAS at 2am in the wee hours, and I really need to know how to get the information out of the runtime to diagnose the faults.
Can someone identify the tables I need to use and how I can get the information out. Of course a script that can be run, that takes the mapping name, type and date and produces the exe style report would be the best...
This is proving to be a big issue for me now that we are supporting OWB marts, 24*7

Custom parameter in mapping and RAB

I have a mapping with UNION of two sources and through custom parameter I decide which source to use. Is there a possibility to see the value of this custom parameter in Runtime Audit Browser or somewhere in RTM views ?

thank for your suggestion, I have found the problem now - I start the mappings through sqlplus called by shell script, in RAB there is message "Standalone execution of "MAPNAME", the mapping takes default parameters assigned in OWB.
In this case there are no parameters shown in RAB Execution parameters section and the ALL_RT_AUDIT_EXECUTION_PARAMS view is empty. Is there in this case any possibility to see mapping parameters ?
Another question : I have created a portal user and i assigned to him all portal and RAB privileges that I found but it is not enough, when I login as this user, the "Select Role" combobox is empty, I cannot see values of rejected records, cannot make purge and so on.
What to do ?

Process Flow branches to Error, displays success in RAB

Hello,
I am calling a custom function from within a process flow in OWB. This function is performing some basic, customized validations after the mappings execute within the process flow. Depending on the result of the validation function, I want the process flow to branch to either Success, Warning, or Failure. The process flow is branching correctly based on the return code from the function. I can verify this from WorkFlow Manager. However, when I look at the execution of the process flow in the Runtime Audit Browser (RAB) it shows that the process flow completed successfully, regardless of what state it branched to. I would like for the process flow to be marked as either a warning or error in RAB, so that I can quickly identify what process flows failed the validation check perfomed by my function. How can I make RAB display these indicators? I'm running OWB repository version 9.2.02.0.

Thanks for the reply.
In my process flow I have included all three ending activities. I have also checked that the correct condition is placed on the transition to the activity (i.e. on Error condition, branch to End Error) The process flow is following the correct branch depending on the code returned from my function. (Workflow Manager confirmed this for me) Regardless of the End condition, RAB indicates that the process flow completed successfully. When it ended in an error, I would have expected RAB to display the usual red 'X' by the process flow but it is not.

RAB and Diagnostic Reporting

When you view the diagnostic report associated with the execution of a map in RAB execution report, I notice that along with the error number, message, severity and target details there is also a section providing Column details. Similar to a previous thread (How to do error logging outside standard runtime auditing?), I am trying to capture and identify load errors and wonder if/how we can provide these Column details to the audit browser so values appear in the diagnostic report. It seems that these columns (source/target, name, type, dblink etc) are always null.

But i cannot find any practical information in the user guide as to what tool i must use to do it.

[Solved]PyPanel w/ Rab Fails To Apply Patch

Well, I decided that if the patch wasn't going to work then I was going to edit the file myself (I made a backup before doing so) and I tried making sense of it (I don't know Python, but I do know several other programming languages so it wasn't too difficult to understand it) and I was able to edit /usr/bin/pypanel manually and change line 62 to make it float. This is my own method so I am not sure how good it is but I'll share, where it says P_LOCATION, I just subtracted however much pixels I wanted it to float so for example:

It was easy, quick and painless.
Edit: Now I get/understand the patch and how it works! I wish it clicked in my head earlier. Ironically, the only way I would have ever understand it was to look inside of /usr/bin/pypanel.
Hello, I'm trying to make PyPanel float using a patch called rab, but I am getting some errors when I try to apply the patch. I did some Googling and found a thread from here that had instructions on it, but I was still unsuccessful and I am having difficulties interpreting the error message.
When you download rab, it's not exactly the same as shown on the website (not too much of a difference). Two things I noticed is that it does contained @@ at the beginning of line 3 which I believe it is suppose to, but it doesn't show that on the website (I talked with some other people about this and they thought that might of been the problem looking from the site). Another odd thing is it doesn't close it's parentheses on like 34; it just ends with a comma. I've tried messing around with the file such as adding an ending parentheses to it and removing the last comma, but it produces the same error message.
This is what the file exactly looks like on my computer and it is saved as rab:

What's odd is there isn't even a line 44 so what is the error message talking about?
Anyhow, I've been doing a lot of Googling and talking with some other people, but no solution has been found. They recommened that I should probably try finding another method to make it float because a lot of the post that are about rab are outdate (2007) and it doesn't seem like anyone has poked at it since then, but I'll give rab one last try here.

Most probably pypanel is a python 2 application. Replace 'python' with 'python2' in both the depends array and within the build function in the PKGBUILD.
