Sudden appearance of over 7000 unread emails on iphone
As I was clearing out my emails yesterday, I suddenly noticed over 7000 emails (marked as unread) in the inbox. However, when I open the inbox, it says "no unread emails." I also have no emails anywhere else (having deleted trash and junk mail). I can find no way of eliminating that pesky number when I close the email. Anyone have any suggestions? I've read anything I can find, and nothing seems to be working.
Hi,
I am using Exchange 2010 server and iPhone 5, the same behavior as yours.
And I refresh the emails in iPhone 5 manually, the unreaded email becomes read.
I think it need some times to sync the changes.
If the status not changed after refreshing manually, I suggest use Windows Phone for test if it is convenient.
If it works in Windows Phone, I suggest asking iPhone support for help so that we can get more professional suggestions.
If it doesn't work in Windows Phone, since Office 365 is different from Exchange 2013 server, I suggest asking Office 365 Forum for help. For your convenience:

IPhone 4s Mail shows over 5000 unread emails, but only 4 show up in Inbox
On my wife's iPhone 4s, running the latest iOS, Mail shows over 5000 unread messages, but there are actually only 4 in the Inbox. Anyone out there who has experienced this and have a fix?
You need to log into your email on a browser and delete them from there.

Sent mailbox showing over 2000 unread emails , which I can't find to delete!
Hi. I am getting messages to say my mailbox is full. I have emptied my folders, but my sent box is showing over 2,000 unread e mails, which I cannot locate. Some weeks ago my e mail address was used to send e mails which were bounced back to my inbox as "undeliverable" or "mailor daemon " - known as "back spatter" I think. They appeared to be to Russian e mail addresses, obviously not from myself, but I am assuming it may be these clogging up my sent box. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks!
Have you checked all the folders (junk mail, deleted items/trash are probable)?

Hello,
Something strange has happened and I've no idea how to fix it. I have been checking my website regularly in a browser as I've been developing it and now suddenly, it is a total mess. What have I done?
Here is my CSS:

The homepage is
http://alfierobertsinstitute.ca/index.html
A JPEG of what it's supposed to look like is here:

Thanks in advance.
MStart by removing the HTML tags from http://alfierobertsinstitute.ca/CSS/layout.css
<style type="text/css">
</style>
Looks like you've manually cut pasted some code from the web and inadvertently included the <style> tags too. -

Old emails that I archived suddenly appeared in my Inbox again
Yesterday over 330 old archived emails suddenly downloaded back into my Inbox. I didn't make any changes to my Gmail account nor did I sync anything. This happened while I was on vacation, so its very bizarre. The emails start from 10 months back - any thoughts on how or why this happened? They all seem mostly like junk emails I must have deleted or archived.
I had this same issue. I hadn't used my iPad for quite some time (say about a month or so) and then when I went to use it again I updated to the new software and all my apps. I hadn't even noticed the mail icon reading that I had over a thousand emails but when I opened my mail and deleted everything the icon still showed I had over a thousand emails unread. I tried everything, but what ended up fixing it was deleting the email account, TURNING OFF THE IPAD COMPLETELY (I tried this once without turning off the iPad and it didn't work), turning it back on and then re-adding my account. That finally fixed it.

I am working on an article of over 7000 words... suddenly, Page, says that document cannot be updated and opened... I lost valuable time and text in the process! What is going on here?
Pages used to make backups... It does no longer... I cannot even revert to a previous version not being able to open the document that I was still working on half an hour ago. Thank heavens, I made a copy by selecting all text and copying it into an email when the problem first occurred yesterday evening. I am now working on it as an email. I can't risk loosing text this way anymore thru Pages. This is very bad. I am truly disappointed by this... particularly having moved from MS Office to iWorks!

I have an apple iphone 4gs... It is synced with my outlook exchange in the office. If I do a search for emails that also checks the server then all of a sudden I end up with various amounts unread email with the inbox saying "Inbox 71" ..which is not true. The only way to make the inbox on the iphone back to 0 is to delete the account then re install it.
Anyone have any ideasWe need to know more about your system, please download EtreCheck and run the report and please post it on your next reply. Then we can see how your system is configured, what apps are on it and look for anything obvious. We will look forward to seeing your report.

iOS5 has restored over 7000 previously deleted emails to our i-pad. At this point, we cannot find a way to mass delete them. Anybody got any ideas?
Problem solved by emptying deleted file on the computer and then deleting and re-installing email accounts on the i-pad.

My photo has suddenly appeared on my emails-how do I remove it?
My photo has suddenly appeared in the upper right hand corner of all my emails. How do I remove it?
At the same time, when I print my emails, the format has chaged. It rearranges my text-if I have breaks, lists, etc it puts the dialogue into continious sentences, ignoring my layoutdeborahk33496 wrote:

Remove your photo from your address book card.
Only you see this by the way, it does not get sent. -
My Aperture library is suddenly empty. I think it happened because I was attempting to import a video with Prism. I did not actually figure out how to complete that and gave up. The next time I opened my computer the library of over 7000 photos was completely empty. My memory quantity has not changed however,
could this mean that the photos are still in there somewhere? My imac is over 5 years old and I just don't know where to go for help.Just to eliminate some possibilities, since you said that memory has not changed (and I'm assuming that you mean there is no more free space on your hard drive than you had before), have you looked to see if you have a filter activated?
Does your search field read "Unrated or better" or "Show All"? I'd check that first: -
HT4759 I have over 7000 emails is there a way to do an massive email delete to start over
I have over 7000 emails in my in box dating back to 2003 how can I get rid of all the emails at once?
On iPad, there is no mass delete option for mail. The way to do this is to use the mail server on your computer and delete the mail there.
