    Hope from all early response.
       Thanks...

Hi Kalyani,
Welcome to SDN.
If you are using IDoc, then you can use standard SAP program <b>RCCLTRAN</b> or <b>RCCLORD</b> to generate outbound production order.
Hope this will help.

  • Output type for production order

Hi, when we save the production order, we wants to transfer the prod order header details in legacy system thru idocs. Trying to define output type for production orders in NACE t-code, could not find production order option there. Pls advise in this case how to define the output type for production order so that the header data will be taken by idoc and transfered to legacy. Pls advise.

    Hi,
production orders don't have output types like SD orders.
But they have status control and events. Look into the object type BUS2005 in transaction SWO1. There you find the events which are fired by SAP, eg. ProductionOrder.Released.
Which Idoc type do you want to use?
I think you have to programm your own method for the Idoc creation. Put it into a workflow task and assign it to the event.

  • Movement type for production supply missing in warehouse

    Gurus,
I am getting this error when i use TC-LP11
movement type for production supply missing in warehouse
    What should be done?

All I can suggest is checking the master data:
Must have at least one Prod. Supply Area and one control cycle set up.
PSAs are part of the WM-PP interface and are created in WM and are used to group together Work Centres (which are Production master data).
    Created under application menu:
Logistics/LE/Master data/Warehouse/Production Supply   (Tx LPK1/2/3 see also LS41) and assigned to Work Centres under application menu:
    Logistics/Production/Master data/Work centres/Work centre/Change (Basic data view).
(To find out the PSA aka Supply Area from Process Order Display Tx select:  Goto \ List \ WM Picklist  and scroll to right)
A Control Cycle defines for a given material, Plant and PSA:
which WHS to get the material from
which interim storage type to take it to
which bin to place it in (can be dynamic for pick parts)
    Logistics/LE/WM
    Master data/Control cycle record/Create

  • Fetch type of product from scale

    Hello,
    Below is current process :
We have an application running successfully where we fetch the weight of product currently on Production Line using Java.
All the products on line belong to same order and are of same type.
User at beginning enter the type of product and starts the production line.
    Proposed new process:
Now client want that multiple type of product can belong to same production order.
i.e. on a production line different type of products can come one after other.
So we should now fetch the type of product also.
    The Question :
Now the question is what are different possibilities in which we can find the type of product.
Can java fetch color of a box ? If we use scanner on line that scans the product and sends the color information to Java.
Above is just a possibility. Can there be any other parameters that Java can use to differentiate in type of product ?
    Currently we are clueless.
What ever are the possibilities in Java we can propose the same to client. Even if that requires additional hardware.
    Experts please suggest.
Thanking you all for such great forums.

First get a scanner which can scan dimensions and color of the product. Use two scanners if required.
    correct.
Most Products have some kind of Bar Code or QR Code (holding a partnumber or similar, sometimes even serial numbers) especially if they are already boxed. Scanners for this are pretty common and cheap.
    2749679 wrote:
Once device reads dimensions and color, this can be sent to Java program using serial port communication. Java will fetch this data using communication APIs. Java actually does not fetch all this information like weight, color, dimensions of product.
It is actually some scanning device which reads all this information. Then this information is sent to communication ports.
Java Communication APIs only reads information from these ports.
This is true for Java as for any other programming language.

I need to move an iTunes library to an External Hard Drive to free up space on iMac.  I Need suggestions on type of External Hard Drive to use.  Should you use a Multimedia Hard Drive like LaCie LaCinema Classic HD Multimedia Hard Drive OR a standard Large Desktop Hard Drive like Western Digital/Seagate/LaCie?

There is no benefit to the multi-media feature on the first drive you mentioned. If you are going to look at differences between certain drives, I'd look at the differences in reliability first.

  • Move the stock from the raw material storage type to production storage typ

    Hi
How to move the stock from the raw material storage type to production storage type.
note that both stoare type be in same storage location only.
    pls reply me

    Hi Raj,
I WM process, issue or transfer to Production process results in picking of material from the RM storge location / storage type.
If you mean your production stoarge location is same as that of the RM stoage location, it is just a tranfer within a warehous.
which you could do with posting change document. This doesnt reduce your WM stock.
If the production stoarge location is differnt from RM stiage location, then it is picking process from WM and goods issue.
    this reduces your WM stock.
    hope it helps.

