suddenly my double click both on track pad and mouse is not working.in System Preferences,track pad, i have ticked and unticked the Tap to click several times.Restarted the mac for several times at well but still i do not have double click.help me please.

It might be the double click speed setting.
Look in System Preferences > Universal Access > Mouse & Trackpad tab > Trackpad options.. button > move the double click speed to the slow side of the range.

Scroll pad works on and off, will not work on some menus. E key will work sometimes, usualt types an upper case E and not a lower case, will not type 2 E's in a row. Works ok when typing a 2. There were some other buttons giving issues a while ago and then it all went away and now this just started again out of nowhere. I tried backing up / wiping the phone, upgraded to the latest software and it is still giving me issues. The phone has never been exposed to any sort of moisture, I don't even use it in the rain.
Another issue, possibly related, possibly not is that I get 1 vertical line and 1 horizontal line in my photos I take. This started out happening sometimes and not other times but now it is constant.

Is the phone still under warranty? If so, I'd contact Sprint as this sounds like its probably a hardware issue (especially if updating the software didn't help). If the phone isn't under warranty any more, let us know and we'll see if there is anything we can come up with that could help.

Red track button and mouse does not work sometimes on start up and after stand by mode

i recently downgraded my t61p from vista basic to xp pro. all the drivers were installed but my mouse doesn't seem to work consistently. if i turn it on, sometimes it doesnt move -- i then have to hit standby and see if it works after that.. sometimes it does
also, if leave my computer on for a while -- it doesnt properly work then either
any suggestions? i've tried re-installing the drivers but doesnt do much.

have you installed all recent windows updates like SP3?
What kind of mouse are u using?The normal ultranav on your TP or a third party mouse? Bluetooth or cable?
Some bluetooth mice are disconnecting after some time, also your USB port, when on battery can switch off to save energy.

How do I double-click with a track-pad?

I'm new to Mac, and I just bought a beautiful new Apple MacBook laptop. I'm trying to install academic version of Adobe Photoshop 6 (this disk of software was originally made for PCs but I hear it's possible to make it work on a MacBook as well. My question is, how do I double-click with a track-pad, like in order to install new software from actual disks? I'm a multi-media artist and student, among other things. Thanks!

Double clicking is done by going to System Preferences/Keyboar and Mouse/Trackpad and then selecting the action you'd like.
However, PS 6 will be more of a task!
If it's a Windows disc then you'll need to install a Windows XP on your Macbook either through Parallels or Bootcamp.
Perhaps another 'Mac Friendly' graphics program might be more suiting if you'd like to stick in with the Mac OS X enviornment. Check out these apps....

If you mean can you have them both connected at the same time, then it's a yes. I have both connected and use the mouse for some functions and the trackpad for others... works a charm.

Track pad and touch screen stopped working

My phone was out of charge and it turned out as soon as i plugged it in the charger but i noticed that neither my track pad or touch screen are working. i tired removing and putting back the battery and restarting it but with no use please post the solution asap thankyou.

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

Double clicking top of the window and collapsing it not sending it to dock

Unsanity does not have a fix for leopard
windowshade would collapse the window
now double clicking sends it to the dock which is not at all helpful to me ever.
is there a way to collapse the window maintaining it on the desktop

Built-In track pad - one finger features not working!

I am experiencing a problem with my MacBook Pro built-in Trackpad, after upgrading to Lion, the one finger drag and highlight is not working. Only the tree fingers option is woking for drag and highlight.
I have another Macbook and the one finger drag/ highlight is woking fine after Lion upgrade
The three fingers drag and highlight is non useful, how can i enable the one finger drag/highlight?

You can adjust the trackpad here:
System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click
Turn off Tap to Click this will require you to actually click the trackpad instead of just touching.
You can also adjust the Tracking Speed using the slider.

My MacBook's built in touch pad and keyboard is not working.

into it. when i did that,an error occurred like "please pressing the just after the Right Shift Key Button"
but there was not such kind of button on that keyboard.so i pressed the Shift key instead.
it works that time,but after some time i discovered that,my build in track pad and build in keyboard
stop responding permanently. Now i have to use my MacBook using both USB mouse and keyboard.

