Working on Mac, everything up to date. I can download into CS6, so card is ok. LR supports my camera, didn't have any problems until now... Help?

No error message at all. Not any message. Whenever I tried to import from my camera everything looks normal, the bar etc. but it's not importing. The task bar just shows the little progress and sits there for hours... I optimized it, I even remove Lightroom from my computer and downloaded it again, checked all the boxes, created new catalog, new folders - nothing! I have a deadline with my pictures and this is a nightmare. Help!

All of the sudden I can't import any mp3 in my spotify playlists no more.When I try to drag and drop something into my playlist or local data nothing happens,I think it doesn't even recognize the data as mp3 because there is not the little "+" icon while I move the mp3 over spotify.It began a couple of days ago and I can't figure out why and didn't find any information on that online. I have the exact same issue, but with a standard IMAP account and SMTP. My iPhone can send out, using the EXACT same settings, from the exact same WiFi connection...but the 10.8 MacBook cannot send at all. The only account I can send out on is my iCloud account.
I have also tried all the steps above...no luck.
I have also turned off all network filters and firewalls...no luck. (And as I said above, my iPhone is on the exact same WiFi connection and using the exact same settings, and it can send fine.)
Other messages I've found via Google have suggested simply forcing the SMTP server to use Port 25, but that didn't work for me either.

I can't import any files or folders into Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 projects. When I select import and then either files or folders, I am able to navigate to the drive where the media is being stored, but then when I scroll to locate the files or folders the drive disappears. This problem began as an intermittent problem, but now I cannot import any files or folders. This problem started when I upgraded my operating system to Yosemite version 10.10.2 on my mid-2010 Mac Pro running with 16 GB of memory and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics card. Can anyone help me figure out and solve this serious problem? Thanks!

Then just drag the files/folders from your hard drive into FCP. Don't use the IMPORT option...just drag and drop.
The problem started when you installed an OS that doesn't support FCP 7. So if you want things to work smoothly, it's best to go back to an OS that did support FCP 7. Yosemite was written without taking FCP 7 functionality in mind, so it isn't fully functional. It might not do one thing for someone...but works for you in that respect. But then you can't do something else. The ways it doesn't work is always random. Or it might work great for some people, because they don't use functions that might no longer work....so they don't notice it.

Just bought a macbook, I'm new into MAC, I'm a MAC ROOKIE. I'm trying to import my email from my microsoft outlook express to my MAC MAIL, I followed the instructions to import from outlook but when I locate the outlook files for my emails (they have extension .dbx but it won't let me select the files. Besides in the outlook folder there are dozens of files (1 per email subfolder). What am I doing wrong that I can't import the emails, nor the address book?

Pay attention to the information Mail displays during the import process. It could be that it wants you to select the folder that contains the files to be imported, rather than the files themselves.
EDITED: Now that I've read your post again, I don't think you're going to be able to do this on your MacBook, as importing from Outlook Express requires that application to be running in the "Classic" environment, which isn't available for Intel-based Macs.
Disclaimer: I know next to nothing about how importing from Outlook Express is supposed to work, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I did not save the file, I only exported it and than exited the program.
My active file is vannished.
I need to make some adjustments to the ebook, but can not bring it back up.

Check for previous versions of that book in iBA....even if not saved.
You can dig into the .ibooks file by changing the suffix to zip, but you'll have to manually extract what you can from assets you find. Please only do this with your own books.

I meant by "not compatible" that all the solutions that I found on the web did not work, especially the "Microsoft exchange" one.
Fortunately I found on the comments of the first website you mentioned the right answer for me, which I copy below:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDav Account.
Enter the following information in the fields:
Server: google.com
User Name: Enter your full Google email address
Password: Your Google account password
Select Next at the top of the screen to complete the setup.
After you have completed the setup, open the Contacts app on your device. Syncing should begin automatically.
Additional Information
Note: Make sure that SSL is enabled (under Advanced settings), and that the port is 443.
If you are using application based special password go to https://accounts.google.com/Se... and instead of your password put that special code and u r done.

what I meant to suggest was if the camera does not show in finder or in L&T check the camea menu setting is set to connect to the hard drive and not from the camera or memory card.

Unfortunately I need more help if you or someone else can provide it. I followed all the steps you have instructed so far in the threads I have seen. Unfortunately nothing so far works for me. Maybe you or someone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I tried the notepad++ method and when I click on save I always get a notepad file that my iTunes can't do anything with. I click the "convert to UTF-8 without BOM" then click save as and it still saves as a notepad file. I am also unable to find the \n\ file path to replace with my \C:\ filepath. If you want to duplicate your Folder Tree in iPhoto:
Start at the bottom of the hierarchy and drag a folder of images to the Album Heading in iPhoto. The pics will be imported and an Album of the same name created.
You can then create the Enclosing Folders in the iPhoto Window (File -> New Folder) and drag the Album to it. Folders can contain other Folders (Nested Folders) and Albums.
However, is your folder system date based? Then this form of organisation is a bit pointless in iPhoto when Smart Albums or the Calendar tool (Click on the wee magnifying glass in the Search Box) mean you can find the photos taken on any day, month or year at a click. With Smart Albums it's easy to find photos from specific range - say, June 3 to August 25, 2009 etc.
If your folder system is theme based - Xmas pics, Birthday pics etc, then you'll find Keywords are much more flexible, and can be used in conjunction with other criteria for making Smart Albums and searches.

Has been awhile since I worked in Corel (so do not remeber if Corel had clipboard settings whcih need adjusuting), but do remember copying a path, getting that into Phothshop as shape layer for part of the artowrk in a trade show poster.

You can't: iWeb cannot import html files, and relies entirely on its own 'Domain' file which lives by default in your User Library. You would have to recreate the site from scratch, using the original as a guide and a source for images and text; or use an HTML editor.
Depending on how complicated the site is you may be able to do this in Kompozer, which is free. It is a WYSIWYG web page created which also gives you access to the code, and which can open any HTML page (though if the page is heavily dependent on external CSS you may have difficulties with it).

I just tried exporting the existing cloud calendar - which confusingly we've called "Family" and it's been in place for the last 4 years! - and then re-importing it and seeing if it will let me import to an existing calendar rather than make a new one. It worked for a few seconds (I told it to import in to the new "Family" calendar set up through Family Sharing). They all showed up alright - effectively duplicating all family events - but then I had thousands of error messages telling me the event already existed on the server and the only thing I could do was 'Revert to Server' - which deleted them all again. (It let me choose "Ignore" to start with but when the thousands of events clocked over to the first one again I knew I was on a hiding to nothing!).
Going to try doing it about-face and deleting all trace of the original "Family" calendar first this time, (OK to do now that it's been exported)... stand by . . .
