Suddenly unable to view any videos
I have a new iMac (about a week old) and suddenly, I can't view any video content. I have reinstalled Flashplayer numerous times and a window comes up saying the install was successful but I still can't view anything.
All video content disappeared. I did a restart on my computer and everything was working again but it has come back. I don't know if i can see DVD video as I don't have an optical drive on this computer.
I'll try another restart.

I am unable to view any videos on Youtube, my flash player is up to date.
This morning it was fine, now I am not able to view any video's on Youtube, I followed the information on your blog under the flash player options and it did not work.
Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or
Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie and refresh page if above does not do it. -
I am not able to view any YouTube videos on YouTube or Facebook whilst using Firefox. My Flash Player/Plugin/Shockwave Player & Javascript are all the most recent and all show as up to date and working. On selecting a video to view I now have a blank screen which I have right clicked on & notice there is an Adhoc Plus - Block Image message and wonder if this should be there as this is not the case when viewing through Internet Explorer (which still allows me to view all videos & shows that I have Flash Player installed when I right click on the same screen). I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to see if this would solve the problem but this has made no difference. I have also noticed on my Firewall that Javascript is not showing as an Exception and changed this to find that this has made no difference either. I am now at a complete loss - can anyone help me please as I would like to keep using Firefox. Many thanks
There are a number of active threads concerning the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (13). Not all users are experiencing the same issues, but things to check include the following:
- Conflict with Realplayer Browser Record plugin (to disable this, open Add-ons from the orange Firefox button or the classic Tools menu and look under the Extensions and Plugins categories)
- Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 Adobe Forums: How do I disable Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?])

When I go to the BBC (British Broadcasting Corp) website, and click on a video, I get a "Not Available" message. I do not encounter this problem with Internet Explorer. I currently have
the Firefox 3.6.18 version installed. Thank you.Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

Unable to view music videos in iTunes on mac
I have iTunes on a G5 Mac Pro It is on the latest version of 10.5 with the most recent update to iTunes. I am unable to view music videos many of which I purchased from the iTMS or came with music CD's as extras some are m4v others are mp4.
If on import I set the option for format as being Music Video I cannot get the videa to launch double clicking on the video gives a picture in the album cover window but does not launch the video viewer nor does the video play. I dont often view music videos just Movies or TV Shows and last time I did I recall Music Videos playing they opened in a seperate window and there was once a setting in preferences where you could choose if a video launched in a new window or used on in iTunes.
I have used the info window to change the video type to standard movie and then going back to the file in iTunes double clicking launches the video in full screen mode. Once I then set back to Music Video it reverts to refusing to play.
In any format the file plays in Quicktime
Any suggestions pointing to where the problem may lie would be welcome. I cant see any relevant settings to set how a video displays in either menus or Preferences other than ensuring video window stays on top. It maybe in one of the many upgrades this Mac and iTunes has had the settings have been corrupted.They will not show up in a separete category in iTunes. This is because the videos will show up as songs so that you can play the audio portion of a video without the video. Try it.

NMH405 - Unable to view any files using the FIle Browser
Hello,
I logged in to the FIle Browser, hoping to delete some photos from my media hub. However, I am unable to view any music, photo, or video files on this page, nothing listed. All blank when I clicked on these 3 folders.
No problems accessing the actual files in their respective pages. I could play the music and video files, and view the photos. But I can't carry out any maintenance on them via the File Browser.
Checked the User Guide, but couldn't find any clues to this problem. Could someone please help me?

Files that were imported and stored on the Import Folder won't be detected on the NMH File Browser. You may only see them if you manually classify the files to it's corresponding folder.
It means, you need to move the files based on their file type. AVIs, WMV, etc. should be placed on your Videos folder .. Mp3s, Wavs, etc. should be moved to the Music folder .. Jpgs, Gifs, etc. should be moved to Pictures folder ..

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in <u>[[Safe mode]]</u>:

I can not view ANY videos on Vimeo, I have 'reset' the Ipad, original IOS 5, cleared the history and cookies, I haves changed the DNs number to 8.8.8.8, I have worked on this for 3 days now, HELP!!!!

Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Unable to view any chart in OBIEE
i've installed OBIEE. I'm unable to view any chart in Dashboard. I see any other type of table (pivot, compound) but when i create a chart i see the red cross in the top left corner. It's possible i need a specific JVM?

My MacBook running Mountain Lion does not allow me to view any videos on the Internet. The place where the video is supposed to be just shows black rectangle.
