Success and Failure messages Report

Hi All,
          Could you advice if it is possible within SAP XI to generate a report or list of messages with sender party, receiver party and timestamp for reference. Say end of day we need to run a report of how many successful message passed thru XI and the messages that failed. In XI we can see that, but can we generate a report out of automatically at the end of the day, or mail it to a particular e-mail address?
Can I create a spreadsheet report of all the success and failure messages with the time, sender party, receiver party automatically whenever desired.
Thanks in advance
Ravijeet

It is possible. Have a look at this blog have more idea on the table that needs to be used to pick the messages and the details.

  • Custom success and failure messages on quiz results slide

    I'm trying to create a custom success and failure message on the quiz results slide, using certain colours in the text caption to reflect our company's brand. So I've added an advanced action on entering the slide so that if the quiz percentage is 80% or more, the success message shows, and the failure message hides. It seems that this should work, but for some reason, only the failure message displays, regardless of whether I fail or pass. Has anyone else tried this with any success?
    Thanks for your help!

    I've changed the retake and continue buttons to image buttons, then added my custom success and failure captions which I've named 'fail_f' and 'pass_f':
    And here is my advanced action on entering the quiz results slide:
    The hide-button, is a white rectangle that I added so that I could place it over the retake button if they passed the quiz successfully.

  • Need to send success or failure message to BAPI of SQL query action block

    Hi All,
    I need to send success or failure message(i.e. 1 or 0) to BAPI which has been called below sql query action block in transaction
    Here in SAP, i have created on BAPI with one import parameter and one export parameter.
    In the sql query action block, it insert records in the database table. If it fail or success, that message(numeric value 1 or 0) has to send to SAP program through BAPI.
    I have created a SAP ABAP program which sends message to MII Message listener through RFC then in the process rule message it will call transaction, in transaction, sql query will insert records into database table.  if it success or fail, it will pass to BAPI. And i calling that BAPI in the same SAP ABAP Program to show in the output screen.
    Here the issues, i am not getting the value from BAPI which has send by the transaction in MII.
    SAP Jco, I have mapped in conf. links --> BAPI input with sql query sucess

  • Images with success and error messages

    Hi,
    I am using theme 20. I want to add a success image on all success messages and an error image on all validation failure messages. I can do this by putting img tag in messages individually. Is there an easy way by which I can make sure that all success and error messages are always displayed with a corresponding image without including img tag in every message?
    Thanks,
    Bhavesh

    Hi Bhavesh,
    in page template there is Subtemplate region related to success, error and notification messages. You can put there your HTML tags and add some css class or image for every page using this template.

  • SSIS Package execution completes without giving any success or failure message

    Hi,
    We are using SSIS to load some 100k records from flat file to Oracle Destination. We are using Oracle 10g client.
    But during the execution after some 5hrs or 6hr with 900k records upload we are getting the message Package execution completed. In the Execution results there is no message related to success or failure and the tasks in the Data Flow where yellow in color. What might be the problem? Any information regarding this case will be helpful for us.
    Regards,
    Roopa.

    Usually you will have a red object somewhere in your package if there was a failure.  Make sure you are looking in both the Control Flow and all the Data Flows in the package for a red object.  In the execution results in the far right tab, usually you will see several warning messages somewhere in the list of steps, followed by a message that says you have exceded the number of errors for the package and that it is failing.  This is not at the bottom but where the errors actually occur in the flow of messages.
    I don't know if that helps, but that is about all I can add.  Good luck.

  • Quiz Success and Failure Captions

    Is it possible to set the length of time a quiz success or
    failure caption is displayed for the user? I thought I saw settings
    somewhere but for the life of me can't figure out where to do this.
    Thanks - Helen

    Hi betty's mom
    Unfortunately this is the way it has always worked in
    Captivate. Actually, version 2 is a step better, as the caption
    text is no longer misleading. (In Captivate 1, the text said
    Correct/Incorrect - Click to continue, which implied you had to
    click directly on the caption in order to proceed.)
    If you strongly feel you should have the abiity to have them
    simply disappear after a pre-determined period of time, please
    submit an Enhancement Request. You may do this by
    clicking

    Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution. the policy has been applied

    no failure audits.

    Maybe there is no failure event?

  • Slow System and Failure Messages

    I am working on a project, and Captivate keeps slowing down/quitting on me.  What is the next step @AdobeCommunity?
    I was working with adjusting audio in my 62 slide presentation, off the local server, had been clearing the cache, and saving as I went.  After two particularly slow saves with lengthy "not responding" messages (we are talking 4-5 minutes until I recieved a response), I closed Captivate and restarted my computer. The following are all of the error screens.

    When you write "off the local server" does that mean that you worked on the project file while it was located on a server? If yes, then that is most likely the problem. Captivate does not play nice with networks.
    If you are in a corporate environment with roaming profiles etc. you should also ensure that your project cache etc. are not synched with the server. Read this article for more info: http://www.cpguru.com/setting-up-adobe-captivate-6-in-a-corporate-environment/

  • How to read success/failure message while running sqlldr through php?

    Hi All,
    currently i am running sqlldr through PHP . i want to read both success and failure message from sqlldr.
    sometimes it fails to load data, but it shows record inserted
    is there ant way to figure it out succ or failure?

