Suggestions/Help - Authentication method and tracking of acess/download
Hello all.
Recently i've got a mission to do on Sharepoint and i would like to ask you guys for some suggestions on how to do this:
-Create an authentication method and tracking of access and download documents from one page.
Already tried some ways but no success until now, then i come here to ask for your help.
I am a beginner in sharepoint development so please try to speak in the simplest possible way, some terms i may end up not understanding.

Hopefully you have access to Central Administration. If you don't, I think you don't have the control over the farm you will need to accomplish your task. Go into Central Admin. On the left side you will see an option "Upgrade and
Migration". Select the option "Convert farm license type". The next page will tell you the current license version. I'm not sure about Foundation, but I expect that the upgrade and migration link won't be available at all and
thus could be assumed to be Foundation which may not have the functionality you desire. The list at
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj819267.aspx will show you that they are only available in the Standard or Enterprise version.

I have no idea what you're talking about, however my Mail stopped working when I
had to add a new e-mail address for my Hotmail account.
My new Hotmail address works, and seems to get e-mail from the old e-mail address,
which from I've read behaves as a "default" address for the old address.
Apple Mail is linked to my Hotmail account of the old e-mail address.
I no longer know my old password.
Apple Mail will not accept my new password for ny new Hotmail account.
Can someone help me solve this problem WITOUT COMPLICATED SOLUTION!
As I said I have no idea what a port, or SSL or authentication is!
If you do answer,please answer in vert simple steps that are easy to follow, and donlt make matters worse.

Help with kerning and tracking.
I am a new InDesign (version 3, Windows) user and am creating a 40 page booklet. I am using the 'justify with last line aligned left' style and some lines have words compressed so it looks like a run-on word and other lines have way too much space in between the words. Is there a standard setting one would use to make it all look straight and professional?

Bad idea with justified text, IMO. You didn't define what "didn't look
good" meant but it's very controllable using the hyphenation and
justification settings in the paragraph style (you are using styles, I
hope) that you're using for body text.
I suggest editing that style and enabling the preview to see the changes
as you make the adjustments.

NPS Authentication Methods - EAP Types
We are moving from IAS to NPS and are configuring the policy like it was in IAS. When we click on the Constraints tab > Authentication Methods > and then highlight Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP) and click Edit we get an error "The data is

We’d suggest to smoothly migrate IAS to NPS with following the guide in the link below without manually recreate all polices, it was also included the
Iasmigreader.exe utility which will help to transfer the IAS policies to NPS compatible file type:

when on itunes, a window popped upand said my songs were unchecked and were unable to download. Jow do I check them?

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.

Resuming downloads from an iOS device
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes icon.
For iPhone/iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
Click the "OK" button.
Click the Resume or Resume All button to start the download.
If you don't see the application to download it, then follow these troubleshooting steps:

HELP: Microsoft Outlook 2007: No authentication methods supported by...
I'm trying to get my MS Outlook 2007 to work and keep coming up with errors. When I test my Account Settings the first message I get is:
Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) email sever.
The second message I get is:
None of
the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.
All of which makes no sense to me. I also have this Outbox of mail I want to send but can't do that, but can delete it. Trying to send it I get:
Sending reported error (0x800CCC78): cannot send message. Verify the email address in your account properties. The sever responded: 530 5.7.1 Authentication required.
Of course that probably has to do with my first problem. I NEED HELP!Navigate to the Office for Mac Product Forums and ask the question there.

MacBookPro and Cisco's LEAP authentication method
I am getting ready to get laptop in next couple of weeks.
The Law School's wireless network standard is 802.11g. The network uses Cisco's LEAP authentication method. Only LEAP-enabled notebook computers may connect to all access points of the Law School wireless network.
I googled this and at least last year in 2006, macbook pro's weren't working with the LEAP system because they woudln't assign an IP address. Do you know has this been resolved?

