Summary data is incorrect
My summary data stats are not adding up correctly for a specific form that I created. I am not sure where is problem is generating from.
did you use the function "summary"? which type of your cell data? date,number,currency or other? FC will calculate them automatically. can you please share your form to me, if your form is not very security? my mail: [email protected]

How do I create a drill down for my summary data?
I have 7 fields of summary data with all having a common link called the customer account number.
I have tried the following steps several time carefully and was unable to get my drill down to work.
Insert menu > Group and chose the customer account number as my group field
copy and paste the summary fields to the group header ( which I now have hundreds of GH1)
Right click on the details section and chose Hide.
Suppress the Group Footer
File Menu > Report options and check on Show All Headers on Drill Down.
I must be missing a step somewhere here. I end up with no summary fields showing (to drill down into), and the customer account numbers showing.

you need a group to have drill down. you can't drill down on a report footer. if you can't group by these categories then you can't have drill down.
your other option is to create an on demand subreport that you can open. i would suggest that you go through a bunch of the e-learning tutorials on crystal reports here. after that go to the online help for crystal reports and use the search tab and search for "creating an on demand subreport"
you'd need to create an on demand subreport for each total that you are showing. again, please see the elearning topics especially on subreports, grouping. and then do follow the steps on on demand subreports in the online help.

When I open certain apps it says my device's date is incorrect. But on my calendar and general settings, it's all correct!
Try changing the date - doesn't matter to what - just change it - go back to the app and I assume that you will get the same message. Go back to the settings and change the date and time to automatic again and see if the apps will work after that. Turn location services on in the settings as well.

How to add more summary data in the MIP of Compensation workbench
Hi all,
In the MIP (incentive plan) of the compensation workbench, we need to add more summary data in the summary section. I checked that all the summary data in that section are stored in the table 'ben_cwb_summary'.
Even we can change the VIEW object for that page (using extension), we can't retrieve it because the new summary data/information we need to add are not stored in the table 'ben_cwb_summary'. We need to write our query to summerize data.
How to implement it?

CWB: how to add more summary data in the summary section
HI All,
We need to add more summary data in the summary section. Some summary data need to calculated dynamically like (summary data A /summary data B).
under the worksheet, there is a link:
Personalize Dynamic Columns
But this link allows to create Dynamic Columns for the worksheet, but not for summary setion.
Is any way to add more summary data in the summary section through personalization instead of customization (VO extension)?

Yes I have removed and reinstalled WMP.
I had good results with the PD6 application installed on the default path onto the C: drive with the one exception that if the application was launched by accident and the user data path was not available, the PD6 application would blow away my custom user path registry settings. Now that I know what they are I have made a .reg file to repair my registry to my desired user data paths.
Installing the application on the removable drive appeared to help prevent me from launching the application by accident and overwriting my registry with default user paths.
So which is the less of the two evils?
If the application directory is not available, windows media player still tries to launch the .msi for installing PD6.
If I install the application to the C: drive but the user data to the removable drive, launching the PD6 application without the user data drive will still corrupt my registry settings for a user data path.
Both these issues seem like a logical (if not easy) fix that should be done in the PD6 application and installation package. I mean really, cannot anyone tell me why windows media player is checking the PD6 application directory? Why in PD4 did we have an option control for setting the user data path from the PD4 application? Why is this option not in the PD6 application, just the installer?
I am given a choice during installation to move the user data to another non default location. Why else would this be provided if not to accommodate my kind of request to store the user data into an alternate location other than “My Document”. Certainly Palm is not trying to force the users on how to protect and store their personal data?

IPhoto 11 Faces and Dates are incorrect when synced to iPad/iPod
iPhoto 11, "Faces" and file creation dates appear to work perfectly when viewed within iPhoto 11 on my MacBook Pro. However, a few dozen Faces and creation dates appear incorrectly and out of chronological sequence when viewed on my iPad or iPod. I have rebuilt my iPhoto 11 library several times and re-synced to the iPad/iPod, but the problem persists. Anyone having the same issue or happen to know of a solution? Thanks in advance.

It was moved to the library by being imported from an NTFS external hard drive, which has now been reformatted to Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive, Journaled), the iPhoto library was originally located on the built in SSD drive, but is now located on an external hard drive, due to capacity limitations.
I am seeing the incorrect face orientations when I view the faces in the faces view of iPhoto, when I go onto a person, some are incorrect orientation.
But when I click on the files, they are correct.

SimonJust a note, I had the same problem and resolved it by making
sure my cfsqltype in cfqueryparam is cf_sql_timestamp instead of
cf_sql_datetime (which is not a valid value).
Also, just a note that when working with a datetime value in
cfqueryparam, using cf_sql_date for cfsqltype will truncate the
time to 00:00:00. -
How would you present summary data?
I have this spreadsheet that queries 6 different databases (on 6 different servers)- the spreadsheet then takes the output in each worksheet and does a comparison which then highlights missing
data between the sheets. I'd like to make a more "user-friendly" console (like a web browser) that will display this summary data. Ideally, the end-user could then select two distinct sources from some drop-down menu and invoke the resultant records
from the chosen comparison.
Is this something that I could/should do in SSRS? ...SharePoint list? Might there even be a more creative way using PowerShell to scrub csv files and front-end with a web page (seems kludgy)?
I'm no pro at any of these but want to direct my efforts at the most logical solution.I'd ask in the development forums on MSDN.