I don't have an answer, but have suddenly developed a similar problem. Early today we got a new Verizon FIOS router to replace an older one. Once the tech fired the thing up and we got everything in the house logged into it, I noticed that my iPhone 4S wifi speed was mighty low. Using the Speed Test app, I was getting a wavering average of between 4 and 7 Mbps. Even on the old router I was usually getting 20-30 Mbps. I checked all the other devices in my house and noted all were getting at least 25-35 Mbps--including my wife's iPhone 4S, my kids iPod 5, and our iPad 2. The wired Windows desktop gets more than 60 Mbps and the wireless laptop gets more than 40. I tried all the tricks on my iPhone--restarting, forgetting the network and the resetting it, and even resetting all of the network settings. Nothing gets me any faster, yet my wife's iPhone 4s blazes away at 25-35+. I even went into the router and played with disabling WMM and switching (briefly) to b/g mode. No luck. Finally, I decided to take out the new router and put back the old one--the verizon tech was nice enough to leave the old one with me--but my speed did not increase one iota. I'm stumped. It worked fine two days ago, and all of our other Apple devices (including an identical iPhone 4S) are fine and run at super speeds. What happened to my phone?

Keyboard, Touch pad and battery are not working.

I cannot turn on my Macbook (10.4.11) without the power adapter connected. The keyboard does not work nor does the touch pad. I've searched the forums for anyone else with this problem, there are similar instances but mostly related to Leopard. I'm having to use an external keyboard and mouse to continue working. Looking for fixes.

The left click will not work to highlight text, copy, paste.   The tap and rt click, window pull down, work fine.
Funny... the story matches all of you.   Wanted to remove/install driver, I suggested we look for issues first or ck the dates of drivers.   Seemed to hose my EXPLORER window and speed.   Then the bios change and I said should we ck the dates/Revs and we moved forward.   No reading of fix, or this has been issue and I asked many times is this a issue.   I also saw this on the store demo unit when I was cking them out. NO REPLY.... wish I looked here first and pushed to talk to tech/svc manager.
Phone help tried to take over my computer and link/web would not work it failed!!
Tech also wanted me to do system restore and I declined.   I replied I have not loaded anything yet, only updated Norton and did a little web searching, windows update, HP update.   I also looked at the pad and button settings ... found nothing I missed.   I called them incase there was odd box/set I missed.   I hate being lied to, they know from I am reading here... two threads so far and 2-3 people on each.    I did not want to restor.... nothing is changed.... do not want to exersise the Hard Drive.   Asked her to research problem and find the fix... rather than just keep changing stuff.   The bios was flashed for the same bios rev.
While doing this work with tech.... the pointer went to top and not moved from top right.   The parts of screen starting to flash, the curser would lock, IExplorer got very slow... to 30 sec to load the internet page vs 2 sec
I also just found..... you can switch the fuctions of rt/left button and still copy paste.   But the left button will not pull down the pull down windows.   What a mess!
You can go to system information and print of your currrent list of soft and hard.   That will tell you what is up todate and what is not.

Can i use track pad and mouse when using two displays

I have a second display I wonder if I can use my mouse for the other display and my track pad for my macbook pro.

Although Apple has enabled multiple Finder and Dock display functionality as an option within Mission Control preferences, there is no means to assign pointing devices to different displays.
I have two Apple devices: Magic Trackpad and Mouse. One mouse pointer is allocated to both devices regardless which screen I am using. That's the way it is.

Help! My Keyboard and mouse will not work all of a sudden on my G4

I am having a problem with both my keyboard and mouse. I have a graphite G4 and recently had to run disk warrior on i. I have had endless problems with this computer and even have a 2nd hardrive on it since it only came with a 10Gig. Needless to say it is all I have right now. I am running os x 10.2.2 on it and a few days after I recessitated it with disk warrior my keyboard and mouse suddenly went dead while I was on the internet. I tried pluging the two into different usb ports both on the tower and also into the flat panel mac display that it came with and nothing. I plugged in my wacom tablet and that works. i then tested the mouse and keyboard on my husband's dell laptop and they work. I cannot reset the PRAM b/c the keyboard won't work! What do I do??????

Besides removing the battery, you can do a PMU reset which will zap PRAM. See Mac PRAM, NVRAM, CUDA/PMU & Battery Tutorial
You only describe your Mac as a G4 graphite, which I believe is a G4 AGP. Here’s a diagram showing the location of the PMU reset button.
