Suddenly will not communicate with PC

I have had my iPod for 2 years with no problems.
Now , when I try to download from itunes, although the computer makes the connection 'beep' and the ' do not disconnect' message shows - nothing else happens. When I give up and remove the ipod from the docking station, it works fine - but has not got any updated tracks. Whilst in the docking station you can hear the hard disk clicking.
I have tried running update - but the software does not recognise that an ipod is 'mounted' even though again the pc has made the initial 'beep' when the ipod is docked.
Any suggestions?

The appearance of the printer in the Default view of the Add printer window relies on a protocol called Bonjour. There have been quite a few users who upgraded to Yosemite only to find that their wifi printer is no longer visible. Until Apple resolves this issue you can add your printer using the LPD protocol. To do so you will need to determine the IP address being used by the MX890. This can be done via the touch panel under Device Settings > Network Settings.
Once you learn the IP address then on the Mac you can click to add the printer and select the IP icon. Here you can enter the IP address, set the Protocol to Line Printer Deamon and leave the Queue field blank. Then change the name to Canon MX890 and in the Use menu, browse for the Canon MX890 series driver. Then click Add to complete the printer creation.

It says it is ready but when I go to print a picture (4x6 or 5x7) that printer is not available. I downloaded an updated

Printer deskjet f4200 will not communicate with computers

OK so I am at a loss I know the communication is the issue. I used this without problem from install till I had to have the computer crashed. Any help ? I have tried installing twice and the doc numerous times.

Airport time capsule will not communicate with apple tv

I have just purchased the new AIRPORT TIME CAPSULE...it will not communicate with my APPLE TV..

Is the Time Capsule the only wireless router in your current network configuration? That is, is it connected directly to an Internet modem (and not another router) via Ethernet? Is the Apple TV in the same room, different room, or different floor from the Time Capsule?

HELP! My hp probook computer(win 7, 64 bit) will not communicate (wireless) with my photosmart c 6180 printer. I did have this problem about 6 months ago, and here it is again! I have uninstalled my printer driver,then reinstalled, turned off, and turned on all three , computer, printer, and router (verizon). I tried the link that uses scan doc to determine the problem, but that too cannot find my printer. Also reinstalled the WEP in my printer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My Itunes will not communicate with either of my ipods. I have unistalled all Apple products from my computer. Completely reinstalled Itunes, however still it keeps telling me to reinstall Itunes to correct the software issue. Please help me!

Please help me. I have an Ipod Shuffle and Ipod Nano both the latest versions. I can not get them to communicate with my ITunes. I have tried the troubleshooting and I have tried completely taking all Apple software off my computer and reinstalling Itunes. I could really use someones help. I cannot find "Other" devices. I found Apple Mobile Device under Universal Bus Controllers but cannot see "recovery mode" or any other status. I use Windows Vista.
When I try to restart Apple Mobile Device Service I get the following message: "The Apple Mobile Device Service on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs". What does this mean?
During the last 48 hours I was able to see my iPad in iTunes only one time during many attemnpts to connect . I haven't been able to see it during the llast several attempts.
Any suggestions? The standard suggestions have not worked: i.e. stop then start AMDS; tuurn off iPad and PC, then restart both and reconfrom iPad to PC; reload iTunes.

TC will not communicate with Airport Utility error -6753. Wireless, internet (unsecure), and backup work fine., ,

TC is not communicating with Airport Utility (error -6753). I do have a flashing amber light. The wireless (printer, TiVo), internet (unsecure), and backups to Time Capsule work fine. I have done many hard and soft Resets, but that has not helped. Airport utility show the TC as amber and but won't let me findout the status of what is causing the problem.

What mode is the TC running in, router or bridged? You can sometimes have issues if the TC is bridged and the network is getting IP in a different subnet.
I would recommend disconnecting the TC from the network and plugging it directly into the Mac via ethernet. You may also need to do a reset if the dhcp is off, as in bridge.
Also note are you pressing the reset for long enough that the led on front starts blinking rapidly.. hold it in for 15sec to be sure.

Ical will not communicate with Mobile Me or Google Calendar

Suddenly this week IMAC stopped communicating with Mobile Me.
After chatting with Mobile Me support they determined it was an ICAL issue.
I talked to Apple Support and I reinstalled Ical.
Can I restore my Ical events? I am running Time Machine.

