Good documentation about the NWDI
Hello,
I just started with the NWDI by installing it. Is there any good (and short) documentation about the functionality of the NWDI? Has the NWDI something like a but tracker and so on?
What are you using for your development to enhance the possiblity of the NWDI? Are there any additional applications (not neccessary from SAP) that you are using?
Thx, VanessaHi,

Documentation around the Oracle to CfTE integration
Hi,
Have a good day!
Do you have any documentation around the Oracle to Cloud for travel and expense integration? I would like to gain some knowledge around the Integration of CfTE with a Non-SAP system (Oracle).
Please guide/share any documents.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Abiuth Animon SHello Abiuth,
So far there is no standard documentation Oracle to Cloud for travel and expense integration is available.
But SAP Product owner / Development colleagues are in process to prepare the same.
Once it is available , we will update in SCN.
Unfortunately we cannot commit any time line for the same.

Documentation about the structure of o=pab
Hello,
For some reasons, we want to use another webmail in place of Messenger Express but we would like to remain compatible in case of future changes...
We have already create the interface for the SIEVE filters and we want now create an interface for the AdressBook.
Is there some documentation about
- how to create an AdressBook : why the name AdressBookc9a643a ?
where do the string c9a643a come from ?
- how to create entry in the address book
Exemple : PascalMaesd2cb535 where do the "d2cb535" come from ?
Thanks

SunOS mailstore-2-1 5.10 Generic_Patch i86pc i386 i86pcHi,
For some reasons, we want to use another webmail in
place of Messenger Express but we would like to
remain compatible in case of future changes...No problem there, Sun is also using another interface, Comms Express :) I should point out that in Comms Express, the PAB format is actually different (refer to the following site for a migration tool):
http://www.sun.com/blueprints/1206/820-0618.html
Is there some documentation about
- how to create an AdressBook : why the name
AdressBookc9a643a ?
where do the string c9a643a come from ?
- how to create entry in the address book
Exemple : PascalMaesd2cb535 where do the
"d2cb535" come from ?No public documentation that I am aware of exists, but then again it isn't really needed. It should be straight-forward enough to reverse-engineer the structure.
From memory the random looking strings are just that -- some unique identifier generated to reduce the possibility of clashes. So if you were to use some kind of timestamp/username hash has you could generate your own string and that should be fine.
Basically it's a case of trial/error to see what generated strings are accepted by the existing messenger express installation.

Pricing Procedure
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure. Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured). Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
In SD, the steps to configure Pricing procedure are as under:
Step 1:
Condition table: If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
Step 2:
Access Sequence: If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
Step 3:
Condition Type: If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
Step 4:
a. Pricing Procedure: It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
b. Pricing Procedure: After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
5. Condition record: Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc.
Normal Sales Order Cycle:-
Step 1: Sales Document Type
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents >
Sales Document Header:
1. Sales Document Type:The sales document types represent the different business transactions, such as Inquiry, Quotation, Sales Order, etc. To create new sales order type, always copy as with reference to similar sales order. If possible use standard sales order.
2. Define Number Ranges For Sales Documents: Maintain number range with discussion with core team.
3. Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types:
A. Combine sales organizations / Combine distribution channels / Combine divisions: Ensure to maintain these, else Sales Order creation will give error.
B. Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas: Assign only required Sales Order Types to required Sales Area. This will minimize selection of Sales Order Type as per sales area.
Sales Document Item:
1. Define Item Categories: If possible use Standard Item Category. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
2. Assign Item Categories: If possible, use standard. Formula for deriving item category: Sales Document Type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Category = Item Category
Schedule Line:
1. Define Schedule Line Categories: If possible use Standard Schedule Lines. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
2. Assign Schedule Line Categories: If possible, use standard. Formula for deriving Schedule Line: Item Category + MRP Type / No MRP Type.
Step 2:
IMG > Logistic Execution > Shipping > Deliveries >
1. Define Delivery Types: If possible use Standard Delivery Type. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
2. Define Item Categories for Deliveries: If possible use Standard Item Categories for Delivery Type. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
3. Define Number Ranges for Deliveries: Ensure to maintain number range.
Step 3:
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Billing >
1. Define Billing Types: If possible use Standard Billing Type. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
2. Define Number Range For Billing Documents: Ensure to maintain number range.
3. Maintain Copying Control For Billing Documents: Maintain relevant copy controls such as Sales Order to Billing, Deliver to Billing, etc.
The configuration differs from scenario to scenario & requirement of the client.

