Suddenly, I cannot print any webpages.

Printing icon appears on toolbar but nothing happens, and page does not go to pending document queue [sp?].
I am able to print webpages using Internet Explorer; I can also print Word documents.
Printing test also confirms my printer is working.

Try the '''''reset''''' described here: <br />

I cannot print from Firefox either all of a sudden. Maybe first thing in the AM, it will print something but then, that's it. I am running OX 10.5 too and using Firefox 3.6.8. I am ready to stop using this!! I like it but it is frustrating. I am on my mac all day for work and cannot find a solution to this Firefox problelm. Maybe Mozilla can help me. Anyone have any answers? I use a HP Laserjet 2300L.

I followed the FAQ troubleshooting and that didn't help

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

  • Am connected to orange fr, i can d/load emails etc but cannot open any webpages, Ipod Touch 5th version, latest IOS installed. Any advise please.  First time I have experienced this as my Ipod works immediately elsewhere

I am connected to Orange fr, I can download emails etc but cannot open any webpages.  Ipod Touch 5th vers, latest IOS installed, any advice would be most welcome.  This is the first time I have had this problem as my Ipod works immediately everywhere else.  My laptop does not show this problem using the same orange provider, so its obviously some setting in the Ipod :-(

    Try this:
    1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar at bottom
    2. Hold the Safari app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
    3. Tap the minus sign to close app
    4. Re-launch the app and test
Note: If necessary close all apps in the Task Bar

  • Cannot print a webpage even after doing print.print.printer reset.

I'm using version 7.01 and am unable to print any webpage. I went to Help section today and read instructions to reset print.print.printer in Preferences; I did it, and my HP Officejet 4500 appeared on that page, and I figured it was solved. It isn't. I still can print no webpages.

Hm. Hate to admit it, but after reading more comments on problems with Firefox 8 regarding printing webpages than I'd ever seen re earlier versions, somehow I'm hesitant to try this solution.

  • I cannot print any websites; every time I press "print" it goes to "save the file as [xps]" instead. What's up?

I cannot print any websites; every time I press "print" it goes to "save the file as [xps]" instead. What's up? I can print in Word without problem.

Bless you, bless you, bless you. After months of living with this annoying problem and not being able to print out emails or websites it is, in a stroke, totally solved. Thank you! It works. It's a wonder and you're a winner!

  • I have Reader XI. All of a sudden I cannot print a document in Reader.

I have Reader XI. I have a HP laptop with Windows 7 and a HP Envy 5530 printer. I was able to print from Reader last week. Now all of a sudden I cannot print. Not having printer issues except with Adobe Reader. Tried the suggestion to change security level in Reader. That did not work.

I found this on the Adobe site.  Seems to be working for me...for now.  Needs to be set as Administrator and it works fine after that. Not sure why mine switched unless it was during some type of update.  Good Luck!!!

  • All of a sudden I cannot watch any videos using Firefox, not even from YouTube. Why?

All of a sudden I cannot watch any videos using Firefox. All I get is a square black box. I can see them if I use Safari. Why isn't my Firefox working? What can I do? Thanks.

Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
    Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or Firefox->Preferences->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Try clearing the Youtube cookie in Firefox->Preferences->Privacy
    refresh page.
If that still does not work then try making the youtube url as http'''s'''://
It is apparently a issue with Youtube as people with other browsers are getting the same. http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?hl=en&tid=3cda4dac122b8f13

  • I cannot print any page from firefox 3.6.17, using Mac OS

All of a sudden I cannot print pages from Firefox. I cannot even print e-mails. I am on Mac OS 10.5.8 using Firefox 3.6.17. All I get is blank pages. I can, however, print from Safari.

I did as benshaine posted in his thread here: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/789780 I installed Firefox 3.5.10 to my desktop, printed from 3.5.10 and then went back into 3.6.x and I could print.

  • I cannot print any of my old pdf files. there is no option anywhere.

i have a new computer  with windows 8 but not a touch screen and i cannot find a way to print any pdf documents

I would say download Adobe Reader. It is a free software and there should be a print button from there.
Otherwise if you right click when you have the document open in the standard Windows 8 reader, (Which I think is astoundingly called reader if I remember right) there should also be a print option there.

  • Cannot print any Microsoft product

No Microsoft office product will print and I'm getting this message:
"Word cannot print due to a problem with a current printer. Make sure you have a printer selected in Print Center. You may need to print again or adjust your printer settings."
This message pops up no matter which printer I select.
Three things may have contributed (or not!):
1. just added iWork 08 & iLife 08
2. used the most recent update of Microsoft
3. printer/fax machine MAY HAVE been plugged into computer when fax tried to transmit (can't remember for sure as I've tried to problem solve)

I have gone to Microsoft help and gone through the entire troubleshooting guide: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=313553
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
As far as I know, registration is not required for Office 2008 for Mac. This issue (the Office Setup Assistant opens when you try to open an Office application) usually occurs when the Office Setup Assistant detects any corruption in the license
file (Product Key) was used to install Office 2008 for Mac.
You might want to reload the software and reenter the produce key that is included with your original installation disk, then try again.
Also, please note this is the forum to discuss questions and feedback for Windows-based Microsoft Office client. Since your query is directly related to Office for mac, I would suggest you to post in the forum of Office for Mac, where you can get more experienced

  • After update to Firefox 9 the browser cannot load any webpage.

When I try to visit any webpage there is an error message saying that Firefox cannot connect to the server and suggesting that I check the internet connection, regardless of what webpage I try to visit. I am using Internet Explorer right now to be able to report this problem...

Thanks! After rebooting and updating Norton Internet Security the problem was fixed.

  • I am receiving incoming emails but all of a sudden, I cannot send any outward emails

I am receiving emails but all of a sudden, I cannot send outgoing emails. Any ideas why?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
    Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
