It's a long time since I visit last. Anyways, I have a question to ask. In my new Organization, I am responsible for database performance. So,I like to have your
view on this that How should I go about this? I feel, there is shivere performance
in our database.
few of those are...
1. user connection takes around 15 seconds.
2. Sql's are taking long time to execute and few of them dosen't execute at all, also the session goes into in-active mode, most of the sessions behaves the
same.

Hi Alok,
One idea regarding your first question: the db runs in 'dedicated server' mode and you don't have allowed enough processes to start to satisfy all connection attempts.
Above written, you don't give enough details to suggest anything, I would say.
How did you get this job when you don't even seem to have enough knowledge to determine the problem properly?

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details

7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)

9. Select NONE for Payment Method

12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account

Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use an Apple wall-mount charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the exact procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know whether or not a battery problem exists.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.
In other words:
The backup to which you're trying to restore was created with a lower or previos version of iOS than the one installed on your iPhone during the recovery. If this is the case then you'll be unable to restore your phone with that backup and you'll have to set your iPhone up as new. Or,
Your iPhone was/is jailbroken. If this is the case, there is nothing anyone here or at Apple can do for you.

I am based in South Africa, and it seems like we cannot purchase any music or movies from itunes. Apparently it is not supported by our itunes store, what ever that might mean. Unfortunately the staff in all of the i-shops in South Africa are pretty much unhelpfull, unlike the service i received while in the US. Any suggestions on how to by-pass this seemingly boycot of the South African users?

To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. Basically all you have access to would be anything offered in South Africa unless you move to a different country.
It's the media owners who get to tell Apple where and where they cannot sell their media. I'm sure Apple would be happy to take your money but if the media companies are not happy then they can say no to sales in SA.
Even if there were a way to bypass this we certainly couldn't tell you on this forum because it would violate the Terms of use of this web site and get the whole topic removed.

If you want to change your iCloud ID to another existing ID you'll have to delete the account, create a new account with the other ID, and migrate your data to the new account. To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
This will not move your photo stream, however. If you have photos in photo stream that aren't in your camera roll and that you haven't backed up anywhere else you will need to save these before deleting the account. To do this, open your photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. You can then delete the iCloud account and your photos will stay in your camera roll.

This initially started out as me trying to get my battery to work. my battery was dying after a few minutes so I was trying to kill the battery and recharge it to see if I couldn't get it back to a full charge. This didn't work but after a day or so I noticed the computer running slow and when I went to start it a couple days later the apple icon page would pop up and the little grey wheel would just whir away below it like it was thinking. The screen was kinda hard to see. Since then I have tried several different things to get the computer to fire back up as it should. I have taken out the battery and left it hoping the internal battery would die and it would reset itself to a default mode. Didn't work so I then tried taking the battery out and just using the power cord. This didn't work. I tried putting the battery out and in while running on the power cord. this didn't work. I have tried holding the "alt/option" key and that didn't work. Although it did give me a different window. I have tried holding down the "f" keys. That didn't work. I have tried installing a disc to try and reinstall the operating system. That didn't work. I had to shut it down and restart it holding down the eject key to get the disc back. I am running out of things I can think of to try so if anyone has any ideas I am open to all of them.

I have tried installing a disc to try and reinstall the operating system.
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer when done.

2. Select Choose context button.
3. In the scope drop down box select OA Footer.
4. Click on apply.
5. Expand privacy.
6. Click on personalize pencil icon.
7. Set Rendered property to false at required level.
8. Click on apply.
9. Click on Return to Application link.

i have an assignment for my java class that requires me to create a program to simulate a gunfight between 3 people bob, aaron, and charlie. bob's shooting accuracy is 50% (the probablility of making a kill is 1 out of 2), aaron's accuracy is 30%, and charlie's accuracy is 90%. bob shoots first, then charlie, then aaron. the person shooting shoots at the person with the highest accuracy; so bob would shoot first at charlie, etc. they continue in this fashion until there is only one person left standing and they win that duel. there are to be 10,000 simulated duels to see who would win the most often.. im having a very hard time figuring out what to do with this program.. like how to write the code to make the program figure out who to shoot at based on accuracy. if you have any suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it!! thanks ahead of time. heres wht i have so far:

Alternatively to the "isAlive" state, you could simply remove the dead person from the list.

How to go about this situation....

Long story short I made a mistake and opened a title loan on one of my vehicles a few years back. I defaulted on the loan and never paid it back. Just Recently I got a letter asking pay them back in payments. I have the money in full to pay but would like to work on a PFD or even go to the Original Creditor and going around the collection agency.   Fast forward to today I would like to sell this vehicle but do not have the title and I would like to PFD Ad Astra Recovery for the title and possibly removal off transunion and Experian. How would you go about doing a PFD and getting the title back?I would like to do this as quickly as possible as it is easier to sell a car with a title in hand..
