Suggestions on organizing bonus features in iTunes?

I've been using HandBrake to rip and import some of my DVDs into iTunes (just upgraded to iTunes 11) and figured that, as long as I'm digitizing my movies, I may as well pull in the "behind the scenes" featurettes as well.
The thing is, I'm not sure where to put them: I don't want to have "Fellowship of the Ring" listed in my Movies library and then four or five more icons for the individual bonus features listed next to it before the next movie.
I could categorize the bonus features as "TV Shows" and use the "Series" grouping for them: all of the bonus features for Fellowship would listed together, all of Two Towers would be in a second grouping, etc.
I could also toss all of the bonus features under "Home Movies" and just let then fall in there, but if I ever decide to start putting actual home movies in there, I'd prefer to keep things separate.
So, there are some options, but I wanted to see if a) iTunes has a feature to link bonus features to a movie (since the iTunes store is starting to sell things like that) or if b) anyone here has found their own way to make it work.

I cant play bonus features on itunes extras

I have been buying films with itunes extras for a while now and successfully downloading them and viewing both the films and the extras. On 17th November I bought and downloaded a film with extras but was unable to play the extras. Since then I have bought several more films and have the same problem - the extras will not play.
I have contacted support a number of times, and have tried reinstalling itunes, uninstalling itunes, updating windows 7, before installing itunes again. I then download a copy of one of the affected Itunes Extras, that support keep giving me so I can see if I have solved the problem.
However nothing I have done has changed the situation, and I've noticed that the download process gets interrupted by error 3150, and once when attempting to restart the download, error 9006 appeared.
My internet provider is O2. My computer is connected wirelessly to another computer in the house, which has an O2 router. The router itself is connected to our phone. I have the latest AVG programme with its firewall activated
I understand that error 3150 and 9006 seems to be caused by a problem with the internet connection. Re configuring my AVG firewall was recommended, though it seems to be allowing itunes. I dont think I've got a web accelerator, and if I did I dont know where to look for it. Is it a programme that would have been installed onto the computer, or is it part of Internet Explorer?
I have seen other recommendations for sorting out 3150 and 9006, but seeing that there isn't a question about error 3150 affecting itunes extras, I thought I'd bring the issue to this community. Its strange that Itunes Extras is the only thing that is affected and nothing else, although it is downloaded seperately with the film. What's more this issue seems to have come out of no where and I'm stuck on what to do next.
I would be so pleased if anyone could help me.

As to the 50 errors, things I can think of to try offhand are:
Clear the contents of your iTunes download folder.
Clear your browser caches, both IE & default browser if different.
The iTunes store cache (Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Cache).
Exclude the download folder or entire iTunes Media folder from AV on access scans.
As to marking an answer as correct/helpful there should be buttons at the bottom of each speech bubble that you can use, assuming this post was originally asked as a question (which appears to be the case).

Suggesting features for iTunes

I'll start this post by telling readers a little about my computing background. I used to be a PC nerd who hated Macs and would never consider buying one. iTunes came out, I gave it a try to prove to myself that Apple made crappy software. To my surprise, it was great, and I completely switched to it from years of Winamp addiction. I still didn't like Macs though.
Enter OSX and the PowerBook. 10 minutes of playing with my friend's new PB caused me to buy one, and I've loved every minute of using my PB since the day I opened its box. So now I am a Mac and PC nerd.
The reason for this post is that I would like to suggest 2 features for iTunes. They are both pretty obvious to me, but version after version comes out, without these features.
Here they are:
CD-TEXT. Why the **** would you release a program in the year 2006, that burns audio CD's but does not write CD-TEXT? Seriously. WHY?
The other feature: an easy way to update the library on the Windows version. On the Mac, iTunes seems to somehow know when you move your music files (maybe even delete them, haven't noticed), and it updates your library automatically. This is awesome, and the fact that no such feature is included in the Windows version kills me. I have thousands of songs on my Windows machine. I download tons of music (legally of course), and every time that I go to add music to my library, I have to think twice about where I place the files. I like to keep a very organized music directory, and I don't want iTunes doing it for me either. I just want a button that scans for missing files and deletes them from the library, then scans the iTunes music folder for new songs and adds them.
With these 2 features, iTunes couldn't get any better.
Screw all the video features, podcasts, etc. Who cares? Music is what I (and most people in general) use the program for, and the fact that it can even function with the amount of songs I have in my library amazes me and tells me its meant to work with such a quantity of files.
So why not add such vital features? Come on Apple!! Microsoft does suck, but you gotta pick up the slack to stay as far ahead of them as you have been ever since the release of OSX!
By the way, is there anywhere on this site that I could officially suggest these features? I looked but could not find such a page.

although there isn't a dedicated enhancement request channel for itunes, there is one for the ipod. since itunes is the only supported software for getting music onto an ipod, i figure that's a worthy place to make itunes enhancement requests:

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).

After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:

It happens sometimes. Delete the current copies, don't hide from iTunes in the cloud if prompted, close iTunes, reopen, download from iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
While downloading click the download icon at the top right and uncheck Enable simultaneous downloads. You may find it more reliable that way.

How can I get my movie to play that I downloaded from my ipad to my pc? It will play the bonus features, scene selection etc but not the movie

I bought some movies from iTunes to put on my ipad. I stored them in icloud and downloaded them to my pc. problem is that although the bonus features etc will play on the pc, the actual movie won't! What should I do??

