Suddenly cant install any android apk files to Z10

Dear all, i need help with my new Z10 which I have about one week.
I installed some apk files via amazon store or directly from sites. I also installed some applications using Apk Extractor on my second android device and simply moved apk files via bluetooth to my BB Z10.
Everything was fine until yesterday. 
But suddenly I cant install any android apk files. All apk files are grayed and system reports
" unable to open xxxx.apk file ".
Same problem when im trying to install any apps from amazon, or snap.
I did not apply any system update last week.  I rebooted device several times. Also my  " other sources " settings is ON.
my SV is 10.2.1.3062
Any idea please ?   thanks a lot

So resolve this TIME consuming problem, i had another look at that support page and this is what i did to fix it Thank you for your help 99jon for the link.
Copied the elements folder to the root of the HD, then renamed the folder with the installer files contained within to c:\PSElements9Installer then ran the setup.exe as administrator and hey presto, it worked and fully completed the install grrrrr.

    Had the same problem with PSE10 Copying it to kthe root of c and renaming it to PSElements10Installer Worked perfectly.

    I have the same problem, if you tap denie in the app permision, it says that installed, but if you tap open goes to app permision again, tap accept but it will quit, THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION, JUST My PROBLEM

    Is there any difference in an android .apk file developed with flash compared to one developed with flex?
    I just made a test application and the textinput reaction time is way too slow. I used Flash to build it.

  • How do I publish Android APK files from CS5?

    As far as I can understand you need three things to be able to publish Android APK files from CS5:
    1. Air 2.5 or greater (I've downloaded and installed 2.7 beta)
    2. Android SDK (I've downloaded and installed)
    3. Flash CS5 Android Extension (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
    That's right, the last thing you need is no longer available because Adobe is rolling it into the next Flash version. So because I didn't get in on the prerelease with the extension...I'm just out of luck? That can't be right. How do you create APK files from CS5 when you can't get the extension? All of the tutorials out there for creating Android content from CS5 use this simple extension that seems to make everything so easy. What is Adobe's answer for creating APKs out of CS5 if you weren't part of the prerelease? They don't have the extension available anymore so there must be a way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Since you don't say why it won't install, here is what I have found to work on a Vista machine, 32-bit:
    Download but do not install iTunes file from Apple site
    Stop anti-virus and firewall
    Restart computer
    Login as Admin
    Run iTunes installation
    Turn anti-virus and firewall on
    Restart and login as regular user
    Vista likes to leave a lot of installers running in the background even when they finish and that interfers with the iTunes installer.

  • Cant install any driver for Hp NVidia gt230 on Touchsmart 600-1055

    Last few years I bought a HP Touchsmart oversea when I travelled to US then I brought it back to Australia. First couple months it was fine then one day I turned on the PC then It is just black screen after the window 7 boot screen then restart after few seconds. It keeps repeating that process unless I go to Safe mode and remove its NVidia driver and replace with window standard driver ( Video Controller VGA compatible) then I can boot up the window normally but cant use any program that require the delicated graphic card. I have tried hard to find its driver from every resources that I can find on the internet including Hp website and NVidia webiste but still again no luck. for 3 years I still cant find the driver for this that can make it working. What happened? is it my graphic card physically fault or because the software isusse? I forgot to mention that I even try to use the DVDs that I orders from HP USA and try to factory recovery but it is still having the same issue. I try to install many different version of window in cluding win 7 32&64 bits, Window 8 pro 64 bits then STILL NO LUCK. So could anyone please tell me what happened and how to fix it cause as I am aware that HP australia not support for HP USA product and I dont want to see my expensive desktop become a brick.

    Now just because you purchased the computer in Australia does not mean your warranty is not good in the US. I am providing you with a link to theHP Global Warranty and FAQs, which states the following:

For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B)
    This means that your computer  receives the same treatment in the US as a computer sold in the US. I would recommend you contact HP Technical Support to have your issue addressed.