  • Restrict Production Order type to Production order transaction

We have multiple Production order types. We would like to associate order type to order create transaction codes. For example Order type PP01,PP02 to transaction CO01 and order type say XYZ to transaction CO07.
The reason for doing this is to lock down users from creating material Production orders using CO07 and non-material orders using CO01.
    Any feedback will be appreciated

    Hi Ramesh,
from your number of posts, I gather you're rather new to SDN.
The reason why someone asked if this is a suggestion or a comment is that this part of the forum is intended for suggestions and comments only.

  • ORDER TYPE WISE PRODUCTION

    Dear All  ,
My requirement is that i want production order type wise .ie i have one FG Sloc and all my materials packed under different order types such as repacking , sales return ,& normal production are posted in same sloc now i want a report in which i could get this all production seperately.any std report or Table that could help me .
    Regards
    Sarfraz

    Hi Sarfraz,
You could develop a custom report for your requiremnet.
First, based on your date range, go to table AFRU and get a list of the confirmed orders.
Then collect all the order numbers and in the next step, go to table AFPO. Here, select the order types you want one by one and pass the collected order numbers. This would segregate your selected orders according to the order type and you can get your desired output.
    Hope this helps.
    Revert in case of problems.

  • Order Type in Production Order

    Hi experts,
I have 2 order types PP01 and ZP01. I want to use ZP01 as the default Order Type.
When I am creating Production Order with Transaction CO01    I enter ZP01 as the Order Type.
But when the Production Order is created through MRP Run I find it picks PP01 as the order type and I have no control on that.
Please let me know how to make Zp01 as the default Order Type.
    Thanks,
    Samar

    Hi,
First check ur material master whether production scheduling profile
assign or not in Work scheduling View. If it is assigned then check it
in config with T code :OPKP in that order type ZP01 assigned in order type TAb.
1.) When u run MRP then system automatically copied this ordertype in Planed order then convert it
into Production order/ process order.( ur zp01 automatically copy)
2.) When u creat order with C001.... need not to maintain order type (zp01)it automatically pickup.
Ortherwise if u want PO with differnet ordertype like PP01 then enter it  in main screen in T code.

  • Scheduling type for production order.

    Hi Gurus,
i have some doubts about production order scheduling. i have run a scenario OF MTO to Understand The Scheduling. i had created a BOM with  two components. The inhouse production Time of header Material is 3 days.and the scheduling Margin key is op2   flt aft1  flt bfr 1    rl per 2
after creating a sales order i had run MRP in MD50 by selecting scheduling 1 Basic Date Determination. it has taken the 3 days of in house production time and praposed dates.18th as starting date and 20th as finish date.and planed opening period is in past. and it has not praposed any scheduled dates in planned orders.
if i convert the planned order in to production order it is praposing the scheduled dates.
    scenario 2.
if i run the mrp for the same order by taking scheduling type as 2 lead time scheduling.       in planned order itself it is showing sheduled start date and scheduled finsh date. (which not shown in basic date run).
1.so is it mean that what ever the scheduling type we are using in MRP run is only applicable to create Planned orders only while convrting the planned orders in to production order dates will be re detemind. is this currect or wrong?
2.in which scheduling type system will not consider the scheduling margin key?
please help me to understand these questions.
    Thanks&regards,
    Venkat Bolla.

    Hi Venkat,
When MRP is run with '1' Basic Scheduling - Schedule Margin Key is not considered. As you rightly observed it considers the Inhouse Production days mentioned in materials master for fixing the start date. This is exactly to days.
When MRP is run with '2' Lead Time Scheduling - Schedule Margin Key is considered. Dates are calculated from Routing and Capacity requirement calculations are also done. Here calculation are exact to the seconds.
Schedule Margin Key takes effect only for lead time scheduling. Production dates are calculated from the float times of the SMK in the material master and times from the individual operations maintained in routing.
When planned order derived from Basic scheduling is converted to production order it is subjected to lead time scheduling and thus production dates are calculated
