Subwoofer not working after HDD have been replaced with SDD

Greetings,
Today I was helping a friend to replace his HDD with the new SDD he bought for his mid 2012 Macbook pro 15. We also got a caddy to replace DVD with old HDD, thus leaving him with two discs (I have already done this couple of times on different macs). After we finished, everything was working fine, both discs running smooth etc. However, after playing a song from iTunes, we noticed that there is no bass whatsoever in the playback. We both are audio engineers and know frequencies pretty good, so everything below 200 Khz cannot be heard. We tested the built-in output with the headphones we are familiar with, and it is working normally. Then we made A/B test with Macbook pro 13 and this particular 15 I am talking about - low freq. are apparently way more transparent comparing to 15, which is insane. So, we checked the positioning of the speakers on the board and figured out that there is a woofer just next to the HDD slot. However, we were careful and did not pull anything or made any physical impact that would kill the woofer.... any ideas or similar experiences? Uninstall current graphic drivers from Device Manager (control panel) - under Display Adapters section.
Graphics may be distorted temporarily.
Download, save & install following drivers in order. Restart system after each installation:
Intel chipset:

My file names have disappeared in grid view. Thery have been replaced with a dark bar along the bottom of the previews. If I toggle using the command u it hide the bar but I still can't see the file name. In list view all the file names are OK.

The dark bar is caused by the option "Show metadata below image".
Check the settings for the metadata overlays in Grid view (basic and expanded) by clicking the little "badge" icon below the Browser and selecting "Edit". Is the filename still enabled in the list? And in a high enough position to have precedence for other metadata tags, if the space does not suffice to show all selected tags?

Places not working after photo has been edited...

Hello All
As the title states after I edit a photo in Iphoto (on the ipad, in either Photos or Adobe Express) the edited photo no longer shows in places.... Is this just the way it is? Does the geotag go away after editing? Should I be saving the edited photo differently? I know if I leave the original it will still show in places but I would prefer not to have both versions on my Ipad just the edited version, but I do like the Places tab/option....

If you have the serial number for the installation and it is version 8 or higher you should be able to download it thru one of the pages linked below. If you registered the software, you should be able to find the serial number information for it thru your Adobe account.
If the above holds, you can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

See if you missed anything:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Windows Update not working after HDD replacement

I have a toshiba L675D-S4047 that I just replaced the HDD in. I cannot get windows update to work. Every time I have it detect my driver, I get the blue screen and the laptop restarts. I am recovering off the dvds I created. I have also went to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982018 and downloaded the windows 7 x64 update package with no luck. I am running 64 bit wondows 7 Home premium. any help will be greatly appreciated. Also, I am having issues updating microsoft security essentials.

FN functions not working after HDD repacement

After I've upgraded my new HP pavilion 15-p045nd with a SSD hard drive i've noticed that cannot use the FN button anymore to change e.g the brightness of the screen. What drivers (or setting) do I need to have in order to make things work as before? I have downloaded and installed all drivers from hp.com, but it just doesn't seem to be complete.
Any ideas?

Airport not working after having inverter board replaced

My MacBook's AirPort is not working. I took it to an Apple store to get the inverter board replaced to stop my screen from flickering and now my AirPort doesn't work. I can turn it on, but I can't see a wireless network. There are other computers on the network, so it's not a problem with the network. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to try to solve this problem without having to take my Mac back to the store and go without it for another day or two.

Normally that is on my list of to-dos when something network related isn't working. Unfortunately, I am not at my house, I am camping, and where we are staying provides wifi, so I can't really reset the router. Hopefully the router gets reset sometime tonight.
Usually I can see networks, but I can't see any right now.

Manually upload images after they have been published with Muse?

I am really loving how quickly Muse is allowing me to build a website, however I am really disliking how it handles my images, specifically compressing them with poor results.
I read that you can add a single pixel of transparency, I tried this, seems like a lot to do for a large gallery and also the final results were still not great.
I would like to have full control of this myself in Photoshop and then just upload the images overtop of what Muse has published, is this possible?
I would also like to do this for all my thumbnails.
Any help or info is appreciated.

It is very much possible. You can upload your finished images externally to the web server using any FTP tool or other means.
All you need to take care of is the image dimensions and the location of images is not changed, since that may cause issues with your site's layout and display.

i have recently updated my bios and since then i do not have any sound coming from my subwoofer.
when i go into my bass management settings, it tells me that my subwoofer is not present.
i tried to update the driver, but after that i could hear no sound whatsoever, so i rolled back the drivers.
any help would be appreciated, thanks!

IPod classic 160GB 6th gen not sync after HDD & ribbon cable replacement

I recently replaced my iPod 6th gen HDD and ribbon cable, but when I connect it to my PC and iTunes recognizes it, I can't sync or load music to it 'cause it displays an 1439 error, What can I do?

MS15-011 GPO not showing after patches have been installed

As per MS15-011 once the patches are installed I should see the "Network Provider" section in the Administrative Templates Group Policy Objects. I do not.

If you are using a central store, you updates are likely only placing the new policy template in C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions. If you look in that folder you will se the new policy definitions if you sort by date. there is a new one
called network provider.
I would test, but in my lab, I simply copied my policy definitions from c:\windows\policydefinitions to my policydefinition folder in sysvol and was then able to find the network provider node in GPMC