Since IOS7 update, my car stereo will not communicate with my Iphone 4

Ok, I have had Kenwood car stereos with bluetooth connection since they came out with it and I have never had a problem. Now I am so mad, I am ready to throw my phone out the window. I can plug into usb or stream music bluetooth and it plays just like it always has. It even lists the name of the song and artist while the song plays. My problem is that since the update, I can no longer skip songs or dial by voice. I called Kenwood and they say that I am not alone. Their phones have been ringing constantly with disgruntled Iphone users. Do I need to buy a new phone or can Apple fix the problem? As I see it, this is dangerous because you literally have to pick up your phone, swipe the screen once to unlock, then swipe again to go to music playing, then pick the song you want to listen to which now shows up as like 20 tiny thumbnails (android copy?). How am I supposed to drive safely when I have to do this? Before I could just put Itunes on shuffle and tap the next button on my remote to skip songs without ever taking my eyes off the road. Also, before IOS7 I could hit the voicecall button and dial by saying the name of the person I wanted to call. Now I have to unlock the phone and go through the whole dangerous process of finding the contact and dialing. Is there a fix in the works Apple? Please advise. Thanks

If your phone supports Siri (a 4 doesn't), you _should_ be able to hold down the home button until she is ready then say call XXX. Of course, that is only a stopgap. I have no idea why Apple has to break things to advance their OS. I'm not happy about many of the stunts they pull these days. The only other suggestion I have is to delete the pair between devices and pair them again. There's a slight chance it may work. Otherwise, one of the companies is going to have to release an update to fix it. Maybe kenwoodusa.com already has. Have you checked?

SAP Content server will not communicate with MaxDb 7.8

Hello all
For the past few months we have been testing an upgrade from SAP CS 630 to SAP CS 640 and from MaxDb 7.6 to MaxDb 7.8. We are also moving both applications to a new server. We have test the process at least 10 times in the past 4 month and this weekend was go live. We shut down CS and put the database in ADMIN mode to do a backup of the most recent data. The database was transfered to the new server and was restored using Data Manager 7.6. Once the restore was complete, we ran the MaxDb 7.8 upgrade program as ADMIN and it appeard that eveything was ok. One other note, because on the old server the database was approaching the 90% mark, we increased the nubmer of data areas on the new server from 15 to 25. Everything appeard to go ok during the upgrade and I was able to connect to the database using Data Studio. Once we confirmed the database was what we though was stable, we CHANGE THE IP ADDRESS of the new server to that of the old server. We had done this during our testing and eveything appears to work OK with our test SAP instance. Well, this time when we connect to CS via the localhost connection, CS returned that we were on line with SAP, but that we were not connected to the database.

Not sure what happened, but we ended up going back to the old server until we can determine what went wrong. Does anyboy have any suggestion as to why this could have happened and what we need to do to fix the issue.

Thanks all for the help, but we found the problem. 6 weeks ago we upgraded to ECC 6 and at that time we have a problem with the certificates, so we could not retreive any documents. There is a check box in the CSADMIN configuration that disables the check for the certificate, so we disabled the check. Everything work OK with patch version 9, even when we fixed the certifiactes. For some reason patch 11 did not like that box checked. Once we on checked the box, everything worked fine. Since we want to know why this makes a difference I have opened up a note with SAP to see if they can explain the problem

LaserJet 1020 Printer will not communicate with my Mac. Any suggestions?

When I test of try to print anything, the Mac shows a print complete, but the printer doesnt print.

I'm on a Windows 7 right now so can't give you anything further, not being on the same OS. Portable Devices should be showing and is not with your 8.1 system or Mass Storage. The driver to recognize the phone comes from Microsoft not the phone or Verizon as most people think. I'd do a internet search on the Samsung 5 with Windows 8.1 or perhaps someone may show up with info. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Computer will not communicate with router when i try to install upgrade software

I downloaded the upgrade software for a firmwire upgrade and when I type in the 192.168.1.1 address in my internet browser address bar, I do not get connected with the router so I can do the upgrade. I pushed the reset button on the router after I downloaded the software like the manual instructs. The connection keeps getting interrupted for some reason.

What is the Model no of the router...?
Unplug the modem from the router..Only connect the computer to the router on ethernet port1..Hard-reset the router for 45 seconds,power cycle the router and check the ip address you are getting on the computer.
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1...If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter..If you get 4 replies then,Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Use Internet Explorer to upgrade the firmware.

Deskjet F2120 will not communicate with PC

The printer works fine as a copier and it can even print a test page after I turn the power off and on. Whoo pee do!
I've tried uninstalling the software, reinstalling the software using the supplied HP disks.
The HP uninstall doesn't work properly, because even after going through the process, some of the HP stuff just refuses to go away!
I tried different ports, downloaded the other special update only to be told that I don't need it.
I've watched videos on youtube - they had some good solutions there!
I downloaded the diagnostic tool - it either said everything was fine (which it wasn't) or everything was wrong (which it wasn't)
The diagnostic tool reckons the printer is not connected.
It is connected, I even bought a new cable in case that was the problem.
I can't even print a simple text file!
I'm all out of patience,
I've been working with computers (and printers) for over 20 years but never have I come across such user unfriendly
hardware & or software as this HP ^#&*^.
Can anyone tell me what to do (other than using the M16 solution)