The lotus mail about the Background Job status
Hi ,
I have a requirement where SAP users want the status of the background job in their lotus mail. The problem is job takes run for more than 15-20 hours and some times gets failed too.Whichever is the status , they want the update. The job is run daily in the night. So can not be done in the same program. Writng different program to check and send the mail can be an option.
But My question would be
1.Is there SAP standard funtionality /progarm to send the job log (not the spool) in the mail?
Thanks in advance.Hi,
You can run another job in background which can monitor this original program. I would die and schedule itself in an hour for next status. the logic goes this way.
1) The original Z program call the Z job monitor prog with jobname.
2) The Z job monitor prog checks the status of job and will send a status mail on finished or cancelled.
3) if the job is still active, the z job monitor prog will schedule itself for after an hour to check the status again.
thus steps 2 & 3 would be in loop till the original z prog finishes or gets cancelled.

Where is all the documentation about the SDK available for download?
I need to comunicate an extension with the elements in an Illustrator document. I saw that i need to use IPC toolkit but where can I find examples about something similar?
Best regards,Hi,
You can get the API reference to the IPC toolkit (also called 'Vulcan') from within Extension Builder 3 Preview 3. Select Help->Adobe Extension Builder 3 Start Page. From there you can press 'Docs and API Reference' and 'Adobe IPC Toolkit'.
When you create a new HTML extension project, you can select the option 'Use Adobe IPC Toolkit'. When you do this, the generated project includes a code snippet from a template that you can use for reference, or modify to suit your project requirements.

Need info about the integration Process.
HI ,
I would like to know about the different components of Integration Process like about the Receiver etc..
and how do we relate the properties of each component with the container.
Thanks in advancehi Syed
An integration process is an executable, cross-system process for processing messages. In an integration process you define all the process steps that are to be executed and the parameters relevant for controlling the process.
You implement integration processes when you want to define, control, and monitor complex integration processes that extend across enterprise and application boundaries. The design and processing of integration processes is also known as cross-component Business Process Management (cross-component BPM, ccBPM).

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/68/6bfd3f9149ca42e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
You use a correlation to assign messages that belong together to the same process instance. A correlation joins messages that have the same value for one or more XML elements. A correlation is therefore a loose coupling of messages: at design time, it enables you to define which message a receive step must wait for, without knowing the message ID

Is there any Documentation about MDM4J (Java API) ?

Is there any documentation on the BC Data Centre's?
Hi,
I have been a premium reseller of BC for over two years but I am struggling to find any documentation about the BC Data Centre's. I have not been asked before but I am launching a delegate Registration Microsite for Symantec and as with all larger companies their procurement process requires evidetiary documentation to be supplied.
Specifically they are asking for specification or documentation on:
ISO 27001 certificate and Network Penetration test information.
Any help or guidance to this information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
RobHi Sidney,
Thanks for the helpful responses. I have had some progress with my queries and have now recieved PCI compliance documentation that BC sent through after your suggested ticket. Moving forward, I think that the shift to AWS will resolve all certification and compliance issues - I imagine this doesn’t come up too often with a product that is aimed firmly at SME’s.
My issue arose as I work for SME’s who in turn work for Blue Chips. Companies like Symantec, Sony & Canon all have extremely stringent procurement procedures even though they are budget conscious and the inference of documentation falls down the chain to us the technical supplier – the National Account Managers and Product managers just set up the deals and promotions and the legal/financial teams then throttle everyone with paperwork. They have simply been told that any websites which contain staff information must reach a very high standard of security and auditory compliance which is understandable but cannot be answered with ‘well its Adobe… of course they are secure!’.
I will follow up to the community when I have finished my research and have a result!
Thanks

does exist a documentation about the contents of the FlashPlayer installation log file "flashinstall.log"?
It could be interesting to understand the entries. Additionally the documentation of the error codes could help to find and fix installation/update problems...
'til now, I haven't found any documentation about on Adobe pages. I found, how I can activate/deactivate logging, but nothing about the structure, the meanings, error codes, etc....

AxelThank you Pat for the hints...
It's interesting, if you receive a warning in the log without a hint about the problem... :-)
I found this in a log, without any information behind the numbers or is it caused by the last entry?
