Yea, I have a friend who has noticed this issue on his Z10.
I've tested on my Z30, and the voice feedback is loud and clear. We'll have to figure out the differenced in the devices or OS release, or settings.
What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > From the main screen, swipe down from the top black bezel to Settings > About... what is the OS Version listed there?

Changing language for Voice Control

I don't know what you guys think about it, but i like the new voice control feature very much.
One tiny thing though: i use it in French, so it is perfect when i want to call one of my friend or dial a number, because i'd rather say my french friends' names in french ; but it is horrible when i try to make my iphone play a song.
Indeed, 90% of my music is english/american, and it is impossible to figure out how to say aloud the (english) name of the songs with a french pronunciation.
I know we can switch language in the international settings, but then if i do so the problem is the same for my contacts...
what i would love from apple is the possibility to set a different language setting for each app (ipod / phone / ...). Even better, if i could just add an option on each song to tell if it is english / spanish / etc. (in itunes for example) it'd be just great. That way the voice control know how to read / search the songs correctly.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with that problem. Maybe someone knows that "there's an app for that". I doubt it though.

I can only make outgoing calls. My home button is only working for voice control and won't take me back to menu. I am only in the calling screen and can't even shut off. What do I do?

I am freaking out! I am a college student and owner of my Iphone 3Gs. I just got it this past August and I don't understand what is wrong. I did not drop it or come into contact with any water or disabling substance. I am literally stuck on the calling page with favorites, recents, contacts, keypad and voicemail. When I push my Home button I am not brought back to my menu. When I hold it down voice control is enabled but I still can't get to my menu. Then when I try to hold the sleep button to shut off nothing happens. What's wrong with my phone? I can't even go into contacts and hit text message nothing happens. Also, when I get a message in nothing happens when I push view. Please help me.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Suggestion for WoW Control Panel

Hey all,
I'd like to make a suggestion to Creative. if the Wow headsets consist of an x-fi processor, then surely it would be possible to give the headphones similar "modes" as what exists for the sound cards: i.e. game mode, entertainment mode, etc. One would provide a better solution for gaming (and i think this is the "mode" these headphones are in), and the other would mean music would actually be undistorted, like it is in entertainment mode with standard x-fi cards.
It doesn't have to be put into the wow control panel although obviously that would be the most polished option, you could just have the current audio control panel that comes with X-Fi drivers recognise Wow headphones, and we can then tell the headphones what mode we want.
My music is definitely not as clear as my Xtreme Music card, and if this chip is genuinely similar/identical in nature, then i don't see why this can't be done.

I bought my sons new 4th generation 8gb iPod iTouches for Christmas. I want to restrict Internet websites and usage since they are only 13 y/o. Someone suggested a free application that apparently is great.....but I cannot remember the name of it! Please help! Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Suggestions for Confirmation Control in POs

Dear All,
We are a manufacturing unit, importing most of the components with huge transit times. My requirement is as follows:
After the PO is sent out, we receive the order confirmations (OCs) from the vendors by E-mails. The dates mentioned in the OCs are the one on which the material will be ready at their end. Then we need to arrange for the transport. The total time from arranging the forwarder to receiving the material varies from 4-7 weeks.
Now, we want to see in MD04 that a confirmation AB has been entered in the system for the PO w/o any change in date, as the OC date is not actual.
With this we can follow up with the supplier about the readiness of the material and make transport arrangements.
Later, when we get the information about shipping, we can enter LA and the ETA.
Please let me know how to accomplish this.

to set automatic confirmation control key ,while creating the PO-> then we need to create an info record for the vendor ,material ,purchase org conbination and in the same we can give the confirmation control key.
so it would be defaulted automatically.

Can I setup more than one Language for Voice control?

I use 2 different language for my contact list and 3 different language for my music.
Is there a way to setup up for it to recognize more than one language?
I currently use Iphone 4

My new (8/2012) iPod Touch: voice control suddenly activates on its own. Is there a reason for this and how do you get it to stop?

For reasons unknown to me, my brand new ipod touch keeps activating Voice Control. I am not pressing the home button or touching any controls. I can be doing nothing with it and it just kicks on, sometimes interrupting what is already going on (like listening to an audio book in the Audible app. Is there a reason for this and how do I stop it?

The manual guide tells me to go to Settings>General>Siri. At the General menu "Siri" doesn't appear. What should I do to set Siri up if it doesn't appear at settings>general?

Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure Siri is set to On.

How do I turn off voice control for ipod features?

I'm having an issue with my iphone 4, when using with a 3rd party set of earbud headphones that include an inline microphone, wind and ambient noise cause the voice control to go haywaire. I've found the option to turn off voice dialing for the phone, but can't find a way to shut this off in iPod mode. Help? Please? It's driving me crazy...

I have the same problem with my ipod touch 4th generation. It only started a few days ago after I finally updated it ios 6.1.6; I never knew Voice Control existed on my ipod before then.
It has not happened when I had headphones plugged in, only when it was sitting by itself on a table and I wasn't touching it.
The first time it happened, it was sitting on my night table at 4am while I was sleeping. The second time it happened, it was sitting on my desk at work while I was quietly typing; I had to apologize to my coworkers while I tried to figure out how to make it stop. Just now it happened again, sitting on my kitchen counter while I was on the other side of the room. It has happened about four more times while I was sitting here at the computer researching the problem. I even checked to make sure the case (Otterbox) wasn't pressing on the Home button, and it's not.
I HATE IT!!!!!! It makes me so angry! If I can't figure out a way to make it stop, I'm going to have to stop using it altogether. Is that what you want, Apple? And no, I won't upgrade and buy a newer model; I'll get an Android version.

Z10 Voice Control speaks in US-format date for Uk date

Issue: UK format date 02/08/13 is "said" by Voice Control as "2nd August" - the date is in the calendar correctly as 8th Feb.
Steps to repeat the issue: "Schedule new appointment" using the Voice Control and add an appointment today (8th Feb 2013) - correctly added to the Calendar but the voice confirmation says "2nd August".

When you go to Settings> Voice control> Is the Language set to English UK?
Go into Settings> Language and Input> What is the Display Language and Region set to?