  • Cant install ANY air apps on windows

    im developing soft for a client and it wont install on his machine! his machine wont install ANY air apps! ive tried unstalling and reinstalling both flash and air with no success, also tried deleting the temp folder and still does not work! its a windows xp pc and here is the app install log

    the applications which i've downloaded frm itunes - now days cant install new application - after download that application is seeing from the application tab - and when i select newly downloaded application and when click on "SYCN" button my phone displayes sycing in progress - but after it finished the application is not seeing in phone -

  • Cant install any AIR apps

    I've tried many different things to get AIR apps to run on my
    10.5.5 machine including uninstalling and reinstalling AIR,
    removing the /var/folders/zz folder, repairing permissions, with no
    luck.
    Whenever I try to start any AIR app installer I receive the
    following message:
    The application could not be installed because the AIR file
    is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application
    author.
    Any thoughts on where to go next? Really hoping to avoid
    reinstalling the OS.

  • AIR 3.2 RC1 Installing & Running Android .APK asks for an AIR update?

    I am packaging my app in Flash Pro CS5.5 using the overlay method with AIR 3.2 RC1 (everything is functioning correctly/publishing fine no issues).
    Then once i publish Air for Android directly to the device on application launch, this message pops up -  
    "This app requires a newer version of Adobe AIR.
    Update Abode AIR now?"
    Is there a new version or a different way of packaging the APK? as i heard you dont need AIR now you can package everything inside the APK, please can someone let me know would be appriciated! cheers

    Sorry I hadn't gotten to your post yet.  I'm behind and still going through posts from a week and a half ago
    AIR isn't required for your operating system unless you use an application that depends on it.  Think of AIR like you would Java.  It's a platform/runtime for other applications to be built on.  If you don't use any application that was built with AIR (or Java) then there is no need for it to be installed.
    If you do have an AIR application installed that requires AIR, I would definitely recommend updating to the latest version just to make sure you have all of the security updates that we've provided.  You can do this by visiting get.adobe.com/air and downloading the latest version, which is 3.2.  Updating your OS will not update the AIR runtime.  You can also get updates by actually launching your AIR based applications.  AIR will notice that it's out of date and prompt you to install and update to the latest version.
    Since you haven't received any AIR update notifications, this leads me to believe you aren't actually using any AIR applications.
    You can always start the AIR uninstall process, if AIR applications are installed you'll get a dialog letting you know which applicaiton's will be affected.  You can choose to continue to uninstall or cancel at that point.
    Hopefully this makes sense.

    I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3.6.13 from the mozilla website, (I definatly dont have firefox 4 beta). When I try to add any new search add-ons such as Bing, Youtube, IMDB I awlays get the same message "This search engine isnt supported by firefox and cant be installed".
    I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox same problem persists, I even re-installed my OS as I needed to do it anyway and same problem.

    I have found a fix for myself, but i still would like to know what caused the problem.
    If i get the error message, all i have to do is go to the address bar and type in random letters, then when i click install, they install and no more error message.
    anyone able to explain please?

    ive been having ALOT of issues trying to get A3 working - finally decided to delete a3. now i go through install with disk for a2 and i cant find it! so i tried a3 again - says install successful - but i cant find it! what did i do? i then deleted the receipts related to aperture and that didnt help.
    what am i missing?? why cant i find aperture after keep reinstalling?

    Your
    /Library/Application Support/ProApps/ProAppsSystemID file is screwed up - you need to get rid of it but this will cause you to re-enter all of your serial numbers for Aperture/FC/Logic. This was your issue with A3 to.

    But first of all, make sure you have a genuine Nokia CA-42 cable.
    Secondly make sure you have the latest software drivers fro the cable installed:

    After that, if things still do not work, you could provide answers to questions like:
    - What kind of apps (name, version, filename, URL) did you try to install?
    - What, exactly, are you trying to do (step-by-step)?
    - What happens (including any and all error messages word-for-word as displayed)?
    That way we don't have to attempt to do mind-reading (which doesn't work very well, or at least I'm not very good at it).
