Successfully scheduled report shows error

Hi,
I have created a report with direct connection to oracle and uplaoded it to BOXI, then I scheduled it successfully, but when i click on the instance it shows me the following error.
"Your request could not be completed because a failure occurred while the report was being processed. Please contact your system administrator"
Please help on how to solve this problem.

EPM 10 NW Report showing error - No Current connection

After refresh the EPM report , We saved the report locally in the desktop
The problem is User send this report to another user
So receiving user , When ever he opening that report , Its showing this Value error
He using the Excel 2010 Version

Scheduling Agrrement: Showing error message at GR.

I have done scheduling aggrement and also released it, but at the time to Goods receipt showing the below error massege and GR is not happening....
"scheduling aggre. no. -
does not contain any item....
Pls help me out to proceed further...

1.GR and SA dated are matching.
2.Have released the SA
3.Release stratagy is applied to SA.
Other than above checking ....Is thr any other configuration setting should i do?

Backup 3.1 claims backup success but history shows error -54

My incremental backup repeatedly fails to copy my Entourage database 120MB to my iDisk:
Copied file /Users/Andy/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/.DS_Store
Unable to copy /Users/Andy/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/Main Identity/Database: Mac OS error -54.
Failure to backup a critical file is definitely a "Failed" backup so should be reported as an incomplete job
Any ideas how to correct this error?

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and enter ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/Main Identity/ as the folder's path. When this folder has appeared, select the Database file in the Finder and choose Get Info from the File menu. Verify that you have Read & Write access to it; if you do, find out where Backup is putting the files and check that nothing there is interfering with the process.

i just copied the standard report RM07DOCS TO YRM07DOCS
AND EXECUTED.
IT SAYS LAYOUT /GR VKP DOES NOT EXIST FOR YRM07DOCS.
and if i execute without giving any layout , it shows only few fields of output
PLEASE tell ME TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM to get the layout , and complete output..

Hi,
How did you copy your report? Check if there are includes in program RM07DOCS and it is copied in you Z report.
Also, check if your selection is made thru Screen-painter?

Failed to schedule report in Excel format

We have successfully scheduled report in PDF format, however, we go the error message "Error in File D:\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\procSched\eagnmnsx2c5.reportjobserver\~tmp2ee063064fe000e.rpt: The request could not be submitted for background processing" if we select excel as schedule format.
Anyone has any idea why it's happened?

Problem with scheduling reports

We produce reports in Crystal XI R2 and then publish to Enterprise. We have noticed a recurring and 'random' error with certain reports
The reports run fine in Crystal and in Infoview when run on demand. However when we chose the schedule option, the report goes through the motions of running ie status = running for a suitable period of time and goes to Sucess. However when we try to open the report the 'blue bar' will go about 50% and then freeze without opening. After that Infoview hanges and we need to restart. This always happens with certain reports but other similar reports schedule fine.
Any ideas?

That is the problem Clive. I've had similar experiences that had me baffled. Whenever you attempt to open the successfully scheduled report, the subreport is run. Therefore you will have to wait for the subreports to complete before the report opens. Sometimes this took hours, leaving me to think that it froze. But it usually eventually comes up. With each page you go through, the subreport is run again and again. This is very annoying.
I would try modifying the type of subreports I use. Try the report with "On Demand" subreport and "In Place" subreport. See which one gives you better performance. I usually only use subreports for 1 page summary reports. Other than that they take too long. I've had reports that I've redone because the subreport version takes too long.
It is much easier to run these reports on demand.

Send email when report has error status

Hi Gurus,
Is there any possible way through which i can send an email only when we come across an error report in B2B 10g.
Note: Error report means when the status of the report shows error at the console.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi Ayush,
If I got it right then you want to send Email notification in case an error occurs in Oracle B2B. You can definitely do it.
Monitor the error queue (by default IP_IN_Queue) and dequeue messages for B2BERRORUSER. using a BPEL/java utility. Using same utilities you may send Email notification.

