Suggestion for the SBZ software
It would be nice to have the ability to assign a key combo to alternate between the speakers and the headset. There is one for Scout mode.

Is there a way to up forward a suggestion for the next software update?
I had my iphone stolen the other night and I was just wondering if we can put forward a suggestion towards the next software update.
I've been thinking that you should only be able to turn the phone off if the phone is unlocked (if there is a passcode lock then you should have to enter this before being able to turn the phone off)
If a phone is stolen the first thing people do is turn the phone off, but if this isn't so easy to do then people may still be able to find their phone using the find my iphone app which can only be used when phone is on

I would like to make a suggestion for the next iso itunes software update for the iphone 4-4s. Include a serperate treble and bass switch for the ipod on the iphone. What to you people out there think about this?

I want to upgrade my 2008 Mac pro to the latest one, will it meet the requirement for the future Software that's coming out for the next four years?.
I'd wait. What can't you do that you need? You mean you want to buy a new model, then why not wait for an actual new one, not the two year old 5,1, when you need to and have outgrown.
Yours will run Mountain Lion. yours is 4 yrs old and still supported and has life left. -
I recently subscribed to Acrobat XI after the trial expired but when I went to activate it I was asked for the serial number. I only have the order number on the invoice. How do I get the serial number for the trial software that is on my computer?

I downloaded a Trial version of Adobe Acrobat XI. Now the trial has runout and I've signed up for a subscription. However, my software still needs a serial number. How can I get a serial number for the installed software?
There is no serial number and you don't need one. What you need for a subscription is to SIGN IN within Acrobat, so it knows the subscriptions you own.

In updating my iphone 5 for the new software ios6. An error occurred and now is asking me to restore settings. But I don't want torestore setting causing not all of my recent data has been synced and I don't want to lose my data. How can I undo this since i did not hit restore settings, yet i can't do any other move without restoring at this point. Any ideas?
You phone is in recovery mode. Your data is already gone.
Why you would attempt a software upgrade without backing up all your data first is beyond me, but to each his own.

I am trying to install a printer Epson xp-605 but when i try to add it, Apple says it can't find the software. I have downloaded the software from Apple website and also from the Epson installation disc! The message is: "The software for this printer is currently unavailable. Please contact the printer’s manufacturer for the latest software."
Try a reset of the printing system. This often resolves the symptom you are experiencing.

Is there any suggestion for the "SafeNamedCache was explicitly released"
I deployed the coherence-java-3.6.0-java on red had with core 2.6.18 with 64 bit.
Then the deployed the coherence-3.6.0-cpp on the same manchine and complied the example "hellogrid" and it works ok . No any error .
My requirement is to integrate the Coherence into the Nginx0.7.62 for my web server . And i wrote a thread pool for the NameCache::handle and get a newly hendle after a 5 seconds just because of the error "was explicitly released" . But it is not useful for solving the problem .
Anybody please give me a suggestion for the root cause of this problem .

We intend to sell a package of online software to Golf clubs. Part of the bundle is 25 iPhones that their members use whilst attending the club. There is an app which is controlled and administered by the online software, each of the 25 apps need to have this app installed, and the AppStore is the best way for them to download it and be pushed updates.
Would we be breaching Apple’s terms and conditions in any way by offering this app for free through the AppStore and taking payment for the online software separately (the iPhone app is completely unusable without the online software).
Please could you advise?Probably a question best addressed either in the developers' forum or by contacting Apple directly.

I updated my mac 10.8 to mavericks but after installation the app store ask for the same software update again..i have a slow connection..i cannot install it again and again..what should i do?
In case you are not aware, Mavericks requires a high speed broadband connection.

Suggestion for new Forum - Software Quality Assurance & Testing
Hi - I'm active in ASUG and a SIG Chair for Software Quality Assurance SIG. I'm new to SDN and looked around a bit for where topics related to Software QA, Testing, Test tools & methodologies, etc. would be posted and discussed. I haven't found any relevant forums. A couple postings on SAP TAO (test tool) landed in the Solution Manager forum... looks like they were searching for a relevant home too.
We have good content and discussions on these topics on asug.com and I'd like to facilitate bringing some of these topics to the larger SDN community. I started a blog, we sponsor webinars, etc. What would you think of having a forum on SDN called Software Quality Assurance & Testing? Or are there other suggestions for where I would start discussing this? Maybe the forum's out there already but I just can't find it?

Currently the security aspects of good software development don't have a real home either, and are distributed over SCN in a rather thin and adhoc fasion by a few folks.
I am sure that such a forum would attract a lot of new attention to SCN on the customer side, as it is important for them.
It would also be irrefutable that the SCN Rules of Engagement are applied strictly to such a forum

Suggestions for Image montage software needed
Hi,
I am in need of come cool image montage software that can handle a few hundred images. I have checked out Core Melt's ImageFlow (fx) and while that is ok, it isn't as dynamic as I would like. For 99 bucks, there are only one or two of their styles that I think are ok. I am looking for something more original, could be 3D or not.
Any and all suggestions would be helpful.

ariyeah, sure I could do it myself, but literally I have nearly 1000 photos and even though I could batch some stuff, either in AE or FCP, (or motion, actually) I don't have the time. Core melt's deal is simply point to a folder of pics, real time rendering, set the temp and go. Done in as long as it takes to render the movie out to a non self contained file, then compressed to a m2v.

Where can I leave suggestion for the manufacturers???
Anybody knows where can suggestions can be posted for the future improvements for the software to our Ipods??
Some things that I'd love to see in the next Ipods or software are:
- Scrolling of the whole album name, Artist name on the screen of the Ipod
- During the mode sleep would be nice to set the volume low level for sleep and for "alarm" mode it would be perfect wake up with a louder volume.
- For the clock settings moving the digits each one 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 independently instead to go around the clock for 12 hours everytime when a new alarm is set.
- Timer for sleep if could be "open" to everybody own time it would be great other than 15 mins 30 mins 60 mins etc there 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc much better in this case for sleep.
I wish that the people that is involved with the development and manufacturing of our favorite player could do something about it otherwise who else???