Query Governor - Summary Data - Only when not out of date?
In Oracle Discoverer Desktop edition the user can choose how Summary Data are used:
1. Always, when available
2. Only when summary data are not out of date (stale)
3. Never
What exactly is the meaning of "Only when summary data are not out of date"?
In previous versions of Discoverer you had the opportunity to specify how old (in days) summary tables were acceptable to you.
(By the way: In the Danish translation of Discoverer the word "not" has been omitted, so you have the opportunity to use summary data only when they are out of date :-)

TorbenActually it doesn't matter if you have Applecare or not because Apple simply isn't recognizing this as an issue even though multitudes of people have experienced it. If they don't see it as a problem, then they obviously don't have a solution, and so taking your laptop in through apple care is totally useless.
I've talked to 3 customer support representatives over the phone and they all said they were 'unaware of the issue' and would not even attempt to help. It's very disappointing. -
Material availabity date showing incorrectly in sales order schedule line

In Sales order Schedule line(after clicking shipping i.e displaying bottom of the screen) material availabity date is coming incorrectly . In my material in mrp2 view i selected proceument type as F and i gave planned delivery time as 19 days and GR processing days as 1 . suppose if i am putting sales order as on today 9-6-2010 it should show material avaialbity date as
7-7-2010 but it is showing 10 days more (excluding saturday and sunday) . So please give me suggestion where to check in the program SAPMV45A.

Summary report displaying incorrect questions.
My summary report shows the incorrect text/question from my form. I used a form template and changed the text in the questions, but the old (template) text shows up when I pull up the summary report. How do I correct this?
It looks like the choice in the "View Responses" table was likely edited and that is what is now "out of sync", the label in the Summary Report tiles match that of the View Response Table. I only see the one label for "Succinct" being out of sync. You can change that corresponding column header in the Response Table (under "Please reflect on the following attributes of Jane-Rachel in her role as facilitator:") from "Seminar location was convenient." to "Succinct" and that will update the Summary Report tile label as well. If any others don't match update them on the View Responses tab and that will update the Summary Report tiles.
If you do this, change the View Responses label to match the field, they will now be "in sync" again so that if you changed the label again in the form the View Responses column header and Summary Report tile would change to match.

XML Data Transfering Incorrectly (XDP)
We have a relatively simple workflow that transfers schema data from one form to another. Both forms are XDPs so we simply use a setValue to transfer the data (from form 1 to 2):
Location: process_data/form2/object/data
Expression: process_data/form1/object/data
We are having an issue where form 2 will not populate correctly unless run with Acrobat 9. We have investigated the issue and it seems that when the XML data is being transfered, the dataset somehow doubles. We set up variable loggers to track each of the datasets shown above and each one contains an extra set of nodes. One of those nodesets contains all of the form data and the other is just empty.
We believe the problem is that unless run in Acrobat 9, the blank set of nodes comes first. Acrobat only tries to read the first set, assuming it contains the form data, and finds none. For whatever reason, in Acrobat 9, the empty nodeset comes second so the form can render with the data.
Am I incorrect in thinking that the empty nodeset should not be there? Assuming that, I have determined that the problem either has to be how we are transfering the data from XDP to XDP or it could be related to the schema binding in form1. Some of the form1 data is bound directly from the form and some from fragments used in the form, but I can't seem to find any mistakes with the bindings.
Does anyone have any feedback or ideas on how to solve this? We are on a tight time budget so quick feedback would be greatly appreciated. The two you provided created the set of nodes with the data in them (as usual) but instead of an empty nodeset, it created an empty top level node ( ). Acrobat still seems to look there and won't recognize the data.

"Date Created" incorrect in Finder after copying image files from CF reader
Whenever I download image files (by drag and drop copying) from a CF card reader, the 'Date Created' info incorrectly defaults to 'Dec 31, 1903' in the List view of the Finder window.
'Date Created' shows up blank in the File Info window, too. Correct file info does however show up in the copied Meta Data.
I've only been able to transfer correct 'Date Created' info by using Image Capture, which is pretty annoying.
I've tried several cameras, CF cards, USB & FW card readers, and Macs running both Panther and Tiger. Same problem all around. Interestingly, files copy without a problem onto a PC.
I'm a photographer and I need to sort my images by 'Date Created' because I often shoot with two cameras and need to know the chronological order in which photos were taken.
Ideas anybody?

Edit: I see that testdisk and photorec belong to the same package... Still it looks like it should be the right tool for the job; but I might be wrong as I never used it.
Used it a couple of times, my daughter wiped photos from her mobiles memory card by accident .... Linux to the rescue

Cover flow doesn't work with Nano Firmware update 1.03