How to show error message in a report program

Hello Guys,
I am making a report using smartforms. I am successful in showing data but problem is if if i put a value in parameters that does not exist is database, the smartform runs and related fields shows as empty fields. But the form is running. I want to show error message if the parameter values dose not matches with the database values. The message will show as Document not exists
So i used related error msg here like
if sy-subrc ne 0.
          message e357.
           endif.
But it is not working for passing values to smartform. It works if i use in classical report. Plz help me on this issue.

5.0 won't work - extensions message is "localized string not found". When I force it to try to load a new window it shows a gray screen with the bookmarks on top then immediately closes and wants to report the error. Has been this way since 5.0 came out.

I first tried downloading Safari when the 5.0 update came out last year. When I choose the app in the dock, I get the blue top bar (Safari, File, etc) but nothing else loads. I uninstalled the app and tried again several times, but no success. For over a year now I've used Firefox as a result. Today I thought I'd try again, but same results. When I choose "new window" in the file menu, I get a small gray window with my bookmarks on top, then in a few seconds, the app quits unexpectedly and the report an error screen appears. I've unchecked all the languages in the information area for the app, cleared all history, cookies, and cache. Still the extensions tab in the preferences area has "LOCALIZED STRING NOT FOUND" in 4 places. It won't show what that means when I click the "?". Will I ever be able to use Safari again?

The requirement is to send a 404 error response and that will be handled by a servlet which inturn writes the output to the response object.

Scheduling report error

Hi,
When I am scheduling areport with Now ,when the report status will change to pending ,but it sometimes failing afterwards and showing error message
"Object could not be scheduled within the specified time interval." what can be the reason?
when I am scheduling with once reccuring option , and starttime as currenttime . while seeing the history of report it changes to pending . And no response.
Is there any way I can see the currentime in CMC apart from preferences.

Is there any logs to identify the status of crystal jobserver apart from server tab. because server tab is showing as job server is "running".
My scheduled report is in a pending state for a very long time , and even it is not failing .
How to identify the latest patches are installed or not.

Error while scheduling report for SAP users

Hi All,
We have SAP authentication enabled in our BO environment. (BO XI 3.1 sp2 FP 2.6 on windows 2003 server).
There are some webi reports based on BW Bex queries that we are trying to run on behalf of certain SAP end users. This we are doing using "schedule for" option.
Now what is happening here is if the end user has logged in once in BO system ,it runs fine. But in case user has not logged in to BO (using infoview etc.) ,it throws error saying "incomplete logon data" . Also if user changes or reset his password in BW and if he doesn't login to infoview after that ,system throws another error "Name or password incorrect (repeat logon)".
Based on these observation, we are suspecting if BO system uses stored SAP users credentials while scheduling report for them based on their last login.
Would like to mention here that we have checked option "automatically import users".
Please advice if this behavior is normal or we are missing some setting.

Scheduled discoverer report giving error

Hi All,
I am facing a problem where in I have scheduled a report. The table populated after scheduling is fetching data but when we try to open the scheduled report it gives an error ' Inconsistent datatype expected number got date '.
We are using a function in the report which fetches a date colomn and return type of that date used is Varchar(2). We also tried using the return type as date but same error comes.
An early response will be highly appriciated.

i have similar problem - i have some calculated columns in the report.....when i schedule it the values in one column are getting populated in the other column.....if i run the report manually i did not have any problem.
i had a small calculation for a column (date)....user wanted to see it in a different format in the report.....
already that column was existing in the folder but in a different format......but upon users request i just put up a small calculation for that...........
i scheduled the report and ironically only that calculated column (date) was getting populated wrong........so i pulled the normal date column from the folder..........and now i have two columns for date (1-calculated, 2 - from folder)..........1st column is anyhow getting populated wrong....but the 2nd column was pretty good........
many of you might know....."*IDLE MAN'S BRAIN IS A DEVILS WORKSHOP*"....
i formatted the 1st column with white color and kept the background color also as white......so that when the user opens the scheduled report.....he will see only a blank white column for the 1st column............i told him to export it to excel and then delete that blank column and save your excel output..
i know this is the worst solution or idea anyone can get.........but i had to do it.