What happens when you try to play the actual film ? And have you tried deleting them and (assuming that they're still in the store) redownloading them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page - or going into Edit > Preferences and on the Store tab ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box so that they show in the My Movies part of your library with a cloud icon against it for redownloading) ?
(You can't store films in the cloud, whether they will show there for redownloading depends upon what country that you are in - and if you move countries or if the rights-holder removes them then you also won't be able to redownload them. Ideally you'd be taking a backup copy of all of your downloads, and not relying on being able to redownload them in the future.)

Trouble Downloading Twilight Movie Bonus Features

I pre-ordered the Twilight movie on iTunes, where it promised over two hours of bonus features. iTunes sent me an email this morning with 2 links to download the special features. I clicked on them both and got only 90 minutes of features. I thought I may have only downloaded one of the links but I tried them both again and they both said I already redeemed the offer. Is 90 minutes what you are supposed to get or is there a way I can fix this?

It really helps if you call the costumer service at 1-800-275-2273. They are very dedicated to helping you. Something similar happened to me, except I never received my email with links to bonus material. I'd advise the chat because it may take less time and they don't have to put you on hold or anything and you can be given the advice and help you tremendously.

Will the ability to customize genre art ever be a feature in iTunes?

Using iTunes is great but one area which always baffles me is why doesn't it allow you to customize the genre art? It lets you customize the genres themselves but in order to customize the art I have to dig into the 'Package Contents' and then play around with the genres.plist file. This is all a bit fiddly, and each time I try it doesn't work, either through me being a computer idiot or it's all a lie. I would like to change the genre art within iTunes and not go digging around in folders. Does anyone know of a plug in that can do that?
I have looked at iTunes Genre Art Manager but that seems to be created for iTunes 8, though it says it works for iTunes 9. However, I'm on iTunes 10.
As I say, a plug in would be great, but a feature built right into iTunes itself would be better. How do we suggest such a thing to the iTunes Wizards so it is included in a future version?

I have tried it with iTunes 10. Essentially nothing happens within iTunes and then iTunes Genre Art Manager says it cannot save any changes. I might be doing something wrong, but following the instructions has not been successful. As far as I can tell I am running Java SE 6 on a 64 bit Macbook Pro.

DO NOT UPGRADE TO MAVERICK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DEPENDED ON APPLE’S CLOUD. It removes the ability to sync Calendar, Notepad, and Contacts between your apple devices. You then can only sync them via Apple’s Cloud. For those of you like me, that do not want to be depended on an external data base accessible via the Internet or Cel Phone (with data charges).
Why do I not want to use the Cloud to sync and backup?
1. I found I only have one device with me at a time or am sitting at a computer when I add to my calendar, make a note, or add/change a Contact. Syncing with iTunes while upgrading apps and doing a back up to two external hard drives worked great and met my needs.
2. I use WiFi and pay for the minimum data plan with my Cel provider (AT&T). I do not want to pay higher monthly data fees.
3. I do not like a central data base (that will be hacked someday) having the personal info I have in my Notes, Schedule, and Contacts.
4. I like the security of my most important data being on my own hard drives and written off to Data DVD’s, not subject to even rare central system outages/failures.
5. I do not like the prospect of becoming dependent on a Cloud in which the provider could decide at any time to either start selling information or charging monthly fees to recover the costs of providing the cloud.
I am reluctant to go to the trouble to go back to 10.8 because Apple will eventual stop providing updates to 10.8 and 10.8 compatible applications.

I believe that feature was added in order to reduce wasted costs to the Podcaster.
Podcasts incur costs - that have to be paid for, by someone. That cost will be the cost of hosting the Podcast on a server somewhere and more crucially (with regard to your point), the cost of the Podcast being downloaded to your computer. Every download costs the Podcaster money (typically, charged by bytes downloaded).
If that Podcaster pays for the whole thing personally, obviously they want to keep down any unnecessary cost to themselves. If the Podcaster is earning money for his or her Podcast (typically from advertising within the programme) then obviously, the advertiser only wants to pay for advertisements heard by listeners. So a download, not heard by the downloader, is waste of the Podcaster's money or no payment from the advertiser.
My own experience is that I only have to resume downloading once per programme. I'm usually several episodes behind on two different Podcasts that I follow, but I do not recall having to repeat the resume Podcast after that first time.

Sleep Timer Feature in iTunes via Remote iOS app

I'm not sure this is the venue for this, but I would like the "Remote" iOS app (currently version 3.0.1) to let me set a "sleep timer" when I play a radio station on my iMac iTunes 11. I think this means iTunes must first have a "sleep timer" feature built-in before the Remote app can use it. There have been third-party "sleep timer" add-ons for YEARS, and yet Apple has not deemed it necessary to add the feature into iTunes. Unfortunately, these third-party add-ons cannot be accessed via the Remote app.
Anyone here found a work-around?

I Ipod class wont play TED and other video podcasts. The genious bar could not figure out the problem. This problem is not isolated to a single computer. Secondly, the convert to ipod version feature in Itunes does not resolve the problem.

Instead, the Apple store gave me credit towards a new classic, which produced the same problem. This problem is not isolated to a single computer. Secondly, the convert to ipod version feature in Itunes does not resolve the problem. Lastly, I tried restoring the ipod to no avail. I've heard this is a video codec problem.