"AirPort: How to configure Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" clients for LEAP authentication
If you select LEAP authentication on a Mac OS X 10.4.2 or later computer on which the AirPort 4.2 or later update has been installed, your authentication settings may be lost after restart, sleep, or location change. As a workaround, you should use the steps shown here, which will have the effect of configuring LEAP, even though you will choose WEP from the menu.
Go to the Network pane of the System Preferences, show AirPort, and click the AirPort tab.
Be sure the "By default, join" menu is set to "Preferred networks."
Note: If you don't have "Preferred networks" as a choice, this means that your 10.4 system was upgraded from 10.3, and that you're still using a Location imported from 10.3 (Panther). In this situation, you experience Panther behavior instead of new Tiger features. You will need to create a new location to utilize Tiger features and complete these steps.
Click the "+" button.
Enter the desired network name in the window that appears.
From the Wireless Security pop-up menu, choose WEP Password.
Replacing username and password with actual name and password, enter them exactly as show here, including both brackets and slash:
<username/password>
Note: Though there will not be any visible indication, this entry format sets the client to use LEAP rather than WEP.
Click OK. Note: The network entry will appear in the table as "WEP," but LEAP will be used.
Click Apply Now."
Looks like it works when you know what to do (or where to search). -
My old iPod Nano says to use iTunes to restore and I've followed all suggested help steps, but I can't get it into disk mode nor can I get it to show in my computer or in iTunes. I have the latest version of iTunes. Windows has all the most recent updates too. I can reset the iPod, but the message to Use iTunes to restore comes back and I am stuck.
Already tried another USB port, still nothing.
I don't have another PC to check, I only have one which is the one not working with my iPod.
It appears under my Computer, just not under iTunes. Plus, the iPod classic troubleshooting assistant doesn't work because I can't restore since it can't come up onto my iTunes! Even my iPod says "Use iTunes to Restore" once in a while, but I plug it in & I'm not able to restore it since it won't come up under iTunes.

I need help authenticating my outgoing server settings in setting up my work email on my Galaxy S5. It says unable to authenticate or connect to server and I even called helpdesk at my email support and they tried every possible port (80, 25, 3535 or 465 SSL) and none of them work. Please help!
You will need to get the required info to create/access the account with an email client from your school.
Are you currently accessing the account with an email client on your computer - if you have a Mac with the Mail.app, or if you have a PC with Outlook Express, etc.? If so, you can get the required account settings there. -

If you are having intermittent but persistent responsiveness issues with your mouse or trackpad, you may want to try using Activity Monitor to see if these incidents correspond to occupied system resources, especially system memory or CPU. My kid down loaded mackeeper and now I can not get rid of it. I have tried all techniques suggesting on several sites and still can not empty the trash can. keep getting error code -8003. Help.

This should help you empty what's currently in the trash, but is no guarantee you got everything related to MacKiller off the drive. See Ogelthorpe's link. -
same problem as all you others. Downloaded iTunes 10.5 twice and still not able to acess the iTunes store. Done everything suggested on the website and by the e mail from Apple (which just refs to the website!) Nothing wrong with the rest of my web acess. What is going on!
However, I can no longer access the iTunes store as the PC just sits there in limbo.

I can't sign out of iCloud on my iPhone 4 because I have the locator turned on for my phone and don't know the old password for my old Apple ID. I've tried all of the suggestions seen on here and the Apple ID site and cannot delete the cloud. Help?

I have tried EVERY suggestion Adobe has made and no matter what, I get the black "Adobe Reader Installer" screen EVERY TIME!! Any suggestions to help me overcome this problem would be appreciated. BTW: I have a Windows 7 Home OS. I prefer FireFox. I have successfully downloaded Adobe Reader using all the major browsers, however it does NOT matter, I am NOT able to actually install Adobe Reader, every time all I get is the black pop-up "Adobe Reader Installer" screen!!!
PS.... I had a previous version on my computer that needed to be updated.... so I uninstalled it because I was having trouble installing the new version.... so even that did not help!!