    With SQL Loader you can get errors at several levels.
    At the command line level by reading $? after it runs since it sets $ERROR_LEVEL correctly.
    It also creates many types of log files which can then be parsed that include but are not limited to:
    The [control file name].log and the [control file name].bad file which are created wherever you would like them to be created and named any way you would like them. The [control file name].bad file contains all records that were considered unacceptable by SQLLDR and therefor simply testing for that files existence will start you down the road to programatically dealing with errors.
    Yes I know the documentation for SQLLDR is worse then stereo instructions that started out in Japanese, then were translated to Greek then to Korean then finally into English but there are some pretty good examples out there.

  • Count number of rows from oracle and sql database and generate a report

    Hi All,
    Can someone help me in writing a java program for the following scenario?
    1. Read the number of rows available from oracle table and print the total row count in a Report.txt text file.
    2. Read the number of rows inserted in a sql database (after a specific process-just an information) and print the total row count in the same text file Report.txt .
    3. Read the Error Log file (which is generated after a specific process say it has success and failed report for each iterations) and print the number of success and number of failure in the same text file Report.txt .
    I need the final Report.txt file in the following format:
    1. Oracle table <table name> has 500000 rows.
    2. After completion of the specific process 300000 rows were added to SQL table <table name>
    Error Log Report:
    300000 successfull entries and 200000 failed entries were found from the Error Log file.

    Thanks for your immediate reply.
    I'm just a beginner in java so if i make any mistake please correct and excuse me. :)
    This is the code i have for connecting to two different database.
    package connectDatabase;
    * @author
    import java.sql.*;
    public class ConnectTo
         public void OracleDB()
              Connection dbconn;
              try {
                DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
                String connString="jdbc:oracle:thin:@SYS_IP:1521:oracl";
                dbconn = DriverManager.getConnection(connString, "uname","pwd" );
            catch(SQLException sqlex)
                 sqlex.printStackTrace();
            catch(Exception excp)
                excp.printStackTrace();
         public void SqlDB()
              Connection conn;
              try {
                Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
                String url = "jdbc:odbc:connectDB";
                conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url,"uname","pwd");
              catch (Exception e)
                System.err.println("An Exception occured! " +e.getMessage());
    }I'm just codding the second half which is for connecting to oracle databse and calculates the row count and displayes in the command prompt.
    then connects to SQL database and counts successfull insert in the table.(row count) and displayes on the command prompt.
    can you simplify the above code so that i can call the oracleDB() method and SqlDB() method seperately from another calss file using the object of this class?
    I'm ok if the report can be seen in a command prompt. FInally i need to calculate the success and failure count from the log file. will let you know once i'm done with codding.

  • MRU fails with no failure messages

    Hi,
    I have a tabular form based on a table. When I make some changes on some data of the form and press submit button, I am redirected without any success or failure messages and see that no changes are saved. Table on which the form is based on has a primary key. I do not understand why MRU fails.
    Thanks in advance

    Hasan,
    There could be many reasons for this behavior. How did you create the tabular form? Manually or using the wizard? What does your query look like? Did you set any column to hidden or no-show? Or do you use any column conditions? Have you changed the column display sequence? And how is your MRU process defined? Also, is your Save button redirecting or actually submitting the form? If you have a workspace on htmldb.oracle.com, and could reproduce the problem there, I can take a closer look at what might be causing this.

  • BPM - PI/XI Integration to get success/failure message from PI into BPM?

    Hello Experts,
    I happen to run into following scenario:
    I have a BPM Process created in NWDS CE 7.2. This process allowes to create a record in SAP. When a user requests to create a record and fill out the required details, it goes to approver for approval. Upon approval, record gets checked-in to MDM and then from MDM it is syndicated to SAP R3 using an IDOC. Now, what I need is, if PI/XI is succesful to create that record in R3, then the success message should be sent to BPM for performing some further actions. And if it is a failure message returned from PI/XI then BPM will take a different lane.
    Can I do this? If yes how? I read about PI Integration Repository, Java Mapping APIs etc but to be frank I am not able to understand it at all. Please help.
    Ameya

    Thanks John,
    Before I close this thread, following are my understandings:
    1) I need an intermediate event who's trigger will be mapped to PI service
    2) That means, PI will use this webservice for sending the reply back to BPM event
    3) Accordingly BPM flow will be decided
    End-point URL is the WS URL and that is also available in WS Registry. Apart from this, whatever PI side configurations or development is required that is out of our purview. Is that correct?

  • Reporting success or failure of labview command line build

    We've set up a nightly build for our project, using a batch file for compiling the C++ code in our project on Windows. Thanks to some other posts on this subject, we've gotten the command-line build to work in Labview 8.2. I'd like to add the Labview build command to same batch file as the C++ build. We found how to check within Labview if the project built or failed; however, I didn't see a way to report the success or failure status of the build from the Labview environment back up into the calling batch file (as/just before Labview exits).
    One option is to have the batch file check for the existence of the Labview output executable file(s). Does anyone have a more elegant solution?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hello Adam,
    Based on what you have described, your method seems to be the simplest way to do it.  You can not only check whether the executable files were created, but you can also check to see the modification dates to make sure that they are from the latest build.

    Hi, I’ve recently bought an iPad2 and can’t get connected with AppStore or iTunes, when I tap on these icons a grey page pops up saying is loading but never opens the page, no failure message is displayed, it just keep saying is loading.
    Apparently it is not an issue with wifi since Safari, You Tube and Maps work well, I’ve tried some of the tips, e.g. log off/on my Id, change password but no one worked.
    Your help will be highly appreciated.
