Suddenly I have an activation message and it tells me I am not registered under the Developer Program
My phone is registered under my Developer Account. I have been running iOS 5 and suddenly I have a push message alert saying that my phone needs activation. There is no other choice so I continue. Where it tells me ultimately that my device is not registered under the Developer Program. Where in fact in my provisioning port it is registered "Device UDID: a11fd552a3f065fa2a04035ae686fcb333a4deed"
If I can do a hard reset I would. Any advice or why this is happening?
Hooking up to itunes (via cable) I got, a message saying some of your software had expired, then itunes couldn't sync due to not being able to determine the apps on the device.
I then completed a restore from a backup (which also re-installed IOS 5.0 from fresh download)
Now this then did fix the problem.
I therefore think the issue was that we were using a beta version of IOS which had expired, we therefore needed to re-install IOS released version to prevent this issue.
I did try to install the full version once IOS was released, but I couldn't update, I simply got a message from itunes, your system is up to date IOS 5, it didn't seem to read the build number and see that it was a beta release, which would have prevented this issue happening.

It's beta. It's no where near ready for prime time. It's put out there so that developers can start getting their products ready fo the new release.
I've been working in IT for over 25 years. People have gotten the wrong idea about what a beta is thanks to the likes of google, who release a product to market and call it "beta" just so they don't actually have to support it. I've beta tested operating systems going all the way back to OS/2 when it was still a joint Microsoft/IBM project. Believe me, you do NOT want beta versions of operating systems getting into the hands of the unwashed masses. It would quickly turn from 'getting rid of bugs' to outright revolt. -
I have just purchased the ipad and trying to log onto itunes and it tells me I am not connected . i typed in my apple sign on and it states cannot connect to itunes store. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?
I'm sort of confused by your response. Did your iPad start up? If I DO understand - you are frozen on the sign in setting for the Store?
Try this - force quit the settings app.
Force quit the app by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears. Let go of the sleep button and then hold down on the home button until the app quits. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

I forgot my security questions and I don't have a rescue email setup.
I serached the internet and the only solution I found for that is to call apple. The proble is there is no phone to call, they have to call you and there is a list of countries.
I live in Lebanon and it does not appear in the list of countries listed for apple customer support call.
How can I reset the security questions.

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.

No. Replacements are always the same as what is being replaced. No back camera now means no back camera after replacement.

I've been texting my friend with iMessage with wifi on and all of a sudden it changed to text message and won't let me send messages. My wifi is still on and working but it won't switch back to iMessage. Please help
What I recommend you try doing first is to turn iMessage off then back on. If that doesn't work, make sure that your Apple ID and password are correct. If everything seems correct and you still can't send out messages using iMessage instead of text message, I think you should either try calling AppleCare at 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466) and/or scheduling an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store (that is, if there's one close to you).

It sounds as if you had a device that was jailbroken/hacked to operate on your carrier. Upon updating the iOS, it is now locked back to the original carrier the device was locked to.
Only the carrier the device is locked to can authorize an unlock. You will need to make contact with that carrier and see if they provide unlocking services, and if they do, if you qualify for an unlock. Otherwise, you are out of luck. One that carrier can take care of the unlocking. -
I have a new computer and I can't access my Itunes account. The message says I can't have more than 5 computers on this account and I don't. What can I do?
First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have. -

Sometimes you have to reset the SMC two or three times for it to work, don't know why. I've seen that error message before and 100% of the time it was fixed with an SMC reset. I suppose it's possible that your keyboard or mouse IS drawing too much power, do you have access to another you could try?

I have an Iphone 5S and used to sync it to my computer in the past without any problem, but now I can't, and appears the message "usb device not recognized", and the cable is good and so the USB port. Do you have any idea what's the problem?
Try leaving it plugged in and then restart the computer.

First, try the automated fixit from Microsoft on the link below.

Check if the drive is now working.
If it still doesn't work, click the Start Menu, open All Programs, open Accessories, right click the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'. In to the prompt type the following command and hit enter.
sfc /scannow ( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )
Let the process complete, then type exit and hit enter.
Next, click the Start Menu, open the Control Panel and click on Device Manager. Next click to open DVD/CD-ROM Drives. Right click the drive and select uninstall. Do not delete drivers if asked. When the device has uninstalled click on the 'Scan for Hardware Changes' icon ( usually just below Help on the toolbar ). Let windows reinstall the drive and see if it now works.
